Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 2 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16
GW2 is live! This time we are treated to a rarity, a Friday night game. As the Villans welcome in the vaunted Man United attack. However the Red Devils will be missing a key player and we will see what LVG does to offset not having Kyle Walker on the pitch.
If a Friday game wasn’t enough, we are handed a lunch time game between Saints and Everton to kick off our Saturday. Hopefully both teams once again entertain us with goals and bad defending. And please bring on Naismith earlier, the non-Everton fans demand it. Our opening fixture is followed by five 3pm games. The Stokies visit Spurs, a meeting of two sides that will feel hard done to have come away with no points in GW1. In other action Sunderland welcome in Norwich, a match that has everyone very (yawn) excited. Newcastle go to Wales for a match-up with a Swans team that took the game to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. We also see Watford watch the Baggies ride their broken down bus in, after suffering a proper beat down at the hands of the Citizens. The Hammers open their doors to a Leicester team that look really menacing on the attack and in the casino. James Vardy and best mate Okazaki will look to continue to strike fear into defences.
On Sunday we have two fixtures. Pardew will look to continue the good times rolling vs an Arsenal side that is 3 points behind their pace from last season. Strange that, considering they have Petr Cech and he should be worth 12-15 points, maybe it was less, not more? Moving on to the game of the week, well on paper at least. As the most impressive side of GW1, Man City, look for a statement of intent win when they face Jose and a Chelsea side that showed some vulnerabilities on defence.
Monday night sees the game-week come to a conclusion. As Bournemouth makes a trip to Merseyside. Will the Belgian beast get any service? Maybe, if he can convince Ritchie to switch sides before the game.
Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the fanteam.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.

How I’m lining up for next week, no wildcard used and no points deducted!
I like this for a none WC squad!
Thanks a lot!
Already took -4 hit as didn’t want players prices to go high !
Removed Rooney for Aguero
Hazard to Sanchez
and Ozil to Ayew !
Mahrez the only player keeping me afloat at the moment.
See lots of WC’s being activated. Think i’ll hold off at the moment. Not good to panic. 2 FTs used though, Rooney and Hazard out for Aguero and YYT. Aguero is a no brainer over Rooney, and until Hazard shows some kind of form i’m gonna go with a player who’s doing the business in a team that’s doing the business. Also, 8.5 is ludicrously cheap, so have plenty cash left if needed for Hazard/Sanchez etc.
Anyone else taking Hazard out?
I already had Sterling so got Aguero for Rooney and Sanchez for Hazard !
Aguero!?!?!
Kun & Targett in for Benteke & Ivanovic? or Kun & * in for Rooney & Ivanovic?
* any defender for 6m or less*
I’m wild carding after GW4 so that’s why I’m willing to get Targett in for his next two games before Bertrand is supposed to be back. That too can be said for *, anyone reckon Kolarov is worth the risk to get in for the next two games?
To help my GKs: Ruddy / Mignolet. DFs: van Aan / Mings / Huth / Cedric
First post here…Love this community and thank many of you for your hard work. Like many, I am licking my wounds suffered in the first 2 GW’s… WC active.. Who’s the better ‘buy and hold’ player: Eriksen or Barkley?
Hi highaction
I’d prefer Chadli to Eriksen. Barkley’s fixtures aren’t great but he’s certainly one to watch at the very least. There are plenty of great options in midfield for that kind of price though and I’d rather have someone like Ayew or Payet in there.
Hey Bihom… Thanks for the reply.. I’ve got Ayew.. love Swansea next week.. trying to post my team here… any tips are welcome from the forum.
Nice looking team, I think 352 is a good choice, considering the lack of firing strikers at the moment.
I know Schlupp offers potential for attacking returns but I don’t think he’s worth the extra 0.5m over Morgan or Huth. I’d expect Fuchs to rotate with him as well, especially since the Ranieri the Tinkerman is manager.
Oxford and Targett are both short term options so it might be worth replacing at least one of them.
Thanks again Bihom..
Highaction,
Welcome aboard mate.
Based on the little i’ve seen so far this season, i’d say barkley for now. But expect Eriksen to just beat him over the season.
Is aguero likely to go up tonight?
I’d say he might rise tomorrow night!
Yes, if not definitely tomorrow!
Yes I would think so! Most likely 0.3m over this week
