Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 22 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15
GW22 is live! We hope you are happy with your transfers, your line-up and your all important captain selection as there’s little else you can do now other than sit back and watch the action unfold. Live Match Chat is your chance to have your say on the line-ups as they are announced, the games as they happen and the fallout afterwards! This round of fixtures starts with six games at 3pm as there is no early lunch time game this weekend. Saturday then finishes with the Saints marching in to St. James’ park looking for the 3 points against the Silver fox-less Toon. Sunday brings us two fixtures. The hammers looking to nail down the expected 3 points and the second clash that sees the title contenders square off against the 4th place contender, Gunners. The GW then concludes with what promises to be an interesting battle of wills. That being Everton’s deep desire to concede vs Pulis deep desire to never attack.

What FT should I make this GW with 1.3m itb. I think I can last another GW without pressing the WC button.
1. Adrian > DDG
2. Taylor > Monreal/Jones/Mert
3. Siggy > Tadic
Can do only one of those for free.
3 if you’re not keeping Siggy with your WC.
Tadic injured at the moment though, so I’d keep an eye on that before making that change.
Didn’t know about that, he’s not flagged.
Said a knock earlier today but it seems removed. Okay, that’s a good sign. 😉
Think for that reason he only played 59 minutes versus ummmmm Newcastle. Oi, that’s a shocker. 1 point. >.<
Shit B, can you stop copying my team. I mean!!!!!!!!!!!!! Geezzzzzzzzzzz? >.<
Even Baines now? What's next, you're buying Pantsuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu??????????
Lol. Had a lot of cash in bank so thought a punt on Baines before I WC would be nice. Got in Ivan too with the fund, and that paid off well. 😉
Okay, you should rename yourself. The B should from now on be ”The C”. The Copycat. :big-lol:
Just kidding mate. Smart move. And I actually see Baines doing well tonight. Him and Everton have been coming good past few weeks. They looked half decent versus City and actually deserved that draw, maybe more. As for conceding goals. They really have had refs against them with decision making which ended up in a goal for the opponent. And on 8 occasions they just conceded 1 goal (which is rather close to a CS). I think they have been really unlucky.
Anyway, when are you wildcarding mate? I’m waiting.
Me too. I think I can wait out this GW, but have 3 players with unfavorable fixtures so could WC.
Iva, Silva and Wisdom? Or Siggy? Hmmm Pool away also not the easiest.
Silva can always grab points on a good day. Hmmmm. Yeah it’s on you to decide what to do or not. Just happy Kun blanked yesterday.
Looking at it, it could go either way. Everybody who wildcarded this week have had rather low scores since the players they figured that would perform just didn’t.
I have 8 homeplayers for the next GW so I’d be stupid to WC. Only question marks are and will be Cahill and Silva. On one of those I’ll use my FT. Think I might do Silva to Di Maria.
Actually, Adrian, Siggy and my third defender, who will be either Wisdom or Taylor.
I think Matic will probably neutralize Silva like the Arsenal kid did yesterday. Chelsea defence is a toss but with Iva you always have a chance (bit like Baines).Wisdom, Adrian, Hutton and Taylor all have hard fixtures. Can be a weird week. Just figure what could happen if Chelsea blank…………………. already 3 of our players doing nothing, than you have those players to think about. >.<
I also see a red card or 2 in the game between City and Chelsea.
Alright, took the recommendation and tinkered a bit more. Thoughts on this one?
If you’re gonna spend 4.8m on a fifth mid it might as well be JWP. Defence is a concern. Muniesa has been second/third choice for years, think Villa have quite hard fixtures coming up (plus no Vlaar), Leicester not the best defence. Will just leave you Bertrand and Wisdom. PANTSUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU is the way to go though.
Pants and Foster don’t rotate, I’d ditch one of them and pick another gk, Krul or Heaton or even the second keeper from SUN or WBA and go without rotation but with more funds to upgrade elsewhere.
Muniesa is not nailed on, I think the best defender to pick from STK would be Wollscheid.
A CHE defender is almost a must have imo (JT or Ivan). Also Hazard ahead of Fabregas, seeing you don’t have him from the beginning.
Downing has very bad fixtures, I’ve kept him with my WC last week (and I’m glad I did!) but I’m now considering selling him maybe for Puncheon.
Great points, thanks!
Undecided whether to play WC or not, this is my current team. Its the defence that is making me want to play it, what do you reckon?
Thanks
Front 7 look solid for next GW. YOu can play Pantsu versus Burnley, Dumett probably out so you could upgrade him to Fonte?
Mangala probably not going to play though and Cresswell, Taylor & Hutton with toughies so not much potential for clean sheet points. Unsure what waiting an extra week to WC will benefit me, what reason are you keeping yours?
My team is looking too good to wildcard this GW. You never know what will happen that last week. Plus the complexion of the fixtures will change after GW23.
7 homegames, I’d have less when I wildcard. Also, Silva to Di Maria makes it 8 homegame players. When wildcard activated players like Sterling/Austin/Baines will probably go. At the moment they have a decent fixture though.
Only concerns are Cahill and Silva. So I’m either bringing in an extra defender to replace the Chelsea one or I’ll replace Silva. Anyway, this all also depends on injuries and stuff. Hope everybody stays fit. Kun blanking was also key.
I was actually thinking of bringing Sterling in on my WC, haven’t looked but thought he might be a decent differential.
Sturridge will be back at the end of the month. Even with him and Pool playing bad he still gets his fair share of assists.
Totalfpl completely stopped doing shit? Last update is from the 16th. Not 1 price change last night? FFF still on Clyne which was from the 18th.
Jones (utd) went up in value and Siggy went down to name two…
Yeah, I see now. Rooney also went down 0.1m. My opponent/nemesis/rival has Rooney, Siggy, Chambers. He doesn’t have Kane and well Silve he won’t need anymore but he also missed out on him. Think I have like +1m more to spend. Which could be key if you think about it. We both have WC at hand.
Very disappointed by MC yesterday, but it just goes to show how important Yaya is. Not mentioned much, as ANC is on, but the the WCs coming out this week, you might want to reserve enough cash, or trade possibilities to bring Yaya back in-for ADM, if he doesn’t work out, or perhaps Villa-GW25 or GW26?
Happy hunting.
Good day, folks. Thoughts on a replacement for Debuchy? Currently leaning towards Kelly or Van Aanholt. Which would you go for? Or anyone else that i’ve missed. Ta.
Took a look at the PvA situation first. Ben was referring to him here right?
https://twitter.com/BenDinnery/status/556913277541056512
Which other player is called PvA? >.<
He’s not injured. It look like Ben is using him and Delph as an example for how long Chester will be out for.
FFS, you’re right. It’s all clear to me now. HAHA. So bad. Anyway, my reading comprehension is letting me down ”yet” again.
Hey NIN, PvA has the fixtures to justify his inclusion. Arsenal do too but depends on how long Bellerin can keep his place.
Thanks init. Bellerin certainly caught the eye yesterday. Like you say though, it’s game time that’s the issue there and i don’t want Wasilewski to be anywhere near my first team for GW23. I’d like to keep it cheap either way as i’ll need to cover price changes for Rooney/Aguero swap for GW24. van Aanholt does seem the best route just now
