Fucking A! Another terrible GW. 49 points with Lukaku to go. Capped Kun and I choose Firminho as FT over Alli. Heart over head. Just need to play this stupid game clinical, no heart.

      DMC says:

Alli was and is a heart move. That’s the romance with spurs I was discussing the Other day. He’s the wonderkid delivering both to spurs fans hearts and to fpl managers. Nobody could anticipate this level of consistency but We didnt need that to bring him In at 5.0 back In gw 10-ish. Anyway, why the heck did you sell him?

    NIN says:

Okay folks, here’s my bunch of ass-hats. Really considering -4 or even a -8. Probably not necessary but i’m fed up “playing it safe”. 2 FT’s and 0.6 in the kitty.

    Adrian – Rudd
    Ake – Walker – Jagielka – !vanovic – Ward
    Yaya – Ozil – Payet – Alli – Stanislas
    Kane – Lukaku – Kun

Jags, Yaya, Ozil and Lukaku are all primed for the chop.

      Raziel says:

Shrugs, why? Team looks solid. Lukaku has 3 decent fixtures left, up till the blank. I don’t get it.

      adam28193 says:

just yaya imo, firminho maybe. siggy if you want a risk

      • Raziel says:

Yeah, Firminho was just bloody awesome tonight.

      • NIN says:

Cheers. Whether you would take a it here yourself or not, which three transfers, or four, do you reckon would gain the most points?

        • Raziel says:

Personally, just Yaya for Sanchez or a two week point on Firm. Rest looks solid, can’t improve there.

        • NIN says:

One of these days, Raz, you’ll actually answer the question i ask laugh

        • Raziel says:

Sorry NiN. It’s been a nightmare day for me. At least I had the games to look forward to, ended up failing miserably. I’m super annoyed.

Looking at your question again and it is bloody hard. It’s like you are asking me to sell my Lamborghini for a Mercedes. I don’t see a potential upgrade.

On that note, potential point grabbers not currently in your team could be Sanchez, Firminho, vDijk, Giroud, Kos and so on. Now sleep, from nightmare day to real nightmares in my sleep. Life is awesome. ^_^

        • NIN says:

No worries, i’m used to it 😉

      Tekno-kun says:

‘Ello NIN, reckon you’ve figured out which players to get rid of. Reckon van Dijk would be the ideal replacement for Jags. A bit more difficult to find mids as there aren’t too many standout choices, Sanchez is obviously a choice, so is Silva but I wouldn’t get him unless he starts producing, Siggy is a punt, and Mahrez has nice fixtures after the next two matches. Vardy seems a good replacement for Lukaku, but I’m more interested in Costa myself as he’s a differential. I have Afobe in a draft league but not sure if I’m brave enough to get him in FPL laugh

      • NIN says:

Now we’re talking! Right, three transfers mate to bring in Costa and Sanchez. Need to raise 1.8m to get them in for Ozil and Lukaku which leaves 6.8 for mid if i sell Yaya, 6.1 if it was Payet, or 4.7 for a defender if Ivanovic is the one to make way. Want to keep Ivanovic so it’s down to the other two really.

        • NIN says:

          Arnautovic maybe?

        • Tekno-kun says:

Hm, I’d say get rid of Yaya but can’t really see any mids I’d recommend at that price. Maybe spread those moves over 2-3 GWs and try to free up more funds by selling Jags in addition to those three? The mids closest to that price I’d recommend are Mahrez and Siggy.

        • NIN says:

If Swansea’s fixtures were a bit better i would go for Siggy i think. Thinking Arnautovic might be a good shout, thoughts?

He has been quiet recently and is currently being sold at a rapid rate. Opportunity to steal a march maybe?

      DMC says:

NIN – this is a good team every other week.
Forster, Fuchs, Sanchez In for Adrian, Jags, Ozil would that work?

      • NIN says:

Cheers DMC. Not a big fan of those moves to be honest. Adrian is doing well for me so he is staying.

        • DMC says:

Yeah Adrian is a good pick. He’s just 0.2 more than Forster at the moment and to improve that team you seem to need any penny around, but yeah those 0.2 are more for Wildcard moves, not hits.
So maybe wait for tomorrow’s games and reasess. Who knows if Hazard gets a brace just to mix it up.
There are a few budget picks Out there but I’m not sure if they’ll be as consistent has you need them to be or In deed better than those you’d be selling.
Paloshi could be a good punt and has made an Impact right away, as well as afobe, but would you ditch someone like luk for them? In midfield Eriksen would be a good move but you already have triple spurs. How about Mane? He looked lively today and should start to Produce at some point and could also be a good differential let’s say for YYT?

        • NIN says:

Cheers buddy. Been mulling it over for the last while and now i’m confused and very tired! I’ll keep those names in mind for when i get back to giving a shit about my team laugh

Allow me to be the first to say, well done TGP! Huge, huge, huge score this week. Bingo :hippo:

  5. 59
    Tekno-kun says:

Looks like it’s time to get Southampton defensive cover, considered van Dijk at first but Forster is the cheapest starter. That would mean sacrificing my beloved Butland though, but with Shawcross injured and so-so fixtures (except GW 26 &27) it might be time to let go. You peeps reckon this would be a good move?

    nishant says:

    okay another average week
    this isn’t helping my cause

47 points with Ighalo and Lukaku to come

a 55-60 point week would be appreciated

fell down to 292k from 237k
a red arrow definitely even after Luk and Igloo go nuts i guess
    😉

    • 60.1
      NIN says:

Its a serious struggle! Just shows how competitive the league is now that every club in there has a lot of money to spend / offer players. A strategy overhaul might be necessary for the start of next season.

      • nishant says:

        agree

i was a bit shocked to see the average score was 46

i thought i was having a good week

        cleanies from Dier ane Bellerin
        assists from Alli and Mahrez
goals from Alli again and Sir Aguero

        hoping Lukaku doesn’t blank
i do not have the money to swap him for Kane

        that needs a hit

        • NIN says:

That will be the United, Arsenal, Spurs and Leicester CS’s. My team dropped near 100k when the CS’s were added. No joke. Vardy brace didn’t help either.

        • nishant says:

the biggest problem i believe is too many strikers

Kun, Kane, Lukaku (not so apparently) , Ighalo, Vardy, Costa, Rooney (apparently so) are all returning points

again there is the midfield mayhem

i feel like wildcarding my team

god this DGW will it come sooner
          sad

        • NIN says:

Exactly. Most teams are pretty decent at the very least as far as attack goes, which is what makes me wonder about a strategy change for next season.

        • nishant says:

now even Afobe is a consistent scorer
