Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 2 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 36GW2 is live! This time we are treated to a rarity, a Friday night game. As the Villans welcome in the vaunted Man United attack. However the Red Devils will be missing a key player and we will see what LVG does to offset not having Kyle Walker on the pitch.

If a Friday game wasn’t enough, we are handed a lunch time game between Saints and Everton to kick off our Saturday. Hopefully both teams once again entertain us with goals and bad defending. And please bring on Naismith earlier, the non-Everton fans demand it. Our opening fixture is followed by five 3pm games. The Stokies visit Spurs, a meeting of two sides that will feel hard done to have come away with no points in GW1. In other action Sunderland welcome in Norwich, a match that has everyone very (yawn) excited. Newcastle go to Wales for a match-up with a Swans team that took the game to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. We also see Watford watch the Baggies ride their broken down bus in, after suffering a proper beat down at the hands of the Citizens. The Hammers open their doors to a Leicester team that look really menacing on the attack and in the casino. James Vardy and best mate Okazaki will look to continue to strike fear into defences.

On Sunday we have two fixtures. Pardew will look to continue the good times rolling vs an Arsenal side that is 3 points behind their pace from last season. Strange that, considering they have Petr Cech and he should be worth 12-15 points, maybe it was less, not more? Moving on to the game of the week, well on paper at least. As the most impressive side of GW1, Man City, look for a statement of intent win when they face Jose and a Chelsea side that showed some vulnerabilities on defence.

Monday night sees the game-week come to a conclusion. As Bournemouth makes a trip to Merseyside. Will the Belgian beast get any service? Maybe, if he can convince Ritchie to switch sides before the game.

Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the fanteam.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.

  1. A. -4 for Rooney to Kun
    B. WC this team?
    Sat at 2.7m

    • Why the hit what was your other transfer??

    • Shads + Melon, look at my team just above your two, think we are all in the same boat.Shads i fear Guzan, Ivan, Cedric, Jenkinson, Pell, Defoe, oh sod it use your wc. Melon, similar position, you have at least 8/9 that could possibly be changed so a wc for you also. Think if peeps reply to my team it’ll be the same, use your wc or get left behind.

      • I did Sterling to Payet and Benteke to Gomis
Was hoping to leave it at that but so far my only points have come from Defoe and Roon in GW1!
        WC to something like this…..?

  2. Wow what a 2 weeks for points ……. serious thought of wildcard this week…. or is it the 2 bottles of wine???

  3. Who would be better to have:
    Ayew or Gomis??

    • ayew

      • Right wel that leaves me with Walcott to Ayew and then Rooney to Ageuro. So should I just do this two transfers now or just the Wally to Ayew one? ?

        • I’d get Payet over Ayew!

        • Or is Wally,Defoe and Rooney to Mahrez ,Gomis and Kun better? ?

        • Rambo – if I do that then I won’t be able to get Kun.

  4. Good evening all.

I’ve taken Rooney out. I need to raise 2.5m for Kun. Any ideas?

    • Mane out

      • Mane to Redmond is an option.

      • Mane down to Mahrez might be good.
He’ll most probably go up again in price soon.

        • Admiral- Mahrez is 5.6 so not an option

Smithy – that’s a good choice maybe even Hoolihan or Brady.

        • Can’t get Mahrez he is 5.6m I’d be 0.1m short

  5. I’ve caved and played my wildcard! A combined total of 54 points over the 2 weeks so far, with Benteke still to play.
    Whats peoples opinion on this,
    Cazorla or Ozil,
    Gomis or Ayew

  6. In amongst all this chaos of bad starts and wildcards, please spare a thought for our dear friend and regular poster, Tekno. The poor bugger only just started supporting Chelsea again this morning.
Rumours are that he’s thinking of now switching to Man Utd after their 100% start. Although i expect him to be back to Man City again before Christmas.

    • That’s such a heartbreaking story chins. The life of a wandering fan is truly a hard one smile

    • haha awesome post… i was told as young boy , never change your stripes its not the done thing

    • Thank you for your thoughts, chins. It’s an especially difficult time for me as I became a diehard Barcelona fan after their treble last season, but after their trashing by Bilbao in the Super Cup I have now been forced to start supporting Bilbao instead. We all know that Bilbao won’t win anything in the long run though, so sooner rather than later I’ll be forced to switch to another Spanish team instead. Let’s just hope that whatever team that will be will perform well over time so I won’t have to go through the turmoil of switching teams yet again.

      Hope I’m in your hearts
      XoXo
      Tekno
