Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 25 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match ChatGW25 is live! What a way to kick-off the game-week!! We see the top two teams battle it out in a lunch time fixture. Cinderella (Leicester) takes on the future home of Prince Charming (Pep) in what promises to be a drama filled game. Three o’clock sees six fixtures our way. Villa and Norwich tangle in a talentless face off, Liverpool and Sunderland compare defenders just for laughs, Newcastle look to start getting away from relegation when they square off versus The Baggies. We also see the rampaging Spurs continue their magical carpet ride to the top when they look to grab all three points versus Watford. The Stokies are set to do battle with Everton, while the Swans look to take advantage of a Palace side that has lost their way or some would say found their way to Adebayor…not sure there is a difference there. The Saturday games come to an end when the Forster led Saints look for their 5th clean sheet on the bounce since Fraser made it back when they welcome in West Ham.

On Sunday we have two fixtures. Born again Bournemouth faces off versus 4th place again Arsenal and in the last of our fixtures, Chelsea will look to contain the on again genius of LVG.

I would be grateful for any help on my team please.

My squad is in freefall and have a couple of players who are currently not playing, namely Baines and Mertesacker. YaYa is also a player I need to ship out. Annoyingly these are 3 of the last 4 transfers I’ve made, the other was Ozil to Sanchez (That one has worked out well, not!).

    Squad:
    Schmeichel, McCarthy
    Baines, Mertesacker, Moreno, Alderweireld, Wollsheid
    Mahrez, YaYa, Alli, Payet, Sanchez
    Aguero, Kane, Ighalo

    Thank you.

Hi twinkle, you’re in a bit of an unfortunate mess here! You may need to sort Baines as I doubt he gets his place back anytime soon given back to back clean sheets and a blank ahead. Possibly, and probably more importantly, you need to switch Yaya ahead of GW27 as I’m assuming you’ll just bench Aguero and so need another midfielder to play.

Thanks inittowinit. I’ve learnt my lesson not to gamble. I was trying to push on up the rankings but should have kept thing as they were.

I have two transfers this week so could ship Baines and Yaya out without a hit. However I suppose I should be mindful of the fact that I will need Vardy in GW27 to replace Ighalo (I will need an extra 1.8m to fund this).

0.6m in the bank (2 transfers) – so I reckon I will have 13.6m to split between a defender and a midfielder. Any ideas?

        • inittowinit says:

Maybe a Saints defender. As for the midfielder it’ll have to be a punt on someone as there’s nobody obvious jumping out that has a good fixture or doesn’t have a blank GW27!

My FPL league rival is so annoying.

    My team: http://fantasy.premierleague.com/entry/852728/event-history/25/

    His team: http://fantasy.premierleague.com/entry/1135519/event-history/25/

I’ve been trying desperately to find differentials but he keeps either 1, buying the same players as me or 2, stacking one team defence (all he has are Spurs/Arsenal players in defence!)

So frustrating. Maybe DGWs/wildcard/my triple cap chip will help me.

I’m thinking about doubling up on defenders myself. I’ve not done it before but it makes sense as long as you can live with some low scoring weeks. I’ve always looked for consistent scores each week but maybe doubling up is the way to go. I guess the proof is in the pudding here.
