Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 21 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match ChatGW21 is live! Tuesday night footy? Hell yeah, we will have some of that. Three fixtures start of our game-week, all starting at 7:45pm. Mid table Championship team Aston Villa play host to a slightly embarrassed Palace side who got ran off the pitch by the born again Chelsea. The Hammers and #PayetNation will look to payback their early season defeat against Bournemouth. The last of the triad of average games sees, the suddenly attacking Manchester United take on the suddenly defensive side Newcastle, who has only given up 3 total goals in their last 3 and managed to lose all three.

Wednesday sees the remaining action with seven fixtures to cap off the game-week. With five games kicking off at 7:45 and the remaining two, just fifteen minutes later. Chelsea will look to continue to regain trust and investment in their players when they face off against a surging Baggies side. The Toffees and their freewheeling side will look to match goal for goal with a City side who can really rack them up at home. The Saints will look to regain their lost form when they face-off against the god of great fantasy value Ighalo. Arnie’s Army and Shaq’s ladies will be hoping that their FPL investment in the two Stoke men will be repaid when they face Norwich. In the (couldn’t make me watch even with a gun to my head) worst fixture of the day we see the Swans and Sunderland make us wonder how some of these guys even get paid. We close the game-week with two cracking games when LFC look to take down the already celebrating Arsenal and their fans. In the other game, Spurs play host to a Leicester side that is starting to show signs of cracking after no wins in their last three.

  1. Went for Kun over Payet this week and hopefully it doesn’t come back to bite me.

Is it worth taking a hit for the second week running to do Lukaku/Kane to Deeney and Stanislas to Payet playing a 3-5-2 most weeks??

    • I still think that strikers are better captain contenders as opposed to midfielders, so no.

      • Cheers B I’m starting to think I’ll leave the team be till/if Lukaku or Kun get injured then I’ll bring in Payet smile

  2. Is Mahrez worth dropping for Payet?

    • I have both and I would never let go of Mahrez. Payet seems essential as well though. smile

Hard one, you can’t have all the attackers you want.

      • I have Mahrez, KDB, Alli, Ozil and Stanislas as 5th mid, need Payet tho. I have no idea who to drop.
I have Lukaku, Kan and Kun up top

        • Well, I took a risk and have taken out Lukaku for the City and CHelski clash. Expect them to tighten up defense versus Everton, you never know though. Want Lukaku back after that, Vardy to Lukaku, if possible. ON that note, I also want Sanchez when he returns. Considering Ozil or KdB to Sanchez. Sanchez will want to end this season with a big blow, bit like Payet. smile

    • Hard to drop Mahrez, honestly. He is very creative on the field, and has penalty duty as well.

      • This is the main reason why I don’t want to let him go. I like how Payet is on most set pieces and corners. And his passing, I dare to say he is on the same par as Ozil, vision wise and making those passes, could’ve had 2 or 3 more assists if the front players did their jobs.

        • I totally agree with this Raz! he looked unbelievable yesterday, and he’s just back from injury. It’s scary to think he’s going to get even more match sharp…

  3. Glad i went for Kane + Watson now instead of Payet + Ighalo with 2 FTs :/
Kane best get some good points tonight to make me feel better

  4. anybody considering Rooney?? And Raz, why didnt you suggest Payet to me when I asked?

    • I talk to a million people on this site (though, 999.999 of the conversations are with myself ^^), so can’t recall all conversations. And was a punt and the team you have is fine. If needed you can do Willian to Payet, no problem.

Anyway, if you watched me rant you’d probably have read the transfers I made early: Walcott to Payet and Lukaku to Kun.

Not interested in United players, not at all.

      • Oh..Thanks your grace..I’ll keep that in mind. (JK smile Got Wilian this week only. Will give him a chance. If Silva doesnt perform, out he goes. May be will do Ozil to Sanchez for a hit even.. Rooney looks rejuvenated this year..no reasons to think of. Guess will give him one more week to prove..cheers

        • Everybody is jumping on Chelsea after a few good games, we still have to see how that one works out. It’s obvious the players didn’t want to play for Mourinho though.

        • dude..dont forget that the same team were the champions last season. They obvsly have the potential and are kind of showing that to us now..Willian has said that they are eyeing CL next this time even.. Lets see

  5. Any predictions for tonight?

Bet 1: $5 on Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal and Hull WIN @ 10/1

Bet 2: $1 on Everton, Watford and Swansea WIN @ 51/1

    • It depends mate are you risky when betting or not, if not I’d go bet number 1.

I’ve gone with a safer option this week with PSG, AC Milan and Barcelona all to win

    • Your real problem though, B! How to get Payet? It’s troublesome, I feel for you.

      • I cant get him man! I will have to downgrade Lukaku, but that is foolish because Big Bad Lukaku has Swansea and Newcastle in the coming 3 GWs.

My solution might be Alli > Antonio, if Alli blanks tonight.

        • Antonio looked really good yesterday too B! He was on the ball all over the pitch and pushed forward into the box more than Payet did. I think he will be on the receiving end of perfect Payet passes presenting potential points production. A little alliteration poetry for you on this fine Wednesday smile

  6. Hey folks, potential WC team. Don’t know if I’d hit ze button just yet but wanted to see what you guys thought:

    Courtois / Hennessey
    Koscielny / Walker / Wollscheid / Smith / Simpson
    Ozil / KdB / Payet / Willian / Mahrez
    Aguero / Costa / Ighalo

    Leaves me 0 itb. Thoughts?
    -Cheers!

    • Maybe Alli instead of Willian also…

    • Personally I’d drop Willian to Ali or cheaper and upgrade Smith/Simpson to a top class defender. Cresswell seems a good option.

    • No Kane? You’re doomed Rasta man. smile

    • Thanks, Matt, Pancho, Raz.

Defo still contemplating whether or not to do it. Lukaku and Kane are still in form so tough to drop them for Aguero and Costa who are just rediscovering some form. Just too many options for forwards! Why can’t it be like the good old SAS days (Suarez, Aguero, Sturridge), eh?!?!
