Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 28 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

140304130146-michael-owen-bt-sport-horizontal-galleryGW28 is live! Keep your eye on those team sheets as 3 fixtures will be caught with their pants down and reveal everything to us. What will Timmy Sherwood do with his line up? I am sure that is a question that will have us on the edge of our screens, as they host Mr. Pulis and his merry band of attacking talent. Also Hull City receive Sunderland in what will be a battle of clawless Kitties and Pardew takes his men to the shores of Southampton where he hopes he can go on a double date with the Italian Stallion Pelle.

Wednesday brings us seven lucky fixtures. We are likely to see the Citizens maul Leicester in what hopefully promises many Aguerooooo screams…or a pulled hammy in the 4th minute. In other action, LVG takes his side for a visit to a wee club in the north east, where he hopes to leave Phil Jones. We also see former Monaco coaching legend Arsene Wenger make his way through London for a fixture at Loftus Road where they hope to make QPR borrow their white flags. The Welsh are going to London in a trip that promises to make the wags of Swans players happy as they can get some shopping in and their men distraught as they take a back a probable late winner from Harry and a high credit card bill. The Brittannia plays host on a cold Wednesday night, but a scarier sight for Everton fans could be Tim Howard in goal. Chelsea pay a visit to the Hammers where they hope to pop their bubble and in the last fixture of the day we see Liverpool play host to Burnley. Thankfully for fans of the Merseysiders this game is unlikely to end with a penalty shootout.

In the last game of GW28 we have the second game for QPR and Spurs to complete their double. Where I am sure Harry will break the Hoops hearts with a late winner.

Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the woofbet.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so you can see who will be crying happy tears. Hopefully is YOU!!!

I love how 5 of my attackers returned points tonight (with 4 goals and 1 assist) and it was Kane and Aguero – the ‘big two’ for captaincy this gameweek – who didn’t… laugh

Austin and Rose points hurt a little but I can’t complain.

How did you guys get on?

Hey james, I’ll be on 61 after BPS with Kane (C) and Eriksen to play again obviously. Nothing spectacular but I didn’t take any hits and I didn’t disrupt my team chasing the DGW, so I’m feeling pretty good about it. What did you end up with?

      • jamesimmo says:

Hi Red, nice one mate, yeah that’s the same approach I took: didn’t go and take hits for Austin or Rose etc.

If the bonus point allocations are as they were when I last checked then I’m on 61 too – with Kane and Eriksen left – what a coincidence haha!

FFFix projects me 56 and a drop (albeit of only 4) in my ranking. So need Eriksen and Kane to do better than Austin and Rose on Saturday, else I’ll be looking at my first red arrow since 1 January.

      • jamesimmo says:

That’s a very nice record to have gwk eh? I seem to get red arrows all too often… that’s still decent scoring though. May well come out green again. I’m with you on Eriksen + Kane > Austin + Rose there.

It amazes me that United won again tonight. >.<

Based on the first half Arsenal were really lucky. Second half they dominated til the Austin goal. Sanchez showed glimpses of genius again, he's back I hope.

The fight for the fourth and third CL spot continues with Arsenal/Liverpool/United all being 1 point apart from each other. United are so freaking poor but they are still in the race. Pool was poor the first part of the season but they’re good now. Arsenal is sort of hot-cold like Spurs.

      NIN says:

Newcastle deserved a draw. The goal was hilarious.

        • NIN says:

Ouch. I’d be lying if i said anything other than, i love it! Huge three points for United

        • jamesimmo says:

Screbby 3 points at that..! 😉

Could be crucial come the end of the season. I reckon you’ll just edge fourth. If you miss out then there’ll be scenes!

        • NIN says:

The way Liverpool are playing, i think we’ll be doing well to squeak into 4th. You never know though!

      • Raziel says:

Noticed Falcao didn’t even come off the bench. HAHA. Di Maria being subbed as first and Falcao not even playing. I think LvG would’ve had a better United had he played with last seasons squad. Not only that, I’m certain of it.

        • shanec says:

Utd terrible they brought carrick on before falcao. Lvg looking for a draw. They got very lucky with a win.

        • NIN says:

Falcao should never play for us again. Di Maria doesn’t even want to be at United. There’s an argument for getting rid of him in the summer too.

        • shanec says:

Di Maria could go somewhere like psg

        • NIN says:

On this form, they can have him. We’re better off playing kids who will actually fight for the team. Di Maria and Falcao have been disgraceful.

Right, MOTD time. Catch you all in a bit.

        • am4r77 says:

NIN, I wouldn’t say that di Maria has been disgraceful but he truly hasn’t been the player for us like he was at Madrid. We payed a hefty price too get him in the team aswell, he made quite an impact at the start of the season but not as much now. Hopefully we can see the change in the next game or two we need him to be the player he was at madrid as for falcao he should get shipped back to Monaco, he clearly hasn’t been the same and we need to invest that money somewhere else.

        • NIN says:

I beg to differ, mate. Considering the money it costs to have him, his performances have been woeful bar the first handful of games. Januzaj is outplaying him regularly. Disgraceful.

        • inittowinit says:

Try having Naismith as your playmaker for a season and let me know how that turns out 😉

        • NIN says:

At least he works hard, but yeah, you make a valid point 😉 The wheels have really come off for your lot. Pesky Europa always seems to make a balls of domestic campaigns for English teams. Reckon Martinez will see the season out?

        • inittowinit says:

He’ll get this one and the next one at least assuming we stay up.
We are not a club prone to rash decisions regardless of any ‘crisis’ situations. Sacking him now doesn’t make any sense and we won’t. After all he’s a good Championship manager………..

        • NIN says:

Hahaha, now that’s what i call forward planning 😉

        • NIN says:

These MLSBoss guys are a bloody nightmare sometimes. Getting no replies too RMT’s, i’m not sure if that’s a good or a bad thing. Seems pretty clique-y over there.

        • NIN says:

Why did i hyphenate cliquey? Weird laugh

        • inittowinit says:

Hi NIN, sorry missed this. Which is quite ironic! Not been on Boss yet this season but if it’s still that rolling comment format then I’m hardly surprised you get missed. It’s basically a one-off chance rather than being able to leave a stationary comment and hoping someone spots it and helps. That said considering I only ever go on for 20 mins before the deadline every week I do generally find them welcoming and helpful.

        • NIN says:

The rolling forum is useless. I got the same shit last season, too. They’ve even taken me out of the reg’s league for this season! How is anyone meant to be a reg when the best they can do is go on the forum and talk to themselves? Place is a bit too cliquey for me.

Eriksen and Austin lose their BP’s. Alexis picks up one.

BPs are out – I’m on 59 with Eriksen and Kane (c) left – decent.
