Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 2 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 36GW2 is live! This time we are treated to a rarity, a Friday night game. As the Villans welcome in the vaunted Man United attack. However the Red Devils will be missing a key player and we will see what LVG does to offset not having Kyle Walker on the pitch.

If a Friday game wasn’t enough, we are handed a lunch time game between Saints and Everton to kick off our Saturday. Hopefully both teams once again entertain us with goals and bad defending. And please bring on Naismith earlier, the non-Everton fans demand it. Our opening fixture is followed by five 3pm games. The Stokies visit Spurs, a meeting of two sides that will feel hard done to have come away with no points in GW1. In other action Sunderland welcome in Norwich, a match that has everyone very (yawn) excited. Newcastle go to Wales for a match-up with a Swans team that took the game to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. We also see Watford watch the Baggies ride their broken down bus in, after suffering a proper beat down at the hands of the Citizens. The Hammers open their doors to a Leicester team that look really menacing on the attack and in the casino. James Vardy and best mate Okazaki will look to continue to strike fear into defences.

On Sunday we have two fixtures. Pardew will look to continue the good times rolling vs an Arsenal side that is 3 points behind their pace from last season. Strange that, considering they have Petr Cech and he should be worth 12-15 points, maybe it was less, not more? Moving on to the game of the week, well on paper at least. As the most impressive side of GW1, Man City, look for a statement of intent win when they face Jose and a Chelsea side that showed some vulnerabilities on defence.

Monday night sees the game-week come to a conclusion. As Bournemouth makes a trip to Merseyside. Will the Belgian beast get any service? Maybe, if he can convince Ritchie to switch sides before the game.

Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the fanteam.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.

Hi guys. I’ve got 2FT and 0.5 in the bank. Was thinking Sterling-Mahrez and Rooney-Aguero. I’d still have 1.4 left over.

Any other idea’s or should I confirm now?

Hmm lots of Wild Card action!!! That’s usually my way!
Think i might scrape through with this and swap Rooney for Aguero next week? Thoughts? smile

Kun looked so freaking good and fresh that I got him now instead of next week (which was the plan). Kun could’ve scored 2 hatty’s today, he was freaking super sharp. The goalie of Chelsea kept them in the race.

If you can cope with kun’s price rise this week and probably a price fall for Rooney.sounds good.went for the wc this week as prices seems to be jumping from the lots of wc’s getting played.

    WC time.

What do you guys think about this team? Will City continue with Kolarov? Other thougts?

    Cheers. smile

      Albinz,

Great attack, but I think a WC requires pretty much locked on starters, plus the hot prospects. I have my doubts about Romero (LVG can’t be trusted), Kolarov is pretty much guaranteed rotation (and you don’t need 3 MC, as good as they looked today), Plus, Targett and Oxford may be short-term punts.
Maybe some nailed-on 4.5 defenders, and another keeper rotation?

    How’s Ramsey been?

So 50 pts after 2 gameweeks is not what I was expecting considering I had about 140 at the same point last year!

Ahh well, at least the next few gameweeks should bring green arrows (I thought the same this week though and that didn’t happen…)

Anyways, as much as I want to wildcard now I feel it would just be chasing points and momentum could shift so easily I need to make the decisions with a clear head. So I’m sticking with it this week with the likely possibilty of a WC next week so my two transfers would be purely for GW 3 and im thinking:

Cazorla -> Cabaye (Villa at home, Palace looking bright)
Wilson -> Gomis (Sunderland away, surely Sunderland will be useless again)

    Thoughts on the plan?

It cant get any worse can it…

Sounds good Mr.Bean, Wilson dropping tonight be careful if team value is tight.Cazorla has a good record v Liverpool.might be 50/50 between him and Ramsey.

    • 317.2

I agree on the Caz thing, maybe not for Cabaye because of fixtures, but if that is your hunch, I won’t try and change it.

Wilson has great fixtures after Liverpool. Thought he looked good in GW, was just a bit unlucky. However hard to deny how Gomis has done.

      I guess I agree to a degree. 😉

      • Mr Bean says:

        Mito,

It is more than likely going to be a 1 week transfer before I WC next week so i’m just looking at next weeks fixtures for it.

Feel like I need to change the team around quite a bit, Aguero and Silva, budget midfielders, stronger defence etc…

        • Well shite! Sorry mate, if I paid more attention I would have noticed the WC comment. I think you got that one pegged right then. Only other 1 week play would have been a West Ham player, but Payet won’t leave you enough dough left over I am guessing.

          Sounds good Mr. Bean

    EBC says:

    Aguero in for Rooney
    Mahrez in for Adam

Maybe Toure in this week as well but might give that another week unless price changes take over.

    How does that sound?

      1 of 7 says:

Sounds fine, you are bringing in two form players for 2 who haven’t shown much yet.Mahrez probably won’t score 3 weeks running but his price is shooting up,so if he slows down, you will make money on him and a transfer can sort anything out.

      • EBC says:

I really like Mahrez. He was the one player who stood out for me last season.

Unfortunately I didn’t trust Ranieri enough to pick him from the start. Ah well, can fix that now.
