Another horrific week in my ML as I slip further down! On paper my team looks decent but a mixture of bad choices and bad look left me with 45 points with 12 lost from a bad captain choice and 19 points sitting on the bench… 77 points … I would have been happy with that! What do you all make of this lot? My head tells me to leave it and work with 2 transfers the following week, feel like my defence has let me down a lot recently as has KDB and Ozil so that’s where my attention is focused at present!

Hi Rosco. My midfield is identical to yours. I put Alli on the bench over Christmas when his ownership level was pretty low and I lost points when he was scoring and assisting. Thing you have to realise is he should now be considered one of your first choice midfielders. That means dropping one of your strikers who are all in form! It’s a tough one.

Hi everyone. Strange outcome for todays game but such is this season’s taly so far.
It has been a frustraiting season fpl-wise but it just took me two 70-ish gw in a row to climb from 900k to 425k! That’s without igloo and Vardy all season. So it seems there’s still room for improvement which means … next stop Alexis!
I’ve looked around my MLs and others and it seems difficult for others to simples swap him with no hits or WC. For me, it takes KDB out which I think will pay off. Let’s see what the cups tell us but looking ahead and looking for differentials I’d invest in:
    – Sanchez
    – Austin!
    – Forster!
    – Fuchs!
    – Swansea defense
    – Ivanovic!
These guys are our breakthrough towards those
    template highly ranked teams.

Hi DMC, great scoring the last 2 weeks, well done! Sanchez feels like an easy differential and I will likely go that route in a week or two. Dead set on Payet for Deulofeu this week though. Austin feels ike Lambert of 2 years ago and he’s another target for sure but with a current front 3 of Kun, Lukau and Kane I’m not sure where he fits in.

      • DMC says:

Cheers init! Yeah didnt mention Payet and Aguero cause those I already see as must haves (as differentials for a few weeks and then total points wise). The thing with Sanchez is that he’ll be in a lot of teams once the fireworks begin. Ozil->Sanchez is an easy swap. So his ‘window’ as a differential will be short which leads me to think of him for this next one if the cup games don’t lead me another way.
I see you on austin, it’s difficult to include him. I have that same front 3 and did thought about ditching Kane allowing KDB, but I only had 6.4 and it would mean Mahrez out which probably has ‘bad move’ written all over it. So, not for me, but surely a viable option for anyone in need or just willing to mix it up.

The one consistent thing about this season is how inconsistent everybody is………

Terrible gameweek choice wise. Playing catch up in my mini league, and I almost caught up with my nemesis. So bad gameweek? Nope.
