Are people waiting until after the mid-week games until they make their transfers?

      NIN says:

webstar87 – I have no planned transfers but yeah, after Monday nights game at the earliest i’d imagine. Play it safe unless price rises are totally fecking up your plans.

I am, even without the mid week games I’m wary of signing people too early as anything can happen in a week. Probably look into possible transfer action next Friday night or Saturday morning.

    2FT Any ideas?

    Thanks

      NIN says:

Rip – How about Bruce >> Dummet? It’d give a decent rotation with O’Shea. I’d probably do that move and keep the other FT.

      • Ripcurl82 says:

Thanks I have been Thinking Bruce – Hutton or Lovren – Clyne but the Liverpool fixtures improve from GW4

I could use one for Mata – Sterling but see how they go first

Also another idea is Bojan – Naismith. Cahill – Ivanovic

Thoughts on Mutch? Might bench Bojan and get WP

        • NIN says:

Rip – I’ve got Mutch myself mate. Disappointed he blanked last week but i think he’ll come good mate. Sunderland (h) next week is a good fixture.

Mata’s performance against Sunderland will give you a good idea about using your FTs, but what NIN suggested is a good idea.

    Ok peepz, my team:
    DDG – Gilks
    Pieters – Chambers – Terry – Hutton – Baird
    Fabregas – Mata – Ramsey – Siggy – Albirghton
Rooney – Costa – PELLE (FFS)

0,5m in the bank and 1 FT

Pelle will score points sooner than later but if I have to be patient, he needs to get a ball in his feet first. He hasn’t had 1 clear f-ing chance yet.

Anyway, was thinking of replacing Chambers with Clyne or Baird with Dummet.

      NIN says:

Raz – I watched the 2nd half of the Southampton game today, this Pelle guy is so out of his depth it’s unreal. He cost them a goal by f*****g around when he had three players to pass to and was generally useless. He even looked stressed out! I’d sell him mate. He’s not a good player.

      • Raziel says:

Mehehe, brought him in for Jovetic yesterday… haha. It hurts so much. Felt so useless today. Was a real poor performance by him. Though, in all honesty. In order for him to perform he needs to get balls. He didn’t involve himself in the game at all, he was just in the box and nothing was getting there. Sighs, same happened with Bony last season though. Just praying he will come good. 😉

        • NIN says:

Exactly mate, he doesn’t know what’s happening around him. I get the impression that if it’s not put on a plate for him, then he’ll never score. Even on set pieces he was weak. I suppose you could get away with it for another week but if he performs like that again then he has to go. £7.5m is a lot for him.

        • Raziel says:

I know, but for the time being I’ll have to keep him. Sighs. Was a risk and I knew it was possible this could happen. He actually didn’t look all that bad last week. Anyway, hope he gets used to the EPL F-ing fast. If he does find his confidence he can score with ease. From what I’ve seen he hasn’t gotten 1 good pass yet. Also, he’s all alone in the box, when Tadic puts in a ball he has 3 big defenders surrounding him. If a second player is in the box that would be 1 or 2 defenders.

        • NIN says:

I do hope he gets some goals Raz. A few on here have him so it’d be good to see some returns. You’re dead on re being all alone. He should be able to handle that though. Shame J.Rod is injured as he’d likely help him out a lot.

Right, time for MOTD now so i’m logging off for a bit. Catch ya later buddy.

Tax ( that’s what your name changes to so be it)

Depends on tactics – if it’s ” don’t care re bench”, then u replace Chambers. Newcastle or Swansea could be worth a look.

      The B says:

Stay patient and see how Mata does first. You might need to do Mata>Sterling because Liverpool’s fixtures are now getting better from GW3/4.

      • Raziel says:

For some reason I don’t think my Chelsea/United coverage will need much change. United are at a huge advantage once the CL starts.

And if they do manage to get Khedira/Di Maria they’ll be good.

Ps. Mata las week really wasn’t all that poor

      Raz,
Swans and Magpies defence are looking good for their upcoming fixtures:
Taylor and Collo are both at 4.5 mil, Dummet at 4 mil, they all look good!

First time in 6 years of Fantasy Football that all of my defenders have grabbed clean sheets in the same gameweek…not a bad gameweek at all!
