Excellent goal for Mata and a deserving reward for the people who hung onto him. I only have Rooney for United coverage, but I definitely wouldn’t have dropped Mata after only one match.

Disagree – I sold him last week and glad I did. I picked up Siggy for 3mln less and that cash will go a long way this season.
I figured Siggy was too good value at 6mln, compared to Mata at 9mln. Sure Mata has outscored Siggy this week, but it was a decision with the next few weeks in mind, not just one week.
Also, watching United they looked lethargic as they have today, hardly playing to Mata’s strengths, thus it don’t look at it as a bad transfer at all,
Though I can understand those Mata owners sniggering today, but we shall see.
