Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 3 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 36GW3 is live! Well back to a Saturday kick-off. This time we are treated to a match-up between Man United and Newcastle. If United’s first two games are any indication, there should be no need to watch. Unless of course if you enjoy watching an Italian distract a man right before he hangs onto his neck. The rest of the Saturday games are all at 3pm. Villa travel to Selhurst Park for a meeting of the two best managers. We also see Leicester welcome the defensively interesting Spurs and by interesting we mean crap. The Canaries look to face an EPL team (Stoke) this week instead of the Sunday league team they faced the previous week. Hopefully we will see Kop’s favourite player, Shaqiri. Swansea travel to the Stadium of Light to collect 3 points and score about 5 goals. Payet takes on Bournemouth in the last of the 3pm games.

On Sunday we have three fixtures. The Baggies have the wounded Champions pay a visit, in a fixture to determine who is the better side of the ones that lost 3-0 to City. Everton will look to pose a threat to the Champions to be, as City pay the Toffees a visit in a fixture that pits two of the more exciting attacking sides so far. The Saints pay Watford a visit in the last of our Sunday games. Will Deeney finally score? Will Southampton finally look a respectable defensive side?

Monday night sees the game-week come to a conclusion. As Liverpool travel to the Emirates in what we all hope is the best fixture of the GW. We can’t wait to see Theo bag a hat trick, just like last week. #WengerKnowsBest

26 points from 5 players so far. Happy with that and i still have Costa, Aguero, Sanchez, Sagna, Azpil, Kone left so its looking like a good week.

Alright so I dropped from 27 points to 19 in the last 20 minutes. I’m getting 4 bonus points, so I’ll be at 23 from 5 players. Disappointed to lose 2 cleanies in a matter of minutes, but happy to take 23 with 6 left to play. Cédric, Wanyama, Sánchez, Hazard, Yaya Touré and Captain Agüero.

Enjoyable afternoon lads, chaotic second half’s! Mahrez goal along with nout from Ritchie & Payet in a seven goal thriller are my main disappointments but Defoe’s 8 points make up for it, slightly.

Looking forward to tomorrow for captain Kun!

Watched the Norwich – Stoke game. Here’s a brief report on key players:

    NORWICH:
Defense is still suspect. Won’t keep too many clean sheets
Hoolahan: fantastic passing, he’s an assist machine in the David Silva mold
Redmond: The new Frank Lampard. Runs with the ball, passes, shoots, superb. Could have scored two or three.
Jerome: Big, athletic, fast, awareness of space, think Les Ferdinand. Excellent choice for third striker.

    STOKE:
Butland: excellent saves, nailed on for the rest of the season, surely.
Rest of defense: dodgy, really missing Shawcross.
Midfield: sometimes they do the Stokalona pass-pass-pass, other times they just hoof it up to Diouf. Weird. Shakiri looked good but too one-footed for my taste.
Diouf: mostly excellent, strong and fast, but also a couple of brain farts. Got pushed out onto the wing for Joselu but his speed kept him going.
Joselu: absolute waste of space. painful to watch, really.

Seems like playing the WC paid off, at least for this GW. Disappointing from McCarthy, Williams, and Payet especially, but can’t complain with 39 pts after bonuses and Kolarov, Silva, Sanchez, and Aguero (C) to come.

Did anyone watch the West Ham v Bournemouth match btw? Seemed like Bournemouth’s goals mostly came due to bloopers by West Ham.

It sure sounded like a comical game Teks.

Mahrez, Diouf and Gomis would’ve all been in my WC squad (like yours?) so, coupled with the team value, not wildcarding may be a big regret for me…

…but on the other hand I would’ve ditched Wilson!

Sounds like yours has gone really well.

I didn’t watch the game but i did keep up with the live updates of all the games. WHU collapsed in the first half and didn’t get much better in the 2nd, from what i read. Cresswell & Ogbonna were reported to be the main culprits, particularly Cresswell.

Hey everyone! I hope all of my fellow FF247’ers have had a good saturday afternoon, collecting monster scores.

23 from 5 for me, 5 offensive players and 1 defensive player left to play.

    Tell me about yours. smile
