Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 24 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match ChatGW24 is live! Tuesday night footy again and this time it is 8 fixtures to get our game-week going. The Chumps to be Arsenal host the Saints, the Champs to be Leicester take on a fun and a non-defending Liverpool side. In other action we see the Smoking Joe Canaries match up against Alli! Alli! Alli! and his Spurs side, City blitz the Stadium of Light with goals, goals, goals. The Hammers look to pound on a defenseless Villa, while Adebayor will look to prove himself slightly better than useless when Palace takes on the Cherries. Manchester United have been heard threatening Stoke with getting a shot on target on them when they face off and in the last of the fixtures for Tuesday, West Brom and Swansea tangle in the midfield as their keepers have the night off.

Was Payet as quiet in the game as it looks on paper? I woulda expected him to really pour it on once Villa were down to 10 men… :/

Just to compound my misery Rondon has ruined Williams’ clean sheet. I can’t believe it.

Why has Kun lost most of us 8 points for being booked? Surely the winning goal baps would help him to at least 1? How do two Sunderland defenders get points like I’ve never seen that before, absolute joke. Vardy, Alli and all 7 from the back 3 make up for it but, 8 points is massive this year.

He must have done SFA but score. Sunderland defenders under the cosh for large parts, racking up CBI’s etc. Makes sense to me.

Yep, that 8 points is a killer Rambo. I’d be looking pretty nice right now with those added in. The OPTA stats that they use have been horribly wrong some weeks. Deulofeu got screwed out of assist points literally 3 weeks in a row when I owned him, it’s so frustrating sometimes.

Would have hit over 70… Yeah NiN reckon he scored and then only had shots blocked… They all even themselves out over the season!

So how serious is the Alli injury? ANd wtf was City doing today?

Wow, so my keepers are Forster and Cech. Turns out I should have played the Saints keeper, away at the Emirates! Mental!

So, tonight’s the night I’m going to do my transfers with all the price changes (Aguero, Targett and Simpson all going up, Ozil going down). My team is below. What do you reckon I should do with 1FT and £3.9m in the bank?:

    1. Ighalo > Aguero and Ozil > Alli (4-point hit, £0.3m in the bank)
    2. Ighalo > Aguero, Alderweireld > Simpson and Darmian > Targett (8-point hit, £0m in the bank)
    3. Something else?

    Ta muchly!

Number 1. You are getting two fantastic players in for that option. On the assumption Alli is fit for the weekend.

Number 1 mate, without a doubt. I wouldn’t be at all concerned about Alli. He looked happy enough and did the post match interviews to boot.

      • theswirly says:

Cheers, Init smile How has this GW been treating you?

        • inittowinit says:

Ok I think. 57 plus a point off the bench and Lukaku to go. Feels ok but will have to check ML scores later to know! Happy with Kane and Alli. Happier that Darmian finally returned something after his recent debacles, 59 minutes etc. How’s yours?

        • theswirly says:

Nice score, matey! Exactly the same on the Darmian front – I was even sad enough to message FPL to say that different sites were saying it was 60 minutes and that they should therefore double check. Alas, it turned out to be 59 minutes and 36 seconds that he came off. I’m not going to lie, that just rubbed salt into the wound! So, yeah, nice to see him get a clean sheet this GW.

After bonus points, I should be on 47, but I’ve got Ighalo and captain Lukaku to play tomorrow, so fingers crossed they can get some decent points and I can maybe get up into the 60s. This is the last week without Aguero, by the way, I’ve followed your advice and just taken out Ighalo and Ozil for Aguero and Alli and it’s a very optimistic FPL feeling I’ve got suddenly! Bring on the Aguero points party that I’ve been so late to!

Any reason why J.Evans was taken off early(ish)?
