Evening all. Did anyone watch the Chelsea game? I have never seen a defender have so many shots on goal, Ivanovic was brilliant. Also good to see United finally making moves in transfers (jealous tho) di Maria will be too expensive for me but will add to Rooneys value with his assists

Plan was to do Chambers -> Clyne tonight and Sturridge -> Aguero for a hit, but with Soton playing away to a West Ham that scored 3 goals today I don’t think that’s worth -4. I reckon I’ll WC after GW 3 to get in Ivan, Fab, and Sterling amongst others, which makes the hit even more unnecessary.
I just want some thoughts on this, because if I’ll do Chambers -> Clyne I’ll have to do it tonight.
Considering a move for Janmaat myself. He has a homegame and looked much better than Clyne today. One of the most positive performances I saw all day and the best man in the Newcastle game.
Yeah he looked good Raz, but no way I’ll pay 5.0 for Mr. Janmaat when Mr. Dummett who costs 4.0 is playing on the other side.
I know, was thinking the same. Replacing Baird with Dummett. Don’t see the point in having Clyne as he was today. And I wanted him all week.
Aaah yes, Janmaat could’ve scored a few goals and had chances on assists plus took corners. Which in the end makes him more interesting than Dummet whom will make place for Santon when he returns.

If your going to be WC after GW 3 what’s the hurry in bringing in a defender with a risky early transfer? I’d probably pick up a Villa defender for the one GW before you WC as they’ve looked sound at the back so far and Hull will have played another 2 games by then as their back in Europa action midweek, obviously ditch the Villa defender when you WC though.

How did Saints look today? Were they solid at the back or just WBA being pants up front? Considering defensive cover options, though pretty happy with my current lineup in all honesty.

Saint looked good in attack, Tadic was again magical, but the team lacked killer instinct to finish off the game. It was that time where I was missing JRod and Lallana in the team who could have done the job against WB.
Honestly, the backline was not tested much, but cleanie potential is huge due to fixtures.
the B- doubt you’ll see this now, but thanks for the tips. I’m actually thinking of Forster in for Begovic. I’ve only got one playing keeper, and he’s against City next week. I’m actually quite happy currently with my defensive line: need to give this more thought, but Saints are definitely on my radar.
