Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 3 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16
GW3 is live! Well back to a Saturday kick-off. This time we are treated to a match-up between Man United and Newcastle. If United’s first two games are any indication, there should be no need to watch. Unless of course if you enjoy watching an Italian distract a man right before he hangs onto his neck. The rest of the Saturday games are all at 3pm. Villa travel to Selhurst Park for a meeting of the two best managers. We also see Leicester welcome the defensively interesting Spurs and by interesting we mean crap. The Canaries look to face an EPL team (Stoke) this week instead of the Sunday league team they faced the previous week. Hopefully we will see Kop’s favourite player, Shaqiri. Swansea travel to the Stadium of Light to collect 3 points and score about 5 goals. Payet takes on Bournemouth in the last of the 3pm games.
On Sunday we have three fixtures. The Baggies have the wounded Champions pay a visit, in a fixture to determine who is the better side of the ones that lost 3-0 to City. Everton will look to pose a threat to the Champions to be, as City pay the Toffees a visit in a fixture that pits two of the more exciting attacking sides so far. The Saints pay Watford a visit in the last of our Sunday games. Will Deeney finally score? Will Southampton finally look a respectable defensive side?
Monday night sees the game-week come to a conclusion. As Liverpool travel to the Emirates in what we all hope is the best fixture of the GW. We can’t wait to see Theo bag a hat trick, just like last week. #WengerKnowsBest

Relief. Hopefully tomorrow goes well, to the tune of Aguero going bananas 😉
Afternoon all.
Looks like a third disaster week in a row for me. 9 points from 5 players. And i took a -8. Oh dear.
Outside of the elite top 3 million players now.
The only way is up!!!

****CALLING ALL NFL FANS****
Completely unrelated to my appalling start to the FPL season, i was thinking that if i can get enough interest, then i’d set up a draft NFL fantasy league for any FF247 regulars that are interested. We’d need at least 8 players to make it worth while. – Ideally we’d get 10 or 12.
If you’re interested, please email me: iaingrant79@hotmail.com
It’s a draft format, which means we’d need to do an actual draft (ie. we take it in turns picking which players we have on our squad – No one NFL player can be on more than 1 team). The draft date would probably be at some point between Thursday 3rd and Sunday 6th September. – We’d find a date that worked best for everyone.
Anyway. I’ll re-post this a few times over the next week or so, and if we get the numbers then it’ll be a goer. (And i did my first one last season, knowing absolutely nothing about NFL. It’s great fun. And a relatively short season. – All done by early new year.)
Cheers.

I’m in Chins! Absolutely love American football! I am a Cowboys fan myself. I don’t know much about NFL fantasy though, so I won’t have an advantage there.
I will email you later tonight.
Thanks all those that have got in touch. The FF247 Eggballers draft league is full up, locked and ready for the draft on Monday.
Good luck to all.
31 (-4) from 6. Bloody Jenkinson trying to ruin what has otherwise been a good start to the GW.
Aguero (c), Benteke, Toure, Hazard & Cedric to play.
24p from 4 players, wilson saved my ass haha. Where do you guys keep track on players rising and falling? Havent found any reliable yet…Sterling, Cazorla, Mings, Oshea and Wilson have dropted.
Fantasy football fix seems reasonable (running at c.90% accuracy) to me.
Any others popped up this year?
Hey guys ‘n Gals. Not happy I chose Jenkinson over Francis grrrrr, but with only 2 having played I’m not pulling my hair out yet.
Q I have is what are your views on red carded players?
Last season I finished 4th in mini league with less than 98mill itb, but this season I’m trying to keep an eye on my finances ready for the 2nd half of the season. I presume that a red carded player will usually go down in price during the 3 weeks he’s not playing, perhaps by .2. Is this right? If so do you think its best to FT him out b4 his price begins to fall, or not worry too much regarding this and look at strengthening the team. I cant imagine Jenkinson rise in price dramatically at any time.
I’m specifically looking at Hazard –> Silva for GW4 as I feel Silva and Kun are going to destroy them.
Only 2nd FPL season so any advice / tips would be helpful.
Thanks guys

Red is unfortunate but he is only banned for one week, in a game you may have benched him in anyway. I’d keep Hazard and maybe swap out Deeney for Wilson? Keep an eye on tomorrows games before doing anything though.
