Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 23 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16
GW23 is live! What a time to be alive, when two teams who went scoreless last GW, kick it off with a lunch time fixture as Liverpool visit Norwich. This is followed by seven more games on the day. The dying Palace welcomes in Spurs, Leicester will look to convert a penalty when they face Stoke, in other action Rooney will look to continue his revival when he squares off versus the Saints. The great defensive side Sunderland take on Bournemouth, Watford tangle with Wijnaldum and the suddenly scoring Toon. In the game everyone will be DVRing, The Baggies are set to battle Villa and to finish off the Saturday action, The Hammers will look to burst the bubble of the high scoring City side.
We finish the game-week off with two fixtures on Sunday. Everton will look to put a hurting on Swansea in the first game and Arsenal will feel the need for some sweet revenge against a Chelsea side that can’t defend or score onside goals but managed to beat The Gunners the last time out.

Crystal Palace v Spurs 3pm
Leicester v Stoke 3pm
Man Utd. v Southampton 3pm
Sunderland v Bournemouth 3pm

Advice please chaps. Thinking of doing Kolarov to Reid (west ham have decent fixtures) which will leave me enough to do KDB to Sanchez next week. Team:
good move i would say
Cresswell is a much better pick though.
but i believe Reid is cheap. not sure what his price is
its a good move for me
Actually figured I can do Creswell as long as De Bruyne only drops 0.1m.
Good moves Captain. Cresswell would be ideal of course but it leaves little room the manoeuvre. You may get away with it though given how close the next two GW’s are to one another. I’d leave the initial switch until as close to Tuesday as possible just so you know what the actual situation looks like. No harm in doing the Sanchez one the second their game finishes and assuming he’s come through it.
Please rate my team below i need to make my defense better any suggestions please wildcard is active now ??
Khaled.
How about Ozil > Sanchez & Firmino > Alli
Any spare cash use to upgrade defence,
Not sure if Targett is nailed on, also Sagna may have rotation problems.
I wouldn’t get rid of Firmino for the next 3 weeks. They have great fixtures. Not sure why you will arced this week TBH. Your team looks ok. Best options to raise funds are Sagna and Lukaku although both have good fixtures this week. As you have to sell now how about Aghalo/Vardy/Valencia (as a differential) and Use the cash at the back
Guys who should I replace Myhill with? He drops in value tonight. Please help!
Morning Smithy – any reason for the urgency (other than the price drop)? I’m in the same boat, but will ride it out pending the outcomes of this weekend’s matches.
Smithy I’m reliably informed that Man City, Arsenal, Spurs, West Ham and Liverpool all have favourable fixtures ahead! That’s based on who NIN told me I had to write about this week in Fixtures, I haven’t actually studied it myself yet I’d guess that’s as good a start as any though. Maybe pinpoint some from those and see who you can afford and then check their rotation with Elliot.
And I meant to add that I wouldn’t be doing it tonight anyway, let the fall happen.
Morning All. And Happy Australia Day to all Aussie, local and abroad! Back on deck after an extended “leave of absence” due to a number of reasons, but great to be part of this wonderful forum again! So what have I missed?
About 6 months of dross FPL
Good to see you back Blue and hope everything is ok with you over there. Apologise to your secretary for me too
Init my good friend. Nice to see you champ. The secretary (bless her) couldn’t take a proper message to save her life, but imagine the response in the office when it was broadcast as follows: “some bloke from the UK called wanting to chat about fantasy football with you”. Thank goodness the boss was nowhere to be seen :big-lol:
Hey blue
Great to hear from you mate.
Hope you’re well. You’ve missed a season that isn’t getting going at all. It’ll be over before it settles down!
Lol, that did cross my mind as to how it would possibly play across, she did ask me 3 times to repeat why I was calling I’m sure I said word ‘seriously’ 10 times too! I think she took me for a prank caller from a radio station.
Hey up Blue, long time since you’ve been on the boards, nice to see you back. Not a lot happening with the fantasy footy to be honest, it certainly is a topsy turvy season.
Ighalo is the perfect third forward. Cheap and lets you have a slighty better midfield and defence. He will only come out my team if he get’s a serious injury.
right lads I need some advice on my team!
Butland, Elliot.
Nyom, Walker, Dawson, Simpson, Cresswell.
Ozil, KDB, Mahrez, Payet. Stanislas.
Lukaku, Aguero, Kane.
1.0 ITB and 2 fts. Walker is going down in price soon so I was just wondering what people thought I should be doing?
You don’t really want to be selling a Spurs defender. I’d sit tight on what you have.
2 fts though what would you suggest? Alli in? Somebody to replace nyom?
I’d wait until after the weekend and see who gets injured or suspended. Alli would be ideal but not sure for whom. Most will say Mahrez but I’m not sure.
I think ozil but I’m hoping him and sanchez both start so I can review it
