Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 28 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

140304130146-michael-owen-bt-sport-horizontal-galleryGW28 is live! Keep your eye on those team sheets as 3 fixtures will be caught with their pants down and reveal everything to us. What will Timmy Sherwood do with his line up? I am sure that is a question that will have us on the edge of our screens, as they host Mr. Pulis and his merry band of attacking talent. Also Hull City receive Sunderland in what will be a battle of clawless Kitties and Pardew takes his men to the shores of Southampton where he hopes he can go on a double date with the Italian Stallion Pelle.

Wednesday brings us seven lucky fixtures. We are likely to see the Citizens maul Leicester in what hopefully promises many Aguerooooo screams…or a pulled hammy in the 4th minute. In other action, LVG takes his side for a visit to a wee club in the north east, where he hopes to leave Phil Jones. We also see former Monaco coaching legend Arsene Wenger make his way through London for a fixture at Loftus Road where they hope to make QPR borrow their white flags. The Welsh are going to London in a trip that promises to make the wags of Swans players happy as they can get some shopping in and their men distraught as they take a back a probable late winner from Harry and a high credit card bill. The Brittannia plays host on a cold Wednesday night, but a scarier sight for Everton fans could be Tim Howard in goal. Chelsea pay a visit to the Hammers where they hope to pop their bubble and in the last fixture of the day we see Liverpool play host to Burnley. Thankfully for fans of the Merseysiders this game is unlikely to end with a penalty shootout.

In the last game of GW28 we have the second game for QPR and Spurs to complete their double. Where I am sure Harry will break the Hoops hearts with a late winner.

Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the woofbet.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so you can see who will be crying happy tears. Hopefully is YOU!!!

Can’t complain with 58 with Kane(c), Chadli, Eriksen and Austin to come

54 points with Kane, Eriksen and Rose (hopefully) to all play. Took a -8. Got overtaken by my rivals for the first time of the season. They close a 100 point gap in a month. Dayum I am doing badly. Perhaps time to use that wildcard now instead of waiting for the other DGW. Quite disappointed that we only have 2 DGW this year to be honest….and not the best looking DGWs….sighs….sighs…..cries….

Morning all that didn’t quite go to plan 52 points after 4 point hit still got Kane (looked tired) Austin & Eric to come but so dos everyone else , need to sort out def was saving cash for Costa but Sturridge & the Pool looking good but there nk 3 games not easy

      Silvers

I have 54 with Austin (thanks Init laugh ), Eriksen and Kane (C) to play and I’m content with that.

Your score isn’t bad at all at this point.

Liverpool are looking good. Get Sturridge in!

      • Silverback says:

Cheers GP my def was really poor & yes like the look of Sturridge but Costa has 3 easy games coming up 😉

      • inittowinit says:

No probs GP 😉 Silvers that feels like an average ish score for those actually playing so I wouldn’t worry too much! Liverpool have the more challenging run with Swansea (a), Man United (h) and Arsenal (a). Can’t see Chelsea getting many against Southampton next though either but then it’s Hull (a) and Stoke (h) so they should do well in those two. Who would the new striker be replacing?

        • NIN says:

I’m pretty set on buying Skrtel for GW29. GW’s31&36 are the only ones that are a bit iffy, for me. They’ll crucify United at Anfield.

        • Silverback says:

Morning NIN are you keeping hold of Austin & upgrading your Def I think I might double up on Sou def they have a really good run in & are pretty solid

        • NIN says:

That is my current plan, yes. Palace and Everton next up for QPR is actually pretty good so i think i’ll keep Austin for those games (his goal against Arsenal yesterday was superb too). I also have no Liverpool players at all and need a solid defender, so in my opinion buying Skrtel makes sense for my squad. His ownership is really low too, and he’s picking up heaps of BPS.

        • Silverback says:

Morning Init I would be replacing Austin , although need to keep an eye on Kane cheers mate Might leave Austin in for nk wk then make change

      Morning Silver,
48 pts with Rose, Erik and Kane to play but as you say, so has everyone else.
I’ve still got a healthy lead in my main ml so it could’ve been worse.
Anyone know why Erik had bps and then lost them?

    Vinci says:

    Hello everybody,

I think that am gonna play my WC this week. I would go from this team:
    Foster // Guzan
    Taylor-van Aalcott // Hutton-Jagielka-Jones
    Hazard-Silva-Eriksen // Sanchez-Boyd
    Aguero-Kane // Austin

    To something like:

    Foster // Schmeichel
    Taylor-van Aalcott // Koscielny-Bertrand-Mac Shane
    Hazard-Silva-Eriksen // Cazorla-KiSung
    Aguero-Kane // Giroud

My main concern is my defense, that rarely gives me more than 1/2 points per player. I also want to substitute Austin after this GW. To fund this, I need to downgrade an expensive player: Sanchez.
My main interrogation regards Cazorla. But I figure that I would exchange the duo Eriksen-Cazorla for a preimum and a cheap midfielder once their nice fixtures are over.

But you would certainly do somethind different? 😉

    • 155.1

      Vinci

Austin and Sanchez or Cazorla and Giroud is a matter of taste and I prefer the Cazorla and Giroud one.

I don’t think you have improved your defence greatly there. I prefer Guzan to Schmeichel. Think you’ll save money going Naughton instead of Taylor. I would rather have any West Brom to van Aanholt. Koscielny doesn’t start last night but i do expect him to play most of the rest of the games but the worry is there. Bellerin seems a safer Arsenal bet.

      Silverback says:

Hey Vinci without seeing what you are paying for players I would do Taylor > Naughton or Dawson he has a few good fixtures coming up I thk I would put Azp in over Kos if you can for the DGW if you need cash you could also do Ki Sung > Cork have you any cash left

      • Vinci says:

        Good feedbacks, once again, thanks!
I did not have any money left with the previous team.
If I include your good ideas, I come out with this team:

        Foster // Guzan
        Taylor // Dawson-Bellerin-Bertrand-Mac Shane
        Hazard-Silva-Eriksen // Cazorla-KiSung
        Aguero-Kane // Giroud
while still having 0.9 ITB. The Bellerin miracle!

I would tend to stick to Taylor since I bought him early. I would sell him for 4.6, so switching to Naughton would only bring me 0.3 that I do not particularly need right now.
As far as Azpi is concerned, I am always afraid of Jose’s rotations…
And I fancy Ki Sung, especially given Swansea’s next fixtures: Aston Villa-Hull-Erverton-Leicester from GW30 on…

        • Silverback says:

Yes looks good Vinci here what your saying 😉

        • DMC says:

Hello Vinci, do you really want to play your WC this week? You don’t really need it imo.
For GW29 you can field an XI with
          Foster (h)
          Taylor (h) PVA (h) Jags (h)
          Hazard-Silva-Eriksen-Sanchez
          Aguero-Kane-Austin
          How can that go wrong?
Also, if your prob is defense and have no money just ditch Jones (5.2) for Bellerin or Zouma and that will give you the CS and a spare cash for the WC when you need it.
Adding to that I wouldnt overlook the fact that GW30 will be followed by Champions League games for City and Arsenal which probably makes it best to play the WC after that.
Well, whatever you decide, best if luck! smile

        • Albertini says:

Vinci, agree with DMC here. I’d rather hold your WC and use it later around Gw34 when there will be at least a DGW for Chelsea and Leicester.

DMC, only now I’ve noticed you are a Tuga too, really good to see a fellow countryman around here!

        • Vinci says:

          That is a tough one…
This is certainly not the best time to play it (I would love a massive DGW!!), but I am afraid that the later I use it, the less impact it will have when I reshape my team.

But you are right, I could wait for a couple of weeks, and target the DGW34 as a final deadline…
          I really do not know!

        • Albertini says:

You just need to fix your defence, midfield and forwards are very good. I’d keep Austin and Eriksen and would probably sell Jones and/or Jagielka to Alderwiereld (but he has Che this gw) Bellerin, Dawson or even Zouma.

        • NIN says:

Vince – I agree with DMC and Albertini. There is no need to play your wildcard this week. There’s not a lt your wildcard can do that cant be done with a FT or two. I’m not seeing much need for it in GW34 either, if i’m honest, as it’s not likely to be needed just to add a Chelsea player. Two max. Personally, i would be eyeing up the last few GW’s and see could i use it to set up for a push late on in the season.

        • DMC says:

Albertini!! Or should I say Alberto!! Eheheh I also notice you are in #2 in Portugal overall! I wish you best luck to get the #1
          Cheers, e um abraço,

        • Albertini says:

          Obrigado David DMC! 😉
          Good luck you too, abraço!

This didint go to well, 48 points with( eriksen, kane and austin to play).

Got 5.6m in the bank and i FT. My plan was to do Austin to Costa this week but now i dont know.
Maybe try tioget silva in for Sterling or Caz or maybe Eric?
Do somethings about my defence, getting skrtel in ?
Or maybe dumping Heaton for a 4.0 goalie to free up 0.6 mil?

    • 156.1
      NIN says:

Hi Wafflez. Firstly, i would definitely play Eriksen ahead of Walters. Cazorla -> Silva sounds like a good move to me.

      • Wafflez says:

Thanks Nin smile been thinking more…. Spurs got some nice fixtures after this gw so Eriksen is a keeper. And i dont feel like i need Costa yet (will try to get him before the dgw).
Not sure about if im gonna do Caz or Sterling to Silva yet smile
Need som upgrades on my def but its not worth a -4 for that i think
