Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 25 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 25GW25 is live! We hope you are somewhat happy with your transfers and are not a nervous wreck because of some last second captaincy change. So kick your feet up or hide behind the couch (your choice) and let T.J. deliver all the team sheets for you. Nothing like a dose of midweek games to keep us all sharp and our FPL players all tired. GW25 kicks off with 4 fixtures including FPL favourites Arsenal with a seemingly easy fixture to accumulate a ton of FPL points. The early games also include a game that promises a cure to insomnia when Hull and Villa tangle in a bore-fest. Which is almost matched by the tension in the air at the Stadium of Light when road warriors QPR look to tickle the Black Cats. Tuesday night is capped off with an intriguing game between Liverpool and Spurs in a battle of future English national team disappointments Kane and Sterling. Wednesday sees six fixtures in all, including some very compelling games. By compelling, I mean better than those on Tuesday. Chelsea welcome the Toffees into their home in what could prove to be a tricky fixture, for 20 minutes or so. LVG’s men receive Burnley and the only real question is what formation will the Dutch manager play and how many players will be OOPs in his line-up. We also see Saints receive the Hammers in an interesting match-up and Stoke look to spook City at the Britannia. In the two late games, world renowned manager Pardew sees his old team come in for a visit, while the Baggies host Gary Monk’s men to help us finish the GW off.
Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the woofbet.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so it is very easy to keep track of how you are doing. If you are in the money slots let us celebrate with you, if you are doing terrible let us laugh a little.

Any suggestions on what to do with this lot? 2FT and £2.5M ITB.

    Foster, Myhill
    Clyne, Bellerin, PVA, Wollscheid, Hutton
    Sanchez, Santi, Haz, Punch, Tadic
    Aguero, Kane, Defoe

Thinking Puncheon or Tadic out but not sure who for. Any Hull or WBA midfielders worth a punt as they seem to have the best fixtures?

Hi Dignan, Tadic is the one I would lose. Replacement is tough, Stoke have good fixtures too. Don’t think there is too many goals in Hull’s or WBA midfield. Is Downing a possibility after this weeks fixture.

      Raziel says:

MANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mane will be the main man to have @ Soton. Wanted him but can’t have him yet. Must fix other issues first.

      • Dignan says:

Tell me about it. I went for Tadic on wildcard a couple of weeks ago as others in my league had Mane and Elia. I’m always a sucker for a differential!

        • Raziel says:

Mane was still a differential a couple of weeks ago. However, I thought he came back from injury plus AFCON. Has even been to Africa for the Afcon, or did he get injured before. Anyway, I knew he was the main man to have. Just didn’t expect him to be back so soon or else he’d be in my WC team. sad

        • Dignan says:

He got injured before the AFCON and didn’t go. I thought when he came back that Elia was the one likely to be dropped but looks like Tadic may be the odd man out. JWP is playing really well also so could be worth a shout to free up some funds.

      • Raz,

I fancy mane as well for my downgrade of Fabregas (should I choose to drop him for the BGW).

The guy with the highest score of 65 so far at this moment made 15 transfers (-56pts) for the week and he just wildcarded last week. WTF!!

Good afternoon everyone. I had a bad day at the office yesterday (19 points) like a lot of people did, still have 6 players to go though so I’m trying to stay positive. It’s gonna be a long wait with 10 days until the next GW and plenty of Cup and CL/EL matches before then. Plenty of time to overanalyze my next moves though, ha! Hopefully today’s matches go better for us, good luck you guys.

And you mate. Even though I have no captain playing I hope Chelsea and Aguero go nuts.

Even if it’s just for my own confidence!

same for you Red, im in the same boat so I’m hoping for some returns tonight and keep my nose in front. Might have to chalk this down to a bad GW and we can all move on.

    Pippin says:

Thanks to all those who talked me out of bringing Defoe in last night, and also to whichever rebel first advocated Hazard as captain. Going into tonight with 7 unplayed and feeling mildly positive. Good luck to all out there!

And yeah, some weeks will be shockers. We have to remember this and not kneejerk our way to making things worse with rapid transfers trying to fix things. Play the long game laugh

I agree, the long game is the way to do it Pippin.
Despite my captain being wrong in Sanchez I still managed to not make a transfer and now have 2 in my pocket for the upcoming blank / double gw

I have no one to blame but myself Pip! Thought I was awfully slick by keeping up with the last-minute team sheet news and went Giroud > Defoe just before the bell. Bit me in the arse!

20 pts with 6 to play, so fingers crossed!
