Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 25 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 25GW25 is live! We hope you are somewhat happy with your transfers and are not a nervous wreck because of some last second captaincy change. So kick your feet up or hide behind the couch (your choice) and let T.J. deliver all the team sheets for you. Nothing like a dose of midweek games to keep us all sharp and our FPL players all tired. GW25 kicks off with 4 fixtures including FPL favourites Arsenal with a seemingly easy fixture to accumulate a ton of FPL points. The early games also include a game that promises a cure to insomnia when Hull and Villa tangle in a bore-fest. Which is almost matched by the tension in the air at the Stadium of Light when road warriors QPR look to tickle the Black Cats. Tuesday night is capped off with an intriguing game between Liverpool and Spurs in a battle of future English national team disappointments Kane and Sterling. Wednesday sees six fixtures in all, including some very compelling games. By compelling, I mean better than those on Tuesday. Chelsea welcome the Toffees into their home in what could prove to be a tricky fixture, for 20 minutes or so. LVG’s men receive Burnley and the only real question is what formation will the Dutch manager play and how many players will be OOPs in his line-up. We also see Saints receive the Hammers in an interesting match-up and Stoke look to spook City at the Britannia. In the two late games, world renowned manager Pardew sees his old team come in for a visit, while the Baggies host Gary Monk’s men to help us finish the GW off.

  1. My punt on Sturridge paid off, but I am really annoyed that I played Bellerin instead of Downing.

  2. What the chuff do I do about Kane? Opted for Defoe with my Jan WC but Kane hasn’t stopped scoring! Seems silly to bring him in now 1gw before his blank especially when I have Eriksen, Terry & Haz who will all be missing but can I afford (points and money wise) to wait until the dgw?

    Any suggestions? Currently have Giroud – Defoe – Aguero up front.

      I’d hold until his DGW and then get him in (providing he’s fit obviously) by any means. I’m sure you have someone somewhere else you can downgrade to make it happen.

          I haven’t even looked that far ahead but I think the Chelsea boys are at home to Burnley unless I’m mistaken? Another hard week to select.

          To be honest my gut feelings aren’t working out so I may just captain who tops the captains poll for a bit. smile

        • There’s a case for just leaving the armband on Kane every week !! Apart from his blank of course.Would be interesting to compare stats of just leaving the armband on the same player every week and switching it about as we do !!

          A bit down yeah but nowhere near as bad as i probably would have been in previous seasons. Older and wiser now mate.

          Yeah I was bringing Raz back from the brink of insanity last night as you might have seen.

          There you go then Giroud eh? That’s that idea stuffed. I’ll stick to picking the captain no matter how bad I am right now. smile

        • I went from Euphoria mode to utter and complete desolation and depression. laugh

        • If I planned it out right and just didn’t go with last minute Sanchez move, just got home and I felt pumped for the games. I heard he was playing upfront. I should’ve just went with Giroud to Defoe and keep Silva. If I did that I’d have capped Wally and wouldn’t have taken a hit. Meaning 14 points instead of 4 and no -4 from the Sanchez move. I’d be 12 points better ahead with Silva still playing. Did I get the math right? Hahaha. Was 14 points better but 0 points from Giroud and 2 from Defoe, yes, 12 plus 5 players left to play.

          Hmmmmm. I think I would be in the top 1k if I did that. And yeah, it ain’t all bad. It’s just a game. Most important thing is that I’m still 70 points ahead of my nemesis (whom has cap Haz playing tonight though).

        • I know. But coming back from an injury you always need to be more careful. I could’ve used the money to get Costa instead with 2 FT’s and bench him for the blank. Now I have Defoe though, so not all bad. Like the Sunderland coach said though, Sunderland really need to work on consistency. For years they have the same problem, one match they do good and the next they utterly suck.

  4. Morning all what a nightmare GW Sanchez as Cap blank 19 points will be lucky if stay in top 10k I’m going to take a couple of hits in the nk few GW

    6 to play thou so I might scrap through to 30 pts this gw. Not what I was hoping for
