I am thinking Bony – Kane
    Chambers – Bertrand

I am wanting to save the WC as long as I can but want to gain team value!

    I don’t mind a hit either

    Thanks

Anyone looked at ff fix tonight?

Price predictor going crazy with all the wild card action

Tricky for them because WC transfers don’t count to price changes do they?

      • hammers says:

Didn’t realise that. Shouldn’t panic that most of my team are predicted to drop tonight or tomorrow then.

      • HL [Dr. Hannibal Lecter] says:

        They do count !
That’s the whole point of it 😉 !

      • Can’t say I ever heard of a rule stating that wildcard transfers don’t count to price changes. That’s why there’s always a lot of price changes during weeks when many people WC.

        • AT says:

Swear they said something like that when everyone used the first one around GW3 but I don’t know anymore, don’t take my word for it!

        • AT says:

Found it in the FFF price change article on this website posted Oct. 23rd:

‘The biggest difficulty however, and a common source of confusion, is that Wildcard transfers do not count towards the transfer balance. If you keep track of the number of price changes during international break, for example, when many Wildcards are played and there are many transfers, there are surprisingly few price changes. The upshot is you have to predict how many of the transfers have been made by Wildcards as these aren’t classified as a ‘transfer’, and won’t count towards increasing a player’s value.’

        • Hmmm, that sounds weird. Don’t really trust it. Seems like there’s always a lot of price changes during WC weeks to me.

Just writing what I read on this site. I would imagine it is true if this site posted it though.

Happy New Year folks! Pretty meh GW this week. Anyway, does anyone know for sure when Yaya, Sakho, and Bony are off to the African Nation’s Cup? Chadli, Kane and Costa to come in, me thinks. Thoughts?

    Hart
Azpi (shud have f’n scored today) / Naylor / Hutton / Dummett / Bruce
    Yaya / Silva / Hazard / Fab / Sanchez
    Austin / Bony / Sakho

    Hey guys,

Gutted I still don’t have Kane. Took him out for Austin after the Arsenal v QPR match and since then Austin has done nothing and we all know what Kane has managed. So, my question is – do I hold on to Austin or bring Kane back before the latter’s price rises tonight? Austin is away at Burnley next, whilst Kane is away at Palace.

    Cheers!

Swirly: this. I did exactly the same: since then Austin’s got 4 points and Kane’s got 20 points! Not to mention the (now two) transfers wasted and value lost.

Anyways, to answer your question, it depends how safe you want to play it. I did the switch an hour ago, but a lot can happen in the FA Cup 3rd Round, so I might be made a fool of: it’s entirely up to you.

Austin’s fixtures look *ok* but QPR are awful away, and their next few home games are tough, so it’s right move in my opinion.

LMAO. Lost my cup match. I was like a million points ahead but in some odd way Huttons bps got taken away, Sissokho went from 0 bps to 2 bps. I’m now level with my opponent on a measly 36 points but he got freaking more goals scored. sad
