Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 25 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15
GW25 is live! We hope you are somewhat happy with your transfers and are not a nervous wreck because of some last second captaincy change. So kick your feet up or hide behind the couch (your choice) and let T.J. deliver all the team sheets for you. Nothing like a dose of midweek games to keep us all sharp and our FPL players all tired. GW25 kicks off with 4 fixtures including FPL favourites Arsenal with a seemingly easy fixture to accumulate a ton of FPL points. The early games also include a game that promises a cure to insomnia when Hull and Villa tangle in a bore-fest. Which is almost matched by the tension in the air at the Stadium of Light when road warriors QPR look to tickle the Black Cats. Tuesday night is capped off with an intriguing game between Liverpool and Spurs in a battle of future English national team disappointments Kane and Sterling. Wednesday sees six fixtures in all, including some very compelling games. By compelling, I mean better than those on Tuesday. Chelsea welcome the Toffees into their home in what could prove to be a tricky fixture, for 20 minutes or so. LVG’s men receive Burnley and the only real question is what formation will the Dutch manager play and how many players will be OOPs in his line-up. We also see Saints receive the Hammers in an interesting match-up and Stoke look to spook City at the Britannia. In the two late games, world renowned manager Pardew sees his old team come in for a visit, while the Baggies host Gary Monk’s men to help us finish the GW off.
Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the woofbet.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so it is very easy to keep track of how you are doing. If you are in the money slots let us celebrate with you, if you are doing terrible let us laugh a little.
Tuesday in full…
Arsenal v Leicester 7:45pm
Hull v Aston Villa 7:45pm
Sunderland v QPR 7:45pm
Liverpool v Spurs 8pm
Wednesday sees six fixtures to conclude GW25.
Chelsea v Everton 7:45pm
Man Utd v Burnley 7:45pm
Southampton v West Ham7:45pm
Stoke v Man City 7:45pm

How was your weekend mates?
Scored 65, pretty good just wish I had got the captain right :/
Opps not weekend 😛 *Gameweek
Yash,
Strange to say but your gem-packed midfield let you down this weekend.
Great score mate well done.
Yash, nice score. I ended up even better, on 72. Now 505th, could’ve been higher still with different team selection (23pts on the bench) but hey
Gkw
First off, congratulations on that ranking. Savour it!
A bench like that is painful but is a sign of a strong squad so look for the positive in it I say.
You’ve bettered my season best of 610 but as NZ Alex (100th) and I will testify staying there is a different matter. I really hope you can mate. Great going.
Past 3 weeks have been pretty awesome for me after using WC 83,66 and 65 almost double the average each time 😉 And will now have 2FT next GW
yash,
Love hearing that mate. Keep up the good work. Sounds like the WC has been an astounding success.
I’m after some green arrows and ever the optimist, I’ll get them next gameweek!
GP, I’ve just been looking at your game week history to see if there’s something wrong with what you’ve been doing compared with me.
And, wow, I don’t see any really obvious explanation. No big difference in TVs, no daft numbers of hits, we both played our season WCs early. Even this GW, 7 of my 11 are the same as yours (but hey, despite that I somehow scored 30 points more). Quite a conundrum! Maybe my having a stronger core defence (Clyne, Terry and Ivanovic) accounts for some of it, but I’m not sure that can explain it all. Luck? – well sure, but that should even out somewhat. So my hunch is it’s something like transfer “philosophy” – like, maybe you look more closely than me at upcoming fixtures while I look more at recent (and also career-long) form?
Best 3 Chelsea players to have? I currently have Hazard, Fab and Terry but with Costa coming back I was looking to pick him up (drop Berahino) but am debating on which Chelsea player to drop for him… suggestions? Also, is it best to do so now or wait until after GW27 when they’ll be off? I have 2 FTs so that is not an issue. Thanks!
Also, here is my current team
isaac
Fabregas is totting up the yellow cards and I understand not that far away from a potential suspension so that makes him my favourite.
I have the same three as you.
Morning all , Well really bad GW 42 points red arrows everywhere & no GW for 2 wks I will go & crawl under a tree somewhere
Silvers
Come on . . .
Look at my history and cheer yourself up. Honestly, I’ve been there in previous years and would physically sulk after a bad week. Now I laugh and look forward.
You have a good squad there mate.
Silver, GP is 100% there – you have a very nice squad, great rank and you scored 44pts not 42pts, so happy days!
One bad week mate. Pull yourself together man!!
Cookie,
I see we are now on exactly the same points for the season!
I noticed that this morning GP, shame on you lad, now you know how the other half live!!!
Cookie
Half way between the gutter and the stars!
Cheers GP & Cookie feeling a bit sorry for my self hear what your saying on to nk GW cheers again
Well done GP that’s a great attitude to have!! I’m currently in free fall as well (not to ur high standards though!!) from 2k to 30k in last 8 weeks, yes ive been very spoilt!!Just can’t seem to get a break at all but after each Gw uv just gotta dust yourself down and go again next Gw! If u get to the end of the season and look back and say u gave up halfway through or didn’t give it your best shot or didn’t try as hard as u could they u may as well not play at all!!
It may compound my problem but I’m gonna fight my way out of this with situation with an assault on that transfer button!!! 😉
peaky
Morning pal.
Very well put. If you don’t enjoy it, then why bother? When I realised I was getting upset by it a season or two back, I thought to myself ‘no one is forcing me to play’. I could just stop. But I love football, feel very knowledgeable about it (as are so many on here) but what I can’t do is predict the future.
Timing is key and the captaincy crucial.
I still feel I have another huge GW or two in me
The law of averages suggest we might stumble across 1 every now and again!
Had another bad week this week and the person in second place in my mini league is catching up quickly so I need to pull my finger out! My team is :
Foster/Panty
Jones Bellerin PVA Wisdom Bertrand
Sanchez Silva Hazard Di Maria Ward-Prowse
Aguero Kane Giroud
Got 2 free transfers thinking of doing Silva and Giroud out for Costa and either Downing or Siggy
What do you think? Any help appreciated

Lots of time yet to decide on potential transfers. There are FA Cup games to go this weekend and you may have problems to deal with following those so I wouldn’t rush anything just yet.
But this far out I see potential problems in Phil Jones (injury) and Andre Wisdom (loss of place).
I think your front eight are immense to be honest and I wouldn’t rush transferring any of them out. Costa plays Burnley but then has a blank week remember.
The FA are looking at the video from last nights game of the altercation between Ivanovic and McCarthy to see if any retrospective action needs to be taken on Ivanovic.Personally I don’t think anything will come of it but if there does I suspect it might upset his manager!!
Ivan the terminator, I wouldn’t want to mess with him
Turned my 18 pts into 51 with sanchez doing nothing as captain and 3 players blanking completely, I can’t be too upset with that, it could’ve been a lot worse.
Managed to save a transfer this week too, which I’m sure i’ll use for the blank/double.
Lets see what happens in the FA cup and Euro games first.
