Bigz – Totalfpl has a serious glitch at the moment. I reckon they’re adjusting to the BPS changes in FPL, hopefully they’re back in business tomorrow. I don’t know where Debuchy was at % wise so i cant say whether he’ll drop or not. If it were me, i’d leave it until tomorrow and hope for the best.

Biggy – If things should go belly up and Debuchy drops/Terry rises then at least there’s Azpilicueta to fall back on. If Azpi was £6.5m then i’d bring in Terry tonight, but he’s not, so i wouldn’t

He’s playing a blinder so far. Good point though, Luis will need to see game time at some stage. At least we now know that Azpilicueta is the favored choice, which is something.

Chelsea could get a clean sheet against anyone but away to Everton doesn’t seem like the most logical time to bring in Terry.

Anyone. The way Jose plays against the big teams (particularly away) I wouldn’t rule it out.
It’s one of the reasons I transferred out Terry. I wouldn’t want to bench him away to City or Everton but I would and the chances are they’d play for a 0-0 while conceding the following week against Burnley.
Out of the two I’d go for Terry for goal threat and bonus points.

Morning all, 54 points with RVP, Sterling and De Gea to play, hoping for an RVP starting berth! This is my squad for next week, gonna leave JT on the bench for this one, just think the other defenders have more chance of clean sheets. Thoughts? Hope everyone is doing ok and not wasting their WC’s like i did! 😉

43 (-8) with 5 to come. Taylor was on the bench but I’m not too concerned, hopefully I’ll pick up value from him. It was always a coin toss between him and Chester, I was impressed with Burnley last week so left him out.
Decent enough team. I don’t rate Lamela (yet), Zamora and Chambers but there’s nothing pressing. If Sterling goes nuts on Monday then I may be tempted to do Terry & Lamela to Jones & Sterling but other than that or anything else drastic then I’d keep the sub for post internationals.

Actually, I’d play Chambers over Terry. Wenger might bring him on as a sub but he’s more likely to play 90 mins or not at all.

yeah, I’ll keep an eye on how the press conferences etc go re Chambers. O’Shea is perhaps also more likely to keep a CS than Terry. Thanks man. Zamora will never play for me, the rest of the front 7 are strong enough for now, and all performing (with sole exception of Lamela and Mata, who I’ll reassess tomorrow, but who have great fixtures)

Splendid start, Pippin! I’m not a fan of cheap non-playing substitutes, but I guess you should stick with that approach for as long as it’s working and then maybe switch to a more balanced squad when you play your first WC.
