Austin has been the worst decision!

The guys scored 0 points in two GWs, missed penalty in first and failed to feature in GW2 (not even on bench)

Any news about him? Is he dead?

Considering a swap to Jelly now.

So true, Bego is a liability at 5M.

      • Raziel says:

Ok Bego assist and Pieters goal? 😛

        Could save us. laugh

On a serious note… playing against 10 men and not having any shots on target is sort of pathetic, Chester was off after 15 minutes.

        • The B says:

I know. Perfect time for Bojan to open his account now.

Any idea why Austin is not even on the bench for QPR?
Currently thinking on your advice over bringing in Janmaat. laugh

        • Raziel says:

That’s a hard one. I’m considering that move myself but seeing Dummett as leftback at only 4m makes that choice harder (he could replace Baird as my fifth defender). On that note, if no CS players like Janmaat, Coleman, van Aanholt, Pieters, Ivanovic, Evra (not in EPL anymore I know) can force an assist/goal which could save you some points.

I do notice Dutch backs tend to do well attacking wise in the epl. Even Buttner managed to score goals and assist, he sucked at defending though. 😛

In the Dutch league what players tend to focus on is attacking football, not so much defending. Look at Stoke, a few years back it was concentrating on keeping cleansheets, the fans hated it so they changed styles and now everybody can score against them.

    Afternoon,
I’m not familiar with the rules on red carded players. If Hull get a clean sheet, does Chester get Clean Sheet points? No right? The only reason im asking is because i remember reading that a red carded player still loses points for goals conceded after he’s sent off, so wondering if it works the other way

      Veer says:

This is what it says on the website, not entirely sure still:
      Clean sheets

A clean sheet is awarded for not conceding a goal whilst on the pitch and playing at least 60 minutes.

If a player has been substituted when a goal is conceded this will not affect any clean sheet bonus.

      Red Cards

If a player receives a red card, they will continue to be penalised for goals conceded by their team.

Red card deductions include any points deducted for yellow cards

      Silverback says:

Veer You only get 6 points if you are on pitch after 60 mins & a clean sht

      Raziel says:

What do you think? Lol. Minus 3 for red card, he had 1 point so he’ll end up with -2. If someone gets subbed off injured after 15 minutes he won’t get a clean sheet. If he gets subbed off after 60 minutes and there is a CS for them, he does receive the CS points.

I actually don’t know if you lose the CS when you’re red carded after 60 minute and the score is/was still 0-0. Anyone know?

      Veer says:

Sorry guys I feel pretty stupid after asking that 😉 I just got confused because I saw they lose points for goals conceded after they’re sent off

      Raziel says:

Owww dear, poor Veer. You were the guy bringing in Chester and Fabregas for a hit. Poor geezer, next time listen mate. 😉

      • Veer says:

yep, lets all pick on the 14 year old 😉
I kept asking people for advice for most of last season, then I was told to man up and make my own decisions 😉

        • Raziel says:

Well, I told you. But you wouldn’t listen. On that note. Hull with 10 men actually looking better than Stoke with 11. So Chester wasn’t even that bad of a shout.
