Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 21 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 21GW21 is live! We hope you are happy with your transfers, your line-up and your all important captain selection as there’s little else you can do now other than sit back and watch the action unfold. Live Match Chat is your chance to have your say on the line-ups as they are announced, the games as they happen and the fallout afterwards! We kick it off with the saga of Brendan and Gerrard, will he bench him or play him? This is followed by six 3pm games including our dear friend Baines and his customary one pointer. Simultaneously Chelsea will be out for blood after getting the stuffing kicked out of them the previous GW. I say Pardew picked a good time to leave, as Newcastle might feel the repercussions of an embarrassed giant looking to redeem themselves. On Sunday we see little ol’ Arsenal play the brutes from Stoke and that is followed by the most intriguing game of the week when Man Utd. host the Saints to finish off the GW.

Saturday in full…

Sunderland v Liverpool 12:45pm

Burnley v QPR 3pm

Chelsea v Newcastle 3pm

Everton v Man City 3pm

Leicester v Aston Villa 3pm

Swansea v West Ham 3pm

West Brom v Hull City 3pm

Crystal Palace v Spurs 5:30pm

GW21 then concludes on Sunday with…

Arsenal v Stoke 1:30pm

Man Utd v Southampton 4pm

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for GW21 from all at FF247!

Shit. Aguero and Di Maria both went up last night. When I checked (albeit at 11pm) neither were set to rise. Had planned to bring both in… damn.

It pains me to wildcard today. Silva and Rooney are both great players who will need to be axed for Mr Aguero. I also wanted to wait for any potential big tranfers… but Sergio’s (already) rapidly rising price forces my hand somewhat.

Anyone else in a similar dilemma?

    Please help me decide.
Thinking of playing 3-5-2 (rotating Austin and Kane) with 5 good mid players.
Good to go with my WC?
    Any changes?
    Current team not good enough:
    Cuortois (Heaton)
    Terry/Mangala/Taylor/Hutton/Chester
    Hazard/Sanchez/Eriksen/Wanyama/Silva
    Carroll/Austin/Rooney
    1FT and £0.6

Hey respect, are you sure you’d want to bench Kane in his current form? If not I guess you could always bench Downing who has some tough fixtures coming up. I might even be tempted to double up on Spurs with Chadi instead.

Regardless, rotating attacking players ain’t my cuppa tea, as it can be a lot of money spent boosting the points tally of your bench. But if that’s how you want to play it – squad depth, which I can’t argue against – then it looks set mate.

Or will I wait for one more GW and just do for now Mangala –> Cresswell
And WC will be a bit weaker of Aguero and DiMaria prices.
What you think – good enough team for next GW with Cresswell transfer?

        • jamesimmo says:

Austin, Carroll, and Hutton are turn offs for me… but if you trust Carroll and want to play Rooney this week (as I do tbh) then perhaps hold. It depends if you can still afford your WC team after the aforementioned price rises.

        • Respect1987 says:

I trust your opinion by your score and your place overall, so what would you do if you where me, WC now or no? Could you tell me improvements in my WC team above, I mean what to change? Thanks a lot “jamesimmo”

        • jamesimmo says:

It’s really is your decision. If (me being you here) after the price rises I couldn’t afford the wildcard team then I’d hit then button now. But, if Rooney looks good and you can afford the rises, then I’d stick.

What’s your gut feeling on this? I’d go with it.

        • Respect1987 says:

I think I will, but is there anything to improve or change or leave it as it is? maybe Chester to Wisdom, and still thinking of DiMaria, Austin and Downing. What you think?

        • jamesimmo says:

Chester to Wisdom, as you say, and perhaps also Austin to Ings are two moves I would consider.

        • Respect1987 says:

And Downing – Chadli or someone else or keep?

        • Respect1987 says:

          Maybe Siggy?

    Hello everyone,
as many of you, I will wildcard this week before Kun’s price rockets.

The main question for me is:
    1- Cost and Downing
    or
    2- Austin and Sanchez…
    Which one would you prefer?

(The other midfielders would be Hazard, Fab, ADM, Boyd, and the strikers Aguero and Kane).

    Team for next week:
