Live Match Chat is your chance to have your say on the line-ups as they are announced, the games as they happen and the fallout afterwards! This round of fixtures starts with six games at 3pm as there is no early lunch time game this weekend. Saturday then finishes with the Saints marching in to St. James’ park looking for the 3 points against the Silver fox-less Toon. Sunday brings us two fixtures. The hammers looking to nail down the expected 3 points and the second clash that sees the title contenders square off against the 4th place contender, Gunners. The GW then concludes with what promises to be an interesting battle of wills. That being Everton’s deep desire to concede vs Pulis deep desire to never attack.

Which one of the wc teams do you think is better? Team 1 with Sakho in defense or Team 2 with Jones? Or any other comments on the team? Thanks!
Blackillusion
I think you need to work some Arsenal attacking coverage in there somehow.
Sanchez preferably, or Cazorla is a nice option too if money is tight.
Yeah I was toying with that. Sanchez seems hard but I could replace ADM with Cazorla. I do think that ADM will come through though once LVG stops fucking around with positions.
Sanchez is a must-have. Consider dropping ADM and reworking the team
Larsson to Boyd. Extra funds
It’s a toss up really, I’d go Jones because I’d trust ManU fixing things more than LIverpool.
Which of these 2 teams should I roll with?
Isaac
I prefer the Chelsea coverage spread across the positions so Team 1 would be my preference.
Might be difficult to leave someone out of that front eight each week though. Nice problem to have I suppose
second one for sure.
However you need one person to bench and would rather invest the amount you save by drafting in a cheaper midfielder and allocating it to your backline.
Morning All! With the massive break now it is time for me to wildcard, here is my very first draft, let me know what you think so I can go from here
Hello migs, morning mate.
The Arsenal coverage in midfield is well worth a shot I think. In fact your front eight I think is very good. Nice couple of differentials there.
I’d be happy to go with Baird if he continues in the team so look out for the WBA line-up tonight. Gardos I wouldn’t take as his place is probably only secure for one, maximum two gameweeks. I’d feel a lot more comfortable with Terry in that back line as opposed to Azpilicueta so is there something you could do with bringing him in and downgrading Gardos to either Palace or Stoke defence?
Goalkeepers fine.
Great start of a WC mate.
Hello GP! thanks for your response mate
ok so then if I downgrade Gardos then I have no Southampton defence, you think that is alright? Azpi to Terry and Gardos to Kelly/Muniesa is achievable.
OOOh GP what about Bellerin at 4.4 as well? Then at least I have Terry, Jones and Bellerin from decent teams
migs
Indeed. I mentioned to Jeet earlier that I think he may stay in the team seeing as they had a clean sheet yesterday. Might be worth a punt that one.
I think you might be stretched to get Clyne, Fonte or Bertrand with Terry and Jones.
Clyne, Terry and Bellerin would be a decent effort if you could make it.
Think Bellerin could be worth the risk. I also went Gardos with the option of making an easy switch to Toby when he is back. You right tho, Terry Clyne and Bellerin is just a bit too much unfortunately!
migs
I guess Gardos (with a longer term view of Alderweireld) is a good move to cover the Saints.
I’m also thinking Bellerin is worth a shout,. Does anyone think Santon will get back into the Newcastle side again soon, could be a great pick up at 4.3.
Bellerin’s worth the risk, but I’d make sure you have a bench that can step in and do a job. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him dropped at any given moment, for any reason (Ditto for Ospina). Wenger spent a lot of money on Chambers and we’ve seen how loyal to him he’s been when fit. Of course, they could both play together.
hi all, David ospina will be a nailed starter or it will be a risk bringing him in? Thanks
I think he must be nailed on until he has some bad game, can’t see him being dropped after two consecutive clean sheets, one at the Etihad.
Hi guys any thoughts on this wildcard team please ? I know Bellerin might not be nailed but thought he was worth the risk at that price and Arsenals fixtures. Is Hazard better value than Fabregas ? Also not sure about Silva but given Citys fixtures after the chelsea game and the fact he will be the main man to supply the bullets to Aguero worth keeping ??
Excellent team Brookyboy, I’m also considering Bellerin as I reckon he’s worth the risk for the price and Puncheon for Downing was my planned FT for this week but after Stewart’s delivery of yesterday I might keep him even with their fixtures.
We’ll face each other in the Banterbury league next gw, it’ll be an interesting h2h! 😉
Good luck mate.
Cheers Albertini. Was tempted to keep Downing myself but they do have a tough run of fixtures so the plan is to bring him back in about Gw 30.Nice score this week mate, great captain choice and rank !!
Dont normally take any notice of the h2h games but i’ll keep an eye out for this weeks !! Good luck to you too ( but not too much ! ) 😉
Cheers Brooky 😉
