Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 2 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 36GW2 is live! This time we are treated to a rarity, a Friday night game. As the Villans welcome in the vaunted Man United attack. However the Red Devils will be missing a key player and we will see what LVG does to offset not having Kyle Walker on the pitch.

If a Friday game wasn’t enough, we are handed a lunch time game between Saints and Everton to kick off our Saturday. Hopefully both teams once again entertain us with goals and bad defending. And please bring on Naismith earlier, the non-Everton fans demand it. Our opening fixture is followed by five 3pm games. The Stokies visit Spurs, a meeting of two sides that will feel hard done to have come away with no points in GW1. In other action Sunderland welcome in Norwich, a match that has everyone very (yawn) excited. Newcastle go to Wales for a match-up with a Swans team that took the game to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. We also see Watford watch the Baggies ride their broken down bus in, after suffering a proper beat down at the hands of the Citizens. The Hammers open their doors to a Leicester team that look really menacing on the attack and in the casino. James Vardy and best mate Okazaki will look to continue to strike fear into defences.

On Sunday we have two fixtures. Pardew will look to continue the good times rolling vs an Arsenal side that is 3 points behind their pace from last season. Strange that, considering they have Petr Cech and he should be worth 12-15 points, maybe it was less, not more? Moving on to the game of the week, well on paper at least. As the most impressive side of GW1, Man City, look for a statement of intent win when they face Jose and a Chelsea side that showed some vulnerabilities on defence.

Monday night sees the game-week come to a conclusion. As Bournemouth makes a trip to Merseyside. Will the Belgian beast get any service? Maybe, if he can convince Ritchie to switch sides before the game.

Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the fanteam.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.

The Friday Surprise…

Aston Villa v Man Utd. 7:45pm

Saturday in full…

Southampton v Everton 12:45pm

Spurs v Stoke 3pm

Sunderland v Norwich 3pm

Swans v Newcastle 3pm

Watford v West Brom 3pm

    Morning folks!
Oh dear, 22 points with Mahrez on the bench with 10 points.

Not sure what to do. Silva is looking great, worth doubling up with Silva and Sterling this week and dropping Hazard?
I could alternatively downgrade Milner and upgrade Sterling.

Also thinking of Darmain in for Mertesacker..

What a crappy week. Said I’d leave points on the bench, didn’t realise how many it would be and the proportion in comparison to the rest of my team!

That’s unlucky. I assume you’ll be playing Mahrez this week though?

As you never mentioned it, I’ll assume you want to keep Rooney? But I’d be getting Aguero in for at least GW4 at the latest if I were you. You could do Rooney to Aguero and Hazard down to Payet/Montero/Ayew – lots of options around that price.

      • AT says:

        GP, I don’t know.
I just had a look at FFF and it looks like Aguero is on the rise tonight..

I could go Haz to Albrighton and Sakho to Aguero but that would screw Sterling to Silva..

      • AT says:

Or I could do Sterling and Rooney out for Montero and Aguero?
Don’t want to ditch Rooney but Aguero looked very good.

Maybe Hazard and Rooney out for Depay/Mata and Aguero +0.5m?

      NIN says:

AT – Aguero should be top priority, for me. He’s clearly fit and firing.

      • AT says:

        That’s my worry, NIN.

My main dilemma is this: is Hazard worth holding on to?

        Options:
        1. Rooney + Haz -> Aguero + Depay/Mata + 0.5m
        2. Rooney + Sterling -> Aguero + Montero + 0.5m
        3. Rooney + Milner -> Aguero + e.g. Anya (and play Mahrez and Sakho weekly)

I could alternatively get rid of Hazard and Sakho for Aguero and a 5m but not sure about that.

        • Raziel says:

Wouldn’t touch United, even though they are playing Newcastle. They haven’t shown any attacking prowess. I got rid of Rooney and Wally myself for Kun and Mahrez (point wise I think Mahrez will do better than Montero, Ayew/Gomis and even Siggy will run away with most point at that team).

        • NIN says:

I’d keep Hazard&Sterling and lose one of Milner/Ozil, myself.

        • Raziel says:

Also, I’m keeping Hazard since I have the feeling that Chelsea will come back with a wrath. They’re gonna boss the next few games, they have to.

        • AT says:

Argh, I don’t know what to do because Sterling has looked pretty poor and now Aguero is back he will play out wide for sure.

Genuinely considering a point hit for Darmian/Montero/Aguero (Mert/Sterling/Rooney)

        • Raziel says:

Utter BS, Sterling looked pure class yesterday. It’s a bit annoying Yaya and Silva are way more central than he is. Anyway, he’ll get his fair share of assists/goals soon enough. Silva is looking for him, just have to wait for the right pass. Yesterday Sterling looked very good, Silva/Kun/Yaya looked from another planet though. Shrugs, Sterling can only get better and he will get his goals/assists. Maybe they can teach him some proper finishing at City. 😉

        • AT says:

Raz, he was hardly on a par with Silva though and if it means I can get Aguero in by dropping him then so be it.
Sterling will do well this season but he won’t come close to a fit Aguero so he takes priority for me.

        • AT says:

Maybe it’s my reluctance to drop Hazard making me think that..
I want Montero so I may drop Hazard for him..
Would leave me almost £3m in the bank though..

      • NIN

Couldn’t agree more. I took the plunge last night.

    Aaron102 says:

I am on the verge of doing my wildcard. Sterling is useless, even kolarov comes closer to the box than him, yaya toure and Silva are on fire so I need one of them. Rooney is not doing well so I want aguero. Chamberlain is now going to be benched because of Sanchez’ return so I could get montero. And cech is not satisfying me one bit. Wildcard or am I over exaggerating?!

    Raziel says:

Awesome team I have. I have Sterling, Mane, Walcott, Coates dropping. HAHAHA! And yes, one of them dropping costs me a lot of blood, sweat and tears to get back. On that note. I f-ing like my team. So FU cruel world. :finger: Gimme some Bentekers luck tonight. Bentekers hatty.

      Raziel says:

People dropping Mane are just idiots by the way. The really haven’t seen the games. Mane is super unlucky not to be on a sheet, he could’ve been on a monster haul even. *sighs*

For me Mane is a must. F-ing shit he’ll drop in price. I think if fit I keep him regardless. Will come good and his price will go through the roof.

      • Aaron102 says:

What do you think about pelle?

        • Raziel says:

Pelle could run away with a lot of points because of his headers. Last game Mane could’ve outscored Pelle by +10 though, first game Mane also really should’ve scored at least twice. Bad luck. But the fact he gets there, infront of the goalie, tells me enough. Last season he also scored a hatty (I think), so it’s not like he can’t score.

Who should I transfer out out of Fabregas, Ramsey and Sterling to gain the funds to do Rooney->Aguero? I also have Hazard but I’m thinking of keeping him. Thoughts?
