Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 29 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

140304130146-michael-owen-bt-sport-horizontal-galleryGW29 is live! And is it ever with a thrilling lunch time kick off at Selhurst park. Palace receive road warriors QPR in what promises to be at least as good as their first encounter, which ended in a goalless draw. That cracker of a game is followed by 4 games including Arsenal versus the Hammers. This promises to be the most interesting fixture from a fantasy perspective. Although the Hammers have only won one in their last 11 so I am not sure how much of a fight they will put up. The Black Cats will be full of confidence against Villa as the law of averages says they are due a win, having only won twice in their last 18. We also see ‘The Championship’ quality Leicester side receive barely good enough to be in the EPL Hull City. But just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, not to worry as we also have the Baggies welcome Stoke. This being the same Baggie side that managed to lose to Villa twice in less than a week. Thankfully we have a late kick off to rescue this Saturday set of fixtures with 19th place Burnley, OH FFS!! playing City in what is sure to be one way traffic. Geez, that was a depressing Saturday. This would be a good day to take the family out and ignore the EPL, but if you just can’t pass up watching then let it us know your thoughts in the chat below inbetween naps.

Luckily Sunday sees a far better set of fixtures, but with your luck this is the day the missus will pick to want to have a nice family day, outdoors. Mourinho’s men take on Southampton in a match-up of the leagues two best defences. The Toffees receive the Toon, in what looks to be a draw-y affair. As Roberto’s side has drawn their last 4 at home and Newcastle are in the ‘whatever’ stage of their season, safe from relegation and too far away from any European spots. We also see LVG welcome could have been Arsenal legend Harry Kane and his Spurs side to Old Trafford. Hopefully we will get to see another master class in the long square pass from United, as we all continue to learn from the wealth of knowledge emanating from the Dutch manager.

In the only game on Monday, Swansea entertains Liverpool. The Merseysiders have accrued 29 out of a possible 33 points in their last 11 games as they continue their mad dash to claim Arsenal’s 4th place trophy.

Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the woofbet.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.

I don’t know what I want more, an Aguero brace to win the game or Mee to keep a clean sheet

Silva off, lol. Pellegrini zombie attack.

Man city play better when they play Aguero up top on his own.Fact ! Since Dzeko came back from injury and they bought Bony they have scored less goals. But Pellegrini is too stubborn to change the formation back even when it is obvious it isn’t working. It will be his downfall !!!! :shake:

Pellegrini is a hero. What now? 8 strikers on the pitch? No Silva or Yaya.

      • Brookyboy says:

The spark has gone from the team. When Aguero was up top with Silva in the hole they played much better. What I don’t understand is why change the formation when they were playing well just to squeeze dzeko or Bony in ?? But to not even try and change it during a game when you are losing and not playing well and hoping something will happen is piss poor !!

Well, this has been a pretty crap gameweek so far. Almost went with Giroud for captain at the last minute but kept it with Silva and had Giroud as vice. Need some big points from my Sunday players, hoping Bertrand does something as I have him as 1st sub for Bellerin.

Same here! I saw Giroud’s stats against West Ham and thought “captain material” but only viced him because I didn’t dare not give it to Aguero.

      • Brookyboy says:

Same, wanted to give it Giroud but didn’t trust him and was afraid what Aguero might do !

      • RedVT says:

Yep, I bottled it too james. Kicking myself right now. On top of that Walters’ face is smashed in or something and he’s flagged, so I’ll need to ship him out possibly. Can’t have any deadwood with blanks on the horizon.

        • jamesimmo says:

But feelings can be dangerous… but today it would’ve paid off. Ah well, onto the next one Red eh, and that’s a shame about Walters!

        • RedVT says:

Yep, thems the breaks. Should be on 27 after BPS and I still have 5 to play, so all’s not lost this week. Not off to a very good start though! How’d you end up mate?

        • Raziel says:

27 not a good start? 7 here! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

        • jamesimmo says:

It’s a good start by this week’s standards mate!

I’ll be on 31 after BPs – with 9 points lost over the captaincy – and a further 9 lost (that I’d never have claimed) with Boyd sat on the bench.

It’s a funny old game! laugh

Okay, I accept my faith. City losing to Burnley is kind of funny. 7 points for me with 5 players left. Hahaha.
