Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 27 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15
GW27 is live! We hope the transfers and captain choice have left you feeling confident, well at least until the games start. Hopefully you have accounted for the blank this GW and will see the points roll in, even in the absence of Chelsea & Spurs players. The game-week kicks off with a Saturday lunch time affair. And by affair I don’t mean to imply anything about Pardew and most certainly not Big Sam; as we all know Allardyce would never be unfaithful to that piece of chewing gum. Anyways after the Hammers host Palace we see five fixtures fly our way with a 3pm start time. The Clarets receive a visit from Swansea in what promises to be an unwatched game. We also see Sunderland visit the ever reliable United defence at Old Trafford. St. James Park welcomes in Tim Sherwood and his ego. Saints look to rebound by sending in Pelle to attack the Pulis bus despite the Italian being unable to score past a tricycle, in forever. Last but certainly not least we have ‘Los tigres’ of Hull City go and try and deal with the ‘much harder than Barcelona’ Stoke side at the Britannia.
Sunday brings us the last 2 fixtures starting with a lunch time kickoff. The Merseysiders see a desperate City side come in for what looks to be the fixture of the weekend. Many will remember when Liverpool won the title last season in this exact fixture. It was glorious! In the last fixture of the GW we see Arsene ‘Snow White’ Wenger and his seven dwarfs attend to the Toffees and their prolific couldn’t hit the side of a barn door Lu-ka-ku.
Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the woofbet.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so you can see who will be treating you to a beer or two when the GW ends.
Saturday in full…
West Ham v Crystal Palace 12:45pm
Burnley v Swansea 3pm
Man Utd. v Sunderland 3pm
Newcastle v Aston Villa 3pm
Stoke v Hull 3pm
West Brom v Southampton 3pm
Sunday sees two fixtures to conclude GW27.
Liverpool v Man City 12pm
Arsenal v Everton 2:05pm

CAZORLA!!! 2 Goals and 2 Assists Please! And Save my Season …
Morning all, how has everyone gone so far? Sooooo pleased I did Punchon to Silva 😉 Still long term I’m sure it will work out.
Question; my plan had always been Cazola to Erikson this week. Do we think this is a good move? I know Caz is playing superbly but he seems to have been moved deeper recently and getting points from penalties. Would love an Arsenal fans/knowledgable persons perspective on this? If I do this the only gunners cover I will have is Sanchez. Cheers.
Hey Kiwi – how about that for a game of cricket yesterday!
I’m have a similar dilemma myself – I’m thinking Walcott to Eriksen this week (which would leave me with Ozil for Arsenal coverage). Historically, the DGW can underwhelm, though, so I’m still unsure.
On that note, boy I hope my (C) Walcott starts tonight!
Morning Alex – I hope you are well?
Even though caz is playing deeper he still takes a lot of the set pieces and is of course the pen taker!! I did cazorla to Ozil last week and I have regretted it ever since! I’m looking to bring in eriksen this week and depending on what happens today it will be for walcott or Ozil maybe even sanchez!!
Good morning all!!
How we all getting on so far?
Currently on 17 with kun (c) walcott silva Ozil and sanchez to play & Hutton to come in!!
Hey Mitro – please assure me that Walcott will start today!
I wish I knew mate – you would expect wenger to make some changes after that Sham on Wednesday!! Got a feeling giroud will be starting on the bench!!
Gents,
What transfers would do for this DGW?
Current team;
I have 1.3 ITB
I guess the question is whether you want to divest of 3 Arsenal MFs. If not, then I’d suggest losing PVA and use the bank to upgrade to a 5.0m+ defender.
Blue moon – defo losing one of my arsenal players this week!
Was thinking of doing Ozil/walcott to eriksen and maybe Defoe to austin!!
Defoe to Austin without hesitation mate. I’m doing the same thing this week.
Walcott out for Eriksen seems the most likely.
Hi dreamers – yes mate was thinking that move. Would you also consider Defoe to austin?
prob not. They are two tough fixtures and the Sunderland fixtures are nicer.
How about Walker? Fear Rose could be rotated. He is a tad expensive though
Morning all! Morning Mitro
I believe anyone who owns Defoe will be making that move to Austin.
Morning bash!! I hope you are well mate? I see you have put a nice run together and got yourself in a really good postion!! Well done mate!! If I do eriksen and austin my team would look like this as you can see I would be faced with another dilemna on who to start and who to bench
Mitro, thas a beast of a team mate. I suppose it would have to be Ozil who would sit on the bench. Problem is, is whether Eriksen or even Kane will start both games?
Then you have to question if its worth -4?
I hate DGW’s :cuss:
Austin will defo play both games and considering they are at home both times he has a better chance of getting on the scoresheet!! Now spurs are out of the europa leage and depending on what happens today they could be left just chasing down another europa spot so spurs may have to go out all out to salvage their season!!
That said – if Giroud doesnt start for me today, I may look at Austin myself
Hi Mitro, those 3 Arsenal mids always make me smile! Anyway I think you need to look at Eriksen at the very least so you may need to take a call on which of the 3 amigos to bin. I don’t think carrying all 3 is sustainable as they won’t all play every week by any stretch and are all very expensive given that.
Morning Initt,
I was having flashbacks to last seasons blank/dgw yesterday when Puncheon was running riot! I may buy him for the dgw just on principal! Cant believe you dont have him mate!
Fantasy football flashbacks. That’s when you know you’ve got a problem!
That or the knowledge you were a radio / tv personality in the dubious 70s.
Init – I agree mate one maybe two of them are coming out most likely it will be theo! Unless he starts and bangs in a few today
Would you consider austin for defo?
Yes I would mate. You’ve got a top 3 striker with 2 games.
I made that change yesterday.
(But don’t let that put you off)
James – dont worry mate hes coming in
Good choice Mitro.
Honestly there are not a lot if dgw players I’m interested in given current form and taking their fixtures into account.
I remember last year, fielding pretty much a whole team if dgw players, but this week is slim in pickings .
Anybody else still amazed that Puncheon got the assist, Murray got the goal and Cresswell wasnt dicked with an own goal! :cuckoo:
I’m aware this conversation may have already taken place, but I missed it
I’m fuming mate – my rival has creswell so I need that -2 added on
I was watching it live and thought straight away, own goal Cresswell, assist to Murray. No assist to my mate Puncheon! BBC even stated it should go to the dubious goals panel!
Do you think they could award the own goal today?
I’m not sure mate. I don’t actually know how that side of it works. It can happen though, as I expect any O’Shea owners will be waiting to have à -2 stuck on them!
Im that desperate for those points im tempted to email FPL
What do we think the average will be this week
A. Overall
B. For to 1000 players
Pretty low I guess – unless kun explodes.
Morning, James. Somewhere in the 30-45 point region, i reckon. Bit toward the low end for overall and bit toward the high end for top 1k.
Ok. That feels achievable.
