Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 3 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16
GW3 is live! Well back to a Saturday kick-off. This time we are treated to a match-up between Man United and Newcastle. If United’s first two games are any indication, there should be no need to watch. Unless of course if you enjoy watching an Italian distract a man right before he hangs onto his neck. The rest of the Saturday games are all at 3pm. Villa travel to Selhurst Park for a meeting of the two best managers. We also see Leicester welcome the defensively interesting Spurs and by interesting we mean crap. The Canaries look to face an EPL team (Stoke) this week instead of the Sunday league team they faced the previous week. Hopefully we will see Kop’s favourite player, Shaqiri. Swansea travel to the Stadium of Light to collect 3 points and score about 5 goals. Payet takes on Bournemouth in the last of the 3pm games.
On Sunday we have three fixtures. The Baggies have the wounded Champions pay a visit, in a fixture to determine who is the better side of the ones that lost 3-0 to City. Everton will look to pose a threat to the Champions to be, as City pay the Toffees a visit in a fixture that pits two of the more exciting attacking sides so far. The Saints pay Watford a visit in the last of our Sunday games. Will Deeney finally score? Will Southampton finally look a respectable defensive side?
Monday night sees the game-week come to a conclusion. As Liverpool travel to the Emirates in what we all hope is the best fixture of the GW. We can’t wait to see Theo bag a hat trick, just like last week. #WengerKnowsBest

It’s unlike me… but I have a strong temptation to WC and make the following changes:
Pants ? Butland
Cedric ? Kolarov
Ivan ? Azpi
Payet ? Mahrez (…should’ve played safe last week and bought him instead!)
Hazard ? Pedro
Sterling ? Silva
Mane ? Sanchez
However, when I type it out a lot of these look like sideways (and bandwagon) moves, plus I would’ve done similar last gameweek if I’d chosen to WC then… doing it now seems wasteful, as I won’t get all of the price-rise benefits that I could’ve done, had I played my WC the gameweek before.
Still, having no Mahrez / Silva / Sanchez is a big problem, in my eyes! Mane could be an issue too.
What do you think?
If you can hold out until next week then you have the benefit of the end of the transfer window. Will also give you something to do during the horror that is the international break.
Could be that you don’t even want to WC this time next week, which would be even better.

I’ll just have to hope Kolarov / Pedro / Mahrez / Silva / Sanchez don’t completely ruin me!
How are your FPL plans coming along?
Decent week so far. Tempted by Kolarov, Pedro and Wilson at the moment. I have quite a few changes that I’d like to make but not enough to warrant a WC. Suspect that’s the case for quite a few.

Is Mahrez now a must?
I’d do Ritchie to Mahrez. I wouldn’t say a must have but certainly high up there.
Mahrez is arguably a ‘must’ now due to his consistency and ownership but I’m probably going to delay getting him once again… GW5 home to Villa looks essential though.
Given your choice I’d probably go Ritchie —–> Mahrez.
Defoe has a decent fixture next and is producing.
Definitely Mahrez… looking very consistent! Wilson for me is more of an enabler so I could buy Pedro

Just checked again why’d he go from 31 to 28 after the match had finished??
It’s annoying isn’t it Matt! I’m gutted as if he’d gotten just 1 BP then I’d be on 56 points – which is double my GW1 and GW2 hauls of 28 points – but no… it’s a funny system. Very hard to make it perfectly fair mind.
It’s just really frustrating!! I heard he was one of Southampon’s best players so I really don’t know how they calculate it

I want to take out Depay and Grabban and get Redmond and Wilson For -4. I will most probably play only Wilson as Redmond is not having a favorable match next week but doing the move to gain on his price rise and to get money in the bank for Pedro move next week.
Is it advisable to take a -4 for Depay>Wilson basically?
Probably not.
I did that, but I wouldn’t say it’s advisable. The rest of my team has strong fixtures next week so I’ll expect to make up the -4 even if pedro doesnt deliver.
