Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 20 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match ChatGW20 is live! And we are off, The Hammers take on Liverpool in a lunch time kickoff. Not sure what to expect from this one, after West ham ruined their perfect run of 5 straight games with a draw when they mistakenly beat Southampton on Monday. Three o’clock brings us six juicy fixtures. Chumpions-to-be Arsenal take on pushovers Newcastle, Leicester try to continue the magic carpet ride with Mahrez at the helm when they tackle The Cherries. Man United will look to continue their run of boring going, when they tangle with a perfect dance partner in Swansea, Zzzz. Norwich face off against a peculiar Saints side. Southampton has one win in their last seven and naturally they mauled Arsenal for that one. West Brom will look to contain the all of sudden potent Stoke attack and in other action or lack thereof we see a clueless Sunderland take on the dumbfounded Villa. In the last fixture of the day, Watford and City tangle and what most will hope turns into a shootout. Personally, I beg of you Ighalo, STOP SCORING!!!

Sunday sees two fixtures. The tough Palace defence looks to keep another clean sheet versus Chelsea and free scoring Everton battle it out with third place Spurs and what will be a duel between Lukaku and Kane.

If I’m going to give Vardy the chop, who would you suggest replacing him with?
Kane, Ighalo, perhaps a punt on Martial?
I could alternatively shift to a 3-5-2 and bring in Willian or Payet.

Already have Alli and Walker for Spurs and Cresswell for West Ham.
    None from the others.

    Thanks in advance.
Luckily won’t lose value for the first Vardy drop.

Also, quick question, will Smith keep his place with Elphick returning?

Magical GW has just past for everyone it seems…
Recorded a record high of 42 points (bladdy Evans sitting on my bench sad )
    Won my Cup 42-40 though!!!!
Anyway I know Im not meant to do transfers now… wait til the Cups are done next week, so playing with ideas….
    Cech McCarthy
    Wollschield Evans Morgan Smalling Ward
    Ozil KdB Mahrez Coutinho Westwood
    Aguero Ighalo Lukaku
    2FT and 1.8m itb

Thinking of Morgan, Coutinho and Westwood out for Cresswell, Payet and Alli for a 4PH (would leave me currently with 0.2m itb – hence considering doing it all for a hit)

    Thoughts?

My bench scored -2 this week, and I faced teams with bloody Martial in them in two of my H2H matches, but on the whole it’s been a decent gameweek…

Was just starting to get into the swing of FPL this winter! Bit of a long break now.

Has anyone made any early moves yet?

      James,
      Debating it currently actually… yourself?
To be fair with the Cup happening next week its risky…

      • jamesimmo says:

        Always tempting isn’t it…

Your proposed moves look pretty good to me mate, although Alli will give you a selection headache before most gameweeks, still better than relying on Westwood I guess.

I have actually! Feels both good and bad… left me with 0.0m so had to be done unfortunately.

        My front 7 is now:

        Payet / KdB / Mahrez / Ozil
        Aguero / Kane / Lukaku

…hopefully it was worth the risk!

        • PeterPan says:

          James,
I try to avoid having 8 attacking starters for that reason! HEADACHE!!!

I really like your front 7, but I have Ighalo – he is just too good currently to ignore and the left over money helps.

Maybe I should just do Payet and Cresswell now and monitor Alli’s price…?

        • jamesimmo says:

Don’t get me started on Ighalo haha!

Avoid making any moves now if possible – but yeah if not then that sounds reasonable – maybe don’t bother with the Alli transfer at all if it’s for a hit?

        • PeterPan says:

Looked at FFF now and seems Alli is going out tonight…
Maybe Westwood out for Alli now and then monitor Cresswell and Payet?

        • PeterPan says:

          Cancel that…
          Will rather sleep on it

        • jamesimmo says:

Sounds like a plan. Hits don’t usually seem to be paying off in today’s FPL climate…
