Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 26 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 26GW26 is live! After days of deliberation your transfers are done and your captain is picked. So now it is time to sit back and watch the points roll in, hopefully. Our main man T.J. should have the line-ups with you soon, to get the GW going. Saturday sees no lunchtime action as we have six games starting at 3pm. Stoke pays a visit to Villa park and have left all their keepers at home, daring any Villa forward to score. Chelsea receive Burnley in what is the first of two easy game-weeks. Pardew and Wenger battle it out for sexiest man alive when Arsenal’s midfield dwarfs visit Selhurst Park. Hull City welcomes in QPR in a bit of Sunday League action. Pulis leads his all out attack to face a Sunderland side that is looking to achieve mediocrity. In Swansea we will see a Siggy sighting as they look to fend off the sideways long ball attack of LVG’s men. In the last game of the day City welcome in the Toon, who they have managed to pummel 15-1 in their last 5 EPL meetings.
Sunday brings us the last 3 fixtures starting with a lunch time kickoff. Spurs one man show Bale Kane looks to add more goalkeeper scalps to his ever growing collection as the hammers come in after their FA cup disaster. That is followed up by the Toffees rolling out the red carpet for last place Leicester who are always a sight for sore eyes. The GW is concluded when the Saints look to derail Liverpool’s charge for a Champions League spot, in what looks like the best game of the weekend.

Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the woofbet.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so you can see yourself becoming rich right before your very eyes.

Defoe is set to drop. Already at -130 percent and he’s dropping 10 percent every hour. If he is starting his flag will change to green and he’ll be set back to 0 percent right?

Morning peeps. Good luck to you too Cookie and all. Hope it rains points!

Here’s my team for GW27 by the way. Pretty sexy eh? Ha, it looks awful, but I’m sure most are in a similar position.

I could also buy Wollscheid for Baird, but that would mean no Rose next week, tough call really.

Ha! I read your comment wrong, and for a sec thought this was your team for this week! laugh
Good luck mate, and yeah, everyone’s team will be pretty horrid looking next week.

      • jamesimmo says:

        Hahaha! laugh That would be… tragic… :big-lol:

        Cheers mate.

      • NIN says:

Also – Have you made an MLS draft yet? I’m really considering going without Robbie. So, so dangerous, but Zardes may step up big time this season, what with Lando not there anymore.

        • jamesimmo says:

I haven’t even checked the site out yet no! When does the season start? That’s an interesting proposition, but with the severe budget constraints I think I briefly saw on here earlier, it could pay dividends.

Last season I came about 600-700th and fluked the H2H league by just making gut-instinct early transfers based on very little other than fixtures and form. My actual MLS knowledge is poor. More of the same clueless managing this season I expect! laugh

        • NIN says:

Not for a while yet, James. Season opener is March 6th. Squad size and budget is the same as last season but the values are making it really tough. Even the MLSBoss guys are struggling, and many seem to be going with no subs at all, until a heap of value is built. Essentially, it’s a budget of 92m for an 11 man squad with inflated player values. Really tough.
Yeah my knowledge of the league is pretty low too as last season was my first time actually paying attention to it. I’m starting early this season, though, in an attempt to give me a better chance of doing well. No point in gut-early-moves this season mate. The price change system has been turned on it’s head. I really like it. However, it’s going to make it very painful some weeks.

        • NIN says:

The nightmare scenario is DGW defenders. Lets say you have Hedges, and in the first game of the double week FC Dallas take a spanking and he gets 0 points, that could well be a -0.2m drop already. Then, if he goes into the next game and gets sent off that’s another -0.2m in itself, plus another -0.2m for having a shit score. That’s a 0.6m loss plus a horrible DGW score. Yikes

        • jamesimmo says:

I see, cheers, that’s good info. The ‘no-sus’ approach is the one I’d probably take anyway as an amateur so that’s cool.

That price system is insane! Both insanely cool and insanely scary at the same time. No sell-on fee just ups the stake even further…

…now, if you have a bad week, you get screwed over twice! The opposite is true too of course… this should be fun.

        • jamesimmo says:

          *no-subs, that is.

Yeah, that’s a frightening thought, as you’d be powerless until the market reopens at the end! Ouch.

        • NIN says:

Yep. There will be some glorious moments, as well as some horrific ones! Right, i’m off to put the dinner on before the footie starts. Catch you later mate. Good luck

TJ’s 2 o clock update carries a lot of weight this week; Aguero rested for Tuesday? Bellerin? and the obvious Jermaine question. Bring me good news mate
