Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 27 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 27GW27 is live! We hope the transfers and captain choice have left you feeling confident, well at least until the games start. Hopefully you have accounted for the blank this GW and will see the points roll in, even in the absence of Chelsea & Spurs players. The game-week kicks off with a Saturday lunch time affair. And by affair I don’t mean to imply anything about Pardew and most certainly not Big Sam; as we all know Allardyce would never be unfaithful to that piece of chewing gum. Anyways after the Hammers host Palace we see five fixtures fly our way with a 3pm start time. The Clarets receive a visit from Swansea in what promises to be an unwatched game. We also see Sunderland visit the ever reliable United defence at Old Trafford. St. James Park welcomes in Tim Sherwood and his ego. Saints look to rebound by sending in Pelle to attack the Pulis bus despite the Italian being unable to score past a tricycle, in forever. Last but certainly not least we have ‘Los tigres’ of Hull City go and try and deal with the ‘much harder than Barcelona’ Stoke side at the Britannia.

Sunday brings us the last 2 fixtures starting with a lunch time kickoff. The Merseysiders see a desperate City side come in for what looks to be the fixture of the weekend. Many will remember when Liverpool won the title last season in this exact fixture. It was glorious! In the last fixture of the GW we see Arsene ‘Snow White’ Wenger and his seven dwarfs attend to the Toffees and their prolific couldn’t hit the side of a barn door Lu-ka-ku.

Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the woofbet.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so you can see who will be treating you to a beer or two when the GW ends.

Saturday in full…

West Ham v Crystal Palace 12:45pm

Burnley v Swansea 3pm

Man Utd. v Sunderland 3pm

Newcastle v Aston Villa 3pm

Stoke v Hull 3pm

West Brom v Southampton 3pm

Sunday sees two fixtures to conclude GW27.

Liverpool v Man City 12pm

Arsenal v Everton 2:05pm

    Guys

On quickly to apologise for the captains tips who went today. Very poor. Hope you ignored. laugh

Got 23 after BPs with Bellerin, Sanchez, Cazorla, Silva and Aguero (C) to play.

Can’t believe it looks like Bertrand is getting me BPs. Thought I’d messed it up when i transferred in Bertrand instead of Dawson based on the result!

Hope we’re all doing ok tonight.

Hi all, disappointed by Jones and ADM, but today slightly saved by bps for Krul, Wolly and Bertrand (!?)

Now planning transfers for tonight and tomorrow night, got 2fts, but think this is worth a hit?

Jones –> Rose (tonight, before price rise?)
    Defoe –> Kane (tomorrow)
    Di Maria –> Silva (tomorrow)

I already have Erik, not Austin though, planning to keep Giroud. If not worth a hit, which transfer should I drop?

Nishant, that’s around average this GW. My team managed 19, compared with its average of 70 over the previous 11 GWs, tho I do have 5 more players yet to play.

      • TomW13 says:

i am 21 with Bellerin, Cazorla, Sanchez and Aguero(C)

      • nishant says:

I managed to rise from 71k to 70k in my iverall rankings though. Haha

      • Evening gkw, i see that if you had got rid of Puncheon in the FF247 team, they would be 14pts down, i think the transfer they did may have a good outcome.

        • gkw says:

Yep, elle, fair play there – they did fine hanging onto Puncheon and not signing Siggy (who didn’t even play) instead like I suggested.

That said, I still reckon they should get rid of Baird, PVA, Defoe, Johnson and Jones.

        • I think 2 of that bunch will be gone with their 2fts for Tuesday + Wednesday nights games.

        • gkw says:

Defoe to Austin and Johnson to Chadli? Or bring in Rose in defence?

        • inittowinit says:

You’d take Chadli over Eriksen? How come? Asking as I’d considered him myself as a differential to everyone likely having Erik. Although that’s not always a good thing!

        • TheDreamers says:

I wouldnt be terribly surprised to see Davies play one of those games. Whats the story with Berahino? He injured, half injured ? I’m not sure a QPR player is worth it really.

        • Raziel says:

Both Ideye and Berahino injured. Ideye needed help coming off which usually is a real bad sign.

        • gkw says:

Init, I only suggested Chadli because (as I understand) FF247 doesn’t have the cash to upgrade their deadwood to both Austin and Eriksen. But now that I think about it, they sold Hazard to raise cash for Eriksen. So I guess they’re sticking with Defoe (who’s not as dire as some of the others) and replacing a defender, probably Jones, with Rose.

I’m not sure which Spurs player to bring in, if any. The two games (Swansea and QPR) will be their 3rd and 4th in a 9-day period, so tiredness and rotation will be risks.

        • GKW, Some thoughts. Eriksen doesn’t come across as a rotation risk to me. He played every single minute of every game between 23rd Nov and 07 Feb including, most tellingly, the busy winter period, a notorious rotation minefield. I’d say Rose is in danger of only getting one game this DGW though, because in Davies Spurs have a relatively high-profile, capable replacement. You may prove to be right with Eriksen being rested, but history doesn’t support it.

PvA is surely worth keeping until GW33, no? Hull, Villa, WHU, New, Cry. 3 of which are at home. You could make the same argument for keeping Defoe and Johnson. Jones was ill yesterday, so the only true deadwood is Baird.

I know that your stellar ranking buys you a heap of credibility in criticizing the FF247 team, and they’re certainly there to be scrutinized. That’s of course why they post their team. But let’s be fair… they’ve had an astonishing season so far!

        • gkw says:

Thanks, Bryan – I was wavering over bringing Eriksen in because he was only a sub against West Ham (I don’t know what the story was there, but evidently they missed him). He’s a player with good enough prospects to keep for the rest of the season, which is what I’m generally looking for.

        • inittowinit says:

Ah ok. Yeah they’ve got enough cash for both. Even says so in the article. Thought you’d gone all ‘Puncheon, Siggy, Foster and Reid’ on us again there.

Hi guys, how’s my team looking? Thinking of doing Pelle-Austin as one of my transfers. 2FT and 0.6 in the bank. Thoughts?

WTF? Naughton BPS stolen. F-ing bitches.
