Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 25 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match ChatGW25 is live! What a way to kick-off the game-week!! We see the top two teams battle it out in a lunch time fixture. Cinderella (Leicester) takes on the future home of Prince Charming (Pep) in what promises to be a drama filled game. Three o’clock sees six fixtures our way. Villa and Norwich tangle in a talentless face off, Liverpool and Sunderland compare defenders just for laughs, Newcastle look to start getting away from relegation when they square off versus The Baggies. We also see the rampaging Spurs continue their magical carpet ride to the top when they look to grab all three points versus Watford. The Stokies are set to do battle with Everton, while the Swans look to take advantage of a Palace side that has lost their way or some would say found their way to Adebayor…not sure there is a difference there. The Saturday games come to an end when the Forster led Saints look for their 5th clean sheet on the bounce since Fraser made it back when they welcome in West Ham.

On Sunday we have two fixtures. Born again Bournemouth faces off versus 4th place again Arsenal and in the last of our fixtures, Chelsea will look to contain the on again genius of LVG.

    Anyone watching, how’s Payet doing?

Seems to be disappointing last few weeks fpl wise.

That’s 3 red cards for Wanyama now! Bought him for 4.4m, he’s dropped to 4.2m since, perhaps now’s the time to upgrade him in preparation for Bench Boost later on?

Hopefully this will give Payet some freedom…

A little depressed, watching wannabes dropping wildcards on my head. Looking ahead to dgws, I’d appreciate some advice, some of which may have already been given.
Chip and wildcard rules seem to say 1 card per week. This means, I presume, we need to wildcard a week before we play a chip. If we’ve a first dgw in 33, then we need to wc in 32 to set up a chip.
If this is so, how do folks rate the chips? I’ve been told AOA is pretty useless, but would it benefit a dgw score?
And would one use BB close to a wildcard, and come back with TC for the following dgw?
But I can’t be too down; Spurs are second. 😉

Hi Ki, you’ve pretty much nailed it all right there. WC to get a squad full of DGW’ers the week before and then BB on the DGW itself. The only caveat to this is that the DGW is worth it in the sense that it’d have to have a good few teams to go at. Ideally 6 or more. 4 or less and it may not be. If it’s the latter then I’d be using the TC on the first one and probably hope the second one is busier. Given that the second one is likely to be GW37 then this may be even better as you’ll only have 1 week after it to have to contend with a completely altered and maybe not ideal new squad.

      • KI says:

Great advice, as always. This one goes on the wall above my computer. I particularly appreciate the point about using the wc for gw37, as my subconscious was nagging me about the four games to the finish, after the first dgw.

I can’t decide whether that’s a good image or a creepy one! Silence of the Lambs springs to mind. You don’t have a cellar or very deep well in your house do you?!

How’s your week been Ki? Bang average again here.

        • KI says:

          Init,

My week’s been right on average. Mind, I was clever enough to bench Mahrez and Dann. The former get to play until he drops…
And sorry about the image. I’m a little software-challenged, but hope to be respectable next year. The image is a very old-fashioned “smiley”.

        • inittowinit says:

I meant the image in my mind of you printing screenshots of comments and pinning them to your wall!

Dann is a goal machine and clearly should be fielded every week just in case! I sold Mahrez never mind just benched him! Got Firmino instead so more or less the same difference I guess. Playing catch up in my ML so trying to find a point of difference here and there!

Indeed. I follow your posts quite carefully, as I think we’ve managed some good early transfers on a team going places.
