Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 2 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16
GW2 is live! This time we are treated to a rarity, a Friday night game. As the Villans welcome in the vaunted Man United attack. However the Red Devils will be missing a key player and we will see what LVG does to offset not having Kyle Walker on the pitch.
If a Friday game wasn’t enough, we are handed a lunch time game between Saints and Everton to kick off our Saturday. Hopefully both teams once again entertain us with goals and bad defending. And please bring on Naismith earlier, the non-Everton fans demand it. Our opening fixture is followed by five 3pm games. The Stokies visit Spurs, a meeting of two sides that will feel hard done to have come away with no points in GW1. In other action Sunderland welcome in Norwich, a match that has everyone very (yawn) excited. Newcastle go to Wales for a match-up with a Swans team that took the game to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. We also see Watford watch the Baggies ride their broken down bus in, after suffering a proper beat down at the hands of the Citizens. The Hammers open their doors to a Leicester team that look really menacing on the attack and in the casino. James Vardy and best mate Okazaki will look to continue to strike fear into defences.
On Sunday we have two fixtures. Pardew will look to continue the good times rolling vs an Arsenal side that is 3 points behind their pace from last season. Strange that, considering they have Petr Cech and he should be worth 12-15 points, maybe it was less, not more? Moving on to the game of the week, well on paper at least. As the most impressive side of GW1, Man City, look for a statement of intent win when they face Jose and a Chelsea side that showed some vulnerabilities on defence.
Monday night sees the game-week come to a conclusion. As Bournemouth makes a trip to Merseyside. Will the Belgian beast get any service? Maybe, if he can convince Ritchie to switch sides before the game.
Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the fanteam.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for GW2 from all at FF247!
Updated WC team.
Would wait for Wilson’s performance tommorrow !
Quite skeptical towards who I should have as 3rd striker myself.
2 Leicster is a big big gamble. And your front line is a little weak.
Yeah, the front line is a bit weak, I know. Could always downgrade Sanchez to a 8.5 and upgrade Wilson.
You should play WC, drop Wilson, buy Fletcher for 5.0M, and then buy back Wilson tomorrow when his price goes down by 0.1M.
Unless, you do not care about 0.1M, then its okay.
Yeah, I’m mostly looking at getting in players that are rising right now, and hoping that they’ll rise twice. My current team is very different from the team I’ll end up having.
I wouldn’t double up on Leicester mids!
Kolarov might be a rotation risk. Apart from those team loons good.
+1
Albrighton is the 5th mid, so he’ll be on the bench. In the long run, I think it’s likely that I’ll sell Mahrez and Albrighton for Barkley and a 4.5, but I’m happy having them both as long as they perform. I would also suggest that Kolarov is first choice over Clichy now, and when he plays his returns are so good he’s worth it.
Tekno – God damn I’m getting jealous. This is fantastic, and a much better defense than your first WC team.
I wouldn’t worry about having no Pool or United attack, with how little creative they are right now. Both lucky to pick up 3 points in GW1 and United again lucky to pick up another 3 points in GW2.
FECK YEAH
I want to keep Ozil in my WC team over Sanchez.
Is it madness?
Depends. If the freed up funds allow you to upgrade somewhere else, it could be worth it.
According to fantasy fix kun is going up!!
All aboard!!!
Horrific start to the fantasy year.
I’m running two teams. One draft. One normal.
And I basically said to myself, I’ll base my team around the boys at ff247 for my normal team – get a good start and build from there…
We’re struggling fellas… haha
I guess it depends how you look at it, my current score is only 25 but I’ve got green arrows across the board and two to go this GW, I’m only mid table in the overall rankings but of the 1.3 million players above how many have played chips and such? 36 GW’s is a long way to go.
nice job andy people are playing that triple captain too early and after the dust settles I think you will be in a good spot
.
Good man!!
It was necessary.
Good boy.
Haha, I’m in too B. I look good on paper but my team is just stalled at the starting line. Guys, any suggestions on 2 halfway decent rotating budget defenders that don’t play for Villa or WBA? I’ve had Oxford in there since day 1, he could stay or go:
Guzan Myhill
Kompany Darmian Oxford ??? ???
Norwich and Stoke.
Thanks B.
Team in gw2:
Courtois (Schwarzer),
Darmian, Cedric,morgan, merty (Baker),
Hazard, Depay, Walcott,(Fletcher)(Wanyama)
Rooney, pelle, kane
Awful gameweek, thinking of getting rid of all my midfield and rooney after gw4, any help who to bring in?
