Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 3 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 36GW3 is live! Well back to a Saturday kick-off. This time we are treated to a match-up between Man United and Newcastle. If United’s first two games are any indication, there should be no need to watch. Unless of course if you enjoy watching an Italian distract a man right before he hangs onto his neck. The rest of the Saturday games are all at 3pm. Villa travel to Selhurst Park for a meeting of the two best managers. We also see Leicester welcome the defensively interesting Spurs and by interesting we mean crap. The Canaries look to face an EPL team (Stoke) this week instead of the Sunday league team they faced the previous week. Hopefully we will see Kop’s favourite player, Shaqiri. Swansea travel to the Stadium of Light to collect 3 points and score about 5 goals. Payet takes on Bournemouth in the last of the 3pm games.

On Sunday we have three fixtures. The Baggies have the wounded Champions pay a visit, in a fixture to determine who is the better side of the ones that lost 3-0 to City. Everton will look to pose a threat to the Champions to be, as City pay the Toffees a visit in a fixture that pits two of the more exciting attacking sides so far. The Saints pay Watford a visit in the last of our Sunday games. Will Deeney finally score? Will Southampton finally look a respectable defensive side?

Monday night sees the game-week come to a conclusion. As Liverpool travel to the Emirates in what we all hope is the best fixture of the GW. We can’t wait to see Theo bag a hat trick, just like last week. #WengerKnowsBest

I didn’t WC and having a reasonably better week this week with 2 more Arsenal players (including Sanchez) to play tomorrow night. Hope everyone else is doing good.

    New Chips – Bench boost

    Hi
I’m new for posting on here tho regular read the articles, etc which are excellent.

Has anyone any thoughts when is the best time to play the bench boost. I did my wildcard last week and would have played the bench boost this week if I could as I have tried to get 15playing members on my squad. It just feels that soon after a wild card might be best as in theory injuries may not have kicked in, etc.

    Any comments appreciated

Hey Philips, best guess is to try and save the bench boost/triple (c)/all out attack chips for potential DGW’s later in the season.

        Hi
        Thanks for the reply.
That was my initial thoughts BUT the more I think about it I can’t see any benefit in playing the bench boost in double gameweeks as the players with single games will be on the bench won’t they, unless you have more than 11pm ayers with double games which I can’t see happening.

Other chips agree completely, but in two minds on this one tbh as at least next week I should have 15players playing and its not every week you can say that is the question that’s in my head.

        • Andy says:

It really depends on how big the DGW’s are as in theory every EPL team could have one, (All of the DGW’s are generally created by teams advancing in the FA cup rather then fixtures called off due to bad weather) and obviously it’s impossible to tell yet who’ll have one .
If it’s a big DGW I’d like to have my bench boost available to me whereas a small DGW would be perfect for a treble (c) pick.

Ideal time for bench boost although probably not many would do this: say the gw before you have a DGW you could use second wild card to get all players that will have a DGW to following week and then use the bench boost on the week with the DGW

But most will probably use it when they have players on bench with easy fixtures

    Evening all.

4 takers so far for the NFL league. Still more than a week and a half before the season starts, so plenty of time to get to 10.

    Guys,

Should I WC? I desperately need Pedro, Mahrez and Kompany / Kolarov in.

Since I am at, I want to shift out Ruddy for Myhill. And Westwood for Couquelin. Also shift out Ramsey for Sanchez.

Or should I just wait until transfer close to WC.

    Appreciate your advice.
