Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 2 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 36GW2 is live! This time we are treated to a rarity, a Friday night game. As the Villans welcome in the vaunted Man United attack. However the Red Devils will be missing a key player and we will see what LVG does to offset not having Kyle Walker on the pitch.

If a Friday game wasn’t enough, we are handed a lunch time game between Saints and Everton to kick off our Saturday. Hopefully both teams once again entertain us with goals and bad defending. And please bring on Naismith earlier, the non-Everton fans demand it. Our opening fixture is followed by five 3pm games. The Stokies visit Spurs, a meeting of two sides that will feel hard done to have come away with no points in GW1. In other action Sunderland welcome in Norwich, a match that has everyone very (yawn) excited. Newcastle go to Wales for a match-up with a Swans team that took the game to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. We also see Watford watch the Baggies ride their broken down bus in, after suffering a proper beat down at the hands of the Citizens. The Hammers open their doors to a Leicester team that look really menacing on the attack and in the casino. James Vardy and best mate Okazaki will look to continue to strike fear into defences.

On Sunday we have two fixtures. Pardew will look to continue the good times rolling vs an Arsenal side that is 3 points behind their pace from last season. Strange that, considering they have Petr Cech and he should be worth 12-15 points, maybe it was less, not more? Moving on to the game of the week, well on paper at least. As the most impressive side of GW1, Man City, look for a statement of intent win when they face Jose and a Chelsea side that showed some vulnerabilities on defence.

Monday night sees the game-week come to a conclusion. As Bournemouth makes a trip to Merseyside. Will the Belgian beast get any service? Maybe, if he can convince Ritchie to switch sides before the game.

Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the fanteam.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.

Guys kinda new out here so need ur help.On a Wildcard.
    Shaw Alderweireld Richards Williams Oxford
Haz(currently silva assuming haz will drop) Mahrez Mata Chadli Ozil
    Aguero Gomis Defoe/wilson(5.5 fw)
Hav 9.5 itb for the keepers.Whats ur opinion on the team and whether i should go with 1 premium keeper(hart/courtois and 4.0 gk)or two 4.5 Gks???

A good cheap keeper is butland, he didnt play for them last year but defensively they got quite a lot of clean sheets last season. Oh sorry he played like 280 minutes or something last season and got 3 clean sheets at the end of last season.

I would choose sanchez over ozil, he might not have scored against CrystalP, but he was all over it. He is the key to every arsenal attack and scores more then a lot of strikers.
If Wilson doesnt score tonight I would move him out. Another cheap alternative is vardy

      • Ezekial says:

Luke surely would hav got sanchez if i had funds.Have to downgrade to be able to afford sanchez bt who??.And dnt think its a good idea to double up on the foxes attack.they surely can’t continue this run

I see everyone has Mahrez and redmond, am I stupid to have albrighton and hoolahan? My thinking is, their form is comparable to the first two. And one of mahrezs goals was a penatly so I dont count that TBH. And well if im right it will pay off, I have the chance to go ahead not stay equal to others. Anyway thats my tactic

    Afternoon/evening all!!

On a WC at the moment (feels good to be honest)

Anything I need to tweak (yes I’m tripling on man city)

      lukealike says:

dont triple on city lol or if you do at least put one in defence. Lose toure, and if you really want 3 then get kompany or something. There form will drop eventually then your stuck with 3 of them. No way you need 2 in mid, and silva is the far better choice, if aguero was injured then I would consider toure. But not when aguero is back. Thats my 2 cents anyway

depending on spurs fixtures which I have not checked, I would recommend chadli as a replacement for toure. But I am a spurs fan 😛

      The B says:

Some managers will not like this team because of triple City attack, and even I am a kind of a man who prefers one attacker per team, but considering the fact that City has the most reliable attackers in the first two GWs, this triple combo could actually work wonders for you.

      • Mitro says:

B and luke – usually I would agree with everyone about having 3 players from one team but I have been truly impressed with what I have saw!! YYT & silva look brilliant!! Kun did look a bit rusty yesterday and it only took his 5th shot to score his goal!! I have a feeling they will be scoring a lot of goals over the next few weeks!!

        • lukealike says:

if everton can defend its going to be a bad gameweek. But worth a gamble I guess, I just wont take it

      • lukealike says:

your right maybe this could be genius lol. I still stick to my comment but I give the odds are of your comment happening 3/1, I like those odds

      Hi Mitro

I get the 3 City. I’d consider an Arsenal mid over Toure but not a major issue for me.

have more issue with some others smile

I’d find the extra 0.3 for Courtois – how about Watmore for Kone as bench fodder?

I think Oxford is done too tbh with Obiang now playing. I also think Palace has 3 tough fixtures coming up.

    TJ says:

Mignolet; Clyne, Škrtel, Lovren, Gomez; Henderson, Milner; Ibe, Coutinho, Lallana; Benteke.

Boruc, Francis, Elphick, Cook, Daniels, Ritchie, O’Kane, Surman, Gradel, King, Wilson.

    TJ says:

Horrible dip in rankings yesterday, need a big day today. Ideally a Clyne clean sheet, and a Benteke goal or 2.

Fun fact: Gareth Barry has scored more points than Ivanovic and Hazard combined so far this season.
