Bojan has been Stokes best player since he came on, linking play well and putting some good crosses in. Seems to be playing very deep though…

Bit of a disaster today. Bojan plays only 50 mins and gets a yellow…pain

This 0.1m extra for Dier is so troll I can’t straight swap him…

      Burnsy,

That’s the nature of the game – need to find your funds elsewhere mate.

      • I knew spurs would be solid this year but I didn’t act on it.

It’s all swings and roundabouts haha.

        • Burnsy,

Classic example today – two players lots rushed for after GW1 – Dier or Chester.

          Polar opposites.

        • Yeah aha, can you give your opinion on this GP?

Huth to dummet/Robertson – this week

Eriksen to sterling – next week

        • Burnsy,

I like Eriksen (and have both he and Sterling) and if I could only have one I’d make it Sterling.

Huth needs replaced definitely and the tow you have selected there are good choices. I see Robertson maybe being slightly more secure in his team but Newcastle have kinder short-term fixtures. I’d go Dummett and cross your fingers he plays well to hold on to his place once Haidara and Santon is back to challenge him.

        • RedVT says:

Hey Gallant, are you planning on sticking with Eriksen? I have him as well and while he certainly could have scored some points today if luck was on his side, I’m wondering if Lamella is going to cut into his scoring opportunities over the course of the season.

The more I see of him the more Lamella’s looking like a selfish player to me in the Mirallas of Everton mold, and I’m wondering how his ‘all for me’ attitude will affect Eriksen’s scoring chances in open play.

        • Hi Red,

My plan is to give Eriksen until the Arsenal game (GW6) and my bigger plan is to have enough funds to upgrade him then to Silva when Man City’s fixtures are very favourable

I would be wasting a transfer to bring in Lamela for Eriksen and will hold my nerve on this one. Eriksen is a class act and from following the commentary today, I see he hit the bar with a direct free-kick in the first half. Lamela’s day today but still think they will score roughly the same over a longer period.

        • RedVT says:

Right on, thanks Gallant. I’m definitely not thinking of swapping Eriksen for Lamella, just wondering if Eriksen’s points from open play might dry up a bit. Thanks for the reply, I’m going to keep the faith with him and see what happens over the next couple of weeks. He did look pretty good today actually, he just needed a bit of luck.
