Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 2 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 36GW2 is live! This time we are treated to a rarity, a Friday night game. As the Villans welcome in the vaunted Man United attack. However the Red Devils will be missing a key player and we will see what LVG does to offset not having Kyle Walker on the pitch.

If a Friday game wasn’t enough, we are handed a lunch time game between Saints and Everton to kick off our Saturday. Hopefully both teams once again entertain us with goals and bad defending. And please bring on Naismith earlier, the non-Everton fans demand it. Our opening fixture is followed by five 3pm games. The Stokies visit Spurs, a meeting of two sides that will feel hard done to have come away with no points in GW1. In other action Sunderland welcome in Norwich, a match that has everyone very (yawn) excited. Newcastle go to Wales for a match-up with a Swans team that took the game to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. We also see Watford watch the Baggies ride their broken down bus in, after suffering a proper beat down at the hands of the Citizens. The Hammers open their doors to a Leicester team that look really menacing on the attack and in the casino. James Vardy and best mate Okazaki will look to continue to strike fear into defences.

On Sunday we have two fixtures. Pardew will look to continue the good times rolling vs an Arsenal side that is 3 points behind their pace from last season. Strange that, considering they have Petr Cech and he should be worth 12-15 points, maybe it was less, not more? Moving on to the game of the week, well on paper at least. As the most impressive side of GW1, Man City, look for a statement of intent win when they face Jose and a Chelsea side that showed some vulnerabilities on defence.

Monday night sees the game-week come to a conclusion. As Bournemouth makes a trip to Merseyside. Will the Belgian beast get any service? Maybe, if he can convince Ritchie to switch sides before the game.

Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the fanteam.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.

Shit, I was set on using 2 FTs to get Aguero this week and WC next week, but I’m looking at a WC team now and it’s certainly tempting. I’ll post it shortly to hear your opinions.

Transfer done. Depay out – Yaya the Giant in. Wanted to get Silva, but didn’t want to take a hit for him and I’m not daring enough to take out Hazard.

The team looks tasty for next GW, Agüero an obvious captain.

What do you think about this team? I’m particularly interested in your thoughts on the keepers and the 3rd striker. Albrighton is my 5th midfielder, and Leicester have nice fixtures so I’ll have Mahrez for now and get rid of he loses his form. Also, I have 2 FTs, so is it worth wildcarding?

This is what I’m working with at the minute!

Tekkers – That’s a really strong team, but it does worry me that there’s no Chelsea in there even though they’ve sucked in preseason and in the 2 first gameweeks.

In the end you can’t really cover all teams and I think Silva looks much better than Hazard at the moment. Sanchez aswell.

The goalies: Man Utd surprisingly look really solid at the back, and Romero should be a good pick. Have you checked if DDG is coming back or not?

Wilson’s fixtures are pretty solid from GW4 to GW8 and I think he should be the best pick out of the 3 5.5’s. Deeney, Defoe, Wilson.

Thanks Ruben. Out of the top teams, I only have attacking cover from City and Arsenal, and I don’t like that. However, Aguero, Silva, and Sanchez are 3 of the absolute top fantasy players, and I can’t really see any other player – besides Hazard – competing with them. I’d rather have 3 City players than 1 City player, 1 United, and 1 Liverpool.

I’ve revised a bit; put in Fabianski, Darmian, and Gomez for Romero, Williams, and Muniesa.

Ozil to Payet tonight to beat price rise? Leaves me with two FT to bring in Sanchez…thoughts? Team’s linked.
