Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 25 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match ChatGW25 is live! What a way to kick-off the game-week!! We see the top two teams battle it out in a lunch time fixture. Cinderella (Leicester) takes on the future home of Prince Charming (Pep) in what promises to be a drama filled game. Three o’clock sees six fixtures our way. Villa and Norwich tangle in a talentless face off, Liverpool and Sunderland compare defenders just for laughs, Newcastle look to start getting away from relegation when they square off versus The Baggies. We also see the rampaging Spurs continue their magical carpet ride to the top when they look to grab all three points versus Watford. The Stokies are set to do battle with Everton, while the Swans look to take advantage of a Palace side that has lost their way or some would say found their way to Adebayor…not sure there is a difference there. The Saturday games come to an end when the Forster led Saints look for their 5th clean sheet on the bounce since Fraser made it back when they welcome in West Ham.

On Sunday we have two fixtures. Born again Bournemouth faces off versus 4th place again Arsenal and in the last of our fixtures, Chelsea will look to contain the on again genius of LVG.

Liverpool v Sunderland 3pm

Newcastle v West Brom 3pm

Spurs v Watford 3pm

Awesome, van Dijk cleansheet. ^_^ Even though I have Payet, I’ll take that cs gladly. Sitting on 60 points, just Ozil left though. How did you guys do?

    Q. 1 What should be done with Payet?

    Q. 2 What’s up with Soton defence? Yoshida suddenly plays and wins it for them? Targett played 3-4 weeks and got decent return in all of them and then on bench :/ Seems Fonte, Dijk and Bertrand are the only nailed on starters

      1. Should be shot

      2. Not sure of the reasons why on that one but clearly just get one of the others or just get Forster if you are looking to buy into them

      Snookie, here are my thoughts:
      1. Payet -> Firmino is what I should have done for this GW. Not worth it for next week with Firmino’s blank coming. For now, just keep him. Norwich and Sunderland in his next 2. I almost benched him this week anyway as I didn’t expect much but chose Ighalo instead. Nothing choice there.
      2. I haven’t caught any of their games but they seem to be setting their sights on the Europa league next year. Solid squad with a little bit of depth now with some new additions. I will be trying to get one in (possibly Forster for DDG to free up cash).

Finally a good week!!!! Been to the match and we won! (Newcastle) and after 9 weeks of poor scores and slipping from 2nd to 7th in my ML I’ve finally scored higher than the teams above me! 57 with Cech, monreal and Ozil to play ( might not be loads but better than the 6 above me) and I’m the only one bar one other ti still hold my BB, TC, and wilcard!! God bless you Firmino my only real differential!

Firminho also saved my gameweek. Even though Vardy did nothing today, him and Leicester did look awesome. Good future buy.

Nice one Rosco! Sounds like you could still win that easily if things go your way a bit in the DGW’s. Anything of interest to report from the game? Other than relief!

      • Rosco77 says:

Cheers init! I’ve had a lot of lows in recent weeks ( months!) but with some careful planning and leaving my finger off that Wildcard button I’m still in with a chance!!
Things I took from the match, Elliot is not a bad back up keeper at his price ( just got Cech in this week) so this is a move I’m debating for Myhil. Wij is perhaps not as good an option as we have more creative outlets on the pitch in Townsend and arraons, this is better for Newcastle but not so much for FPL. Other than that I certainly wouldn’t be rushing to buy any newc players! West brom were decent and I think defensively they are still a viable option although at the minute I think soton are a better option in that price bracket! Oh and yes.. Relief.. A lot of relief!!

Cool, thanks mate. I think we all may be leaning on you for insider info as their DGW approaches as we may have to get 1 or 2 of them depending on who else is involved. The fact that one of them is definitely against City isn’t a good start though!

I’ve just had a look and my heads-up league opponent has 68 with Koscielny to play.
    I have 38 with DDG-Bell-Sanchez-Ozil. I just need 31 from DDG-Sanchez-Ozil and no goals/assists from Kosc. #SoYoureSayinTheresAChance

Another question. I don’t suppose any FPL stattos would be tracking the average worth of the chips? Just curious.
