Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 25 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15
GW25 is live! We hope you are somewhat happy with your transfers and are not a nervous wreck because of some last second captaincy change. So kick your feet up or hide behind the couch (your choice) and let T.J. deliver all the team sheets for you. Nothing like a dose of midweek games to keep us all sharp and our FPL players all tired. GW25 kicks off with 4 fixtures including FPL favourites Arsenal with a seemingly easy fixture to accumulate a ton of FPL points. The early games also include a game that promises a cure to insomnia when Hull and Villa tangle in a bore-fest. Which is almost matched by the tension in the air at the Stadium of Light when road warriors QPR look to tickle the Black Cats. Tuesday night is capped off with an intriguing game between Liverpool and Spurs in a battle of future English national team disappointments Kane and Sterling. Wednesday sees six fixtures in all, including some very compelling games. By compelling, I mean better than those on Tuesday. Chelsea welcome the Toffees into their home in what could prove to be a tricky fixture, for 20 minutes or so. LVG’s men receive Burnley and the only real question is what formation will the Dutch manager play and how many players will be OOPs in his line-up. We also see Saints receive the Hammers in an interesting match-up and Stoke look to spook City at the Britannia. In the two late games, world renowned manager Pardew sees his old team come in for a visit, while the Baggies host Gary Monk’s men to help us finish the GW off.
Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the woofbet.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so it is very easy to keep track of how you are doing. If you are in the money slots let us celebrate with you, if you are doing terrible let us laugh a little.

Anyone else feel fucked over by Wenger? My plan was to bring in Giroud for Pelle and get in Sanchez next week, but when Giroud was benched I took a hit and got rid of Fab and ADM for Sanchez and Mane instead. Now I’m stick with Pelle and really don’t know who to bring in for him as Giroud doesn’t seem certain to start anymore >.<
Uuurrrgghhh
Don’t know the issue with Giroud. I know dude was limping a lot in the Spurs game. Like Sanchez/Caz were limping a lot in this game. And I turned off the game but I see Ramsey was subbed right after he came on, another injury.
Worst mistake of the night was playing 2 defenders versus Fer (whom got really bad injured himself). In the past season Fer always screwed me and dude always managed to score against my defenders, haha. WTF was I thinking picking 2 Sunderland players in the back. Geeeeeeezzzzzzzzzz.
Anyway, Mane could do really well and Pelle can always come good again. JWP needs to bring in some good crosses.
Haha raz..
u tease me for cappo giroud as im asleep when transfer deadline.
btw do u think it is good move to bring costa against burnley n bench him for blank gw
How many players do you all have left to play?
6 for me.
(Kun / Terry / Ivanovic / Silva / Hazard / Clyne)
Just 4. *cries*
Azpi/Kompany(Hatty potential)/Hazard/Kun
Good players at least.
Players most people in the top 10k should have covered. 😉
5 for me with 23 points already in the bag.
(Terry Jones Hazard Puncheon and Kun)
Does anybody know how injured Sanchez is?
11 days till the next game, as Raz mentioned.
And now Sanchez is yellow flagged………….knew I should have held off for a week but got caught up in the sheep mentality……… :/
Same here mate. Let’s share the agony.
He’s the type of players though, you feel if you don’t take a punt on him you’ll lose out big time. Anyway, now I think about it. I could’ve made a worse decision. The plan was all along to replace Wally with Sanchez (and not take a hit). If I did that I’d have 4 points from cap Sanchez (no 7 from Wally) and 0 points from Giroud (instead of the amazing 2 points Defoe gave me). Now all that has to happen is that Silva absolutely stinks tomorrow.
Yep hear what you are saying but a player coming back from injury especially a hamstring takes time to get back to all guns blazing.Even Sanchez !! The fact Wenger played him up front made all our eyes light up !! Yeah Silva blanking would soften the blow.I’d hang on to wally.Wish I had him.
I am on 20 from 5. Still have Terry, Wisdom, Hazard, Aguero, Pelle and Boyd to come though. Anyone know the average score for the top 10k?
No idea on the top 10k but –
Overall – 12 points
Top 1000 – 20 points
Including BAPS
Shaping up to be a classic GW.
Pretty good GW for me until now
More than average and 6 players still remaining hoping for 60-70 points if Puncheon and Berihno can perform better !
Nice going Yash – green arrows coming your way!!
Haha yeah, after using WC I have got good number of points 83, 70 and now 27 😉 Hope score above 60 this weekends as well
Btw whats your score Cookie ?
I’m on 39 so far Yash – Clyne, JT, Hazard and Kun to go. Could be another interesting night ahead!
That’s superb recent scoring mate, good to see a wildcard that has been used well, seems to be a rare occurrence.
Will be hard for Clyne to keep a CS but then Southampton have been giving CS a lot ! Jt, Hazard and Kun are in my team as well, hope they fire us to 70+
Indeed intresting night ahead 😉
Let’s hope so Yash
Morning Cookie,
Nice haul so far pal.
morning GP,
Yeah worked out well, so far! Always dangerous having too much of a view halfway through a GW though.
Decided to ignore Alexis as I’m chasing and bought Theo and Sturridge – shame Sturridge didn’t score any of his glorious chances!
How’d you get on?
Cookie,
Sturridge is on my radar having watched that game last night. Not at his optimum but very sharp nonetheless. Think that’s a very good buy for you. Nice one.
I have 22 points. Kane (AGAIN!) my only success story with 11 points. Boy is a wonder. Pantillimon, Bellerin, Hutton, Cazorla and Defoe bombed and correct captain alluded me once more with Sanchez.
Terry, Hazard, Fabregas and Aguero tonight but I fear more red arrows.
GP, 22 pretty good on reflection and many, many of us let down by Sunderland and certain Arsenal, so I wouldn’t be too pessimistic. Plus tonight can change everything with the players you have.
Sturridge I think will come good – was at least getting lots of chances so hopefully his finishing improves as he’s a nice differential with a proven record. Until he gets injured again.
10 points with 5 to play sheesh what a mess
Who was your captain? If played it was probably Giroud 😛
I had sanchez and guy catching up with me in work league has aguero so could b disaster for me tonite
Geoffreys
I backed Sanchez for the captaincy as well. Changed it last minute too from Defoe so it could have been way worse. I do still have Hazard, Fabregas and Aguero in my locker who are all prime cappo material.
We take the rough with the smooth pal.
40 with 5 to play. Cracked not just the top 1k but even the top 500. Wasn’t expecting that, at least not this early, I must admit!
gkw
That is brilliant going sir.
Very well done. Keep it up!
Thank you fine sir And, hey, looks like Lady Luck may be favouring you this GW as well. Fingers crossed for today, then
Great stuff well done
gkw
Each week I think the luck will turn but getting to the average score seems the limit of my powers just now
Good scores from Chelsea and Aguero will help my cause there’s no doubt. Onwards!
Gkw, awesome work pal, keep it going. Top 10 here you come!
well done, mate
Geoffreys, 10 is still only 2 below average this GW! Maybe all it takes is a CS for West Brom and you’ll have green arrows as well. Good luck!
heres hopin! ta pal
