The deadline bell has rung, your team has been decided, your skipper chosen and there’s nothing else you can do about it, except sit back and hope you’ve selected well. All the matches take place at the weekend, no Monday night football this week and we kick off as Burnley entertain local rivals and current comedy outfit, Manchester United. Will the Red Devil’s new Angel inspire the team to a turnaround or will memories of Milton Keynes come back to haunt them? Five 3pm kick offs follow, while the early evening game takes place at Goodison as Everton host Chelsea. Three Sunday games follow, culminating with Leicester vs Arsenal.

Siggy is the Messiah!
I’m on 28 points (not included bps, which I haven’t checked yet, maybe I have none) with Fabregas, Costa, Terry, Hutton and Ramsey to play. If I’m lucky Chambers doesn’t start so Pieters can come in with 11 points for Dummet.
Can’t predict scores like that for Pieters but even if he doesn’t come in, his price will rise well over the break especially with Leicester at home his next fixture.

Ha, I captained him too Bob, nice one. Rooney’s off for me as well, although I’m thinking about Sturridge instead of Aguero now that Liverpool is through their difficult opening fixtures. Aguero let me down so many times last season with injuries, I’m gonna see if he can string 2-3 matches together before I consider him seriously. There are plenty of other options out there this season.
Yea I have Sturridge too – I’m considering Balo as a cheaper alternative tho…

Hmmm Caulker I get (they’ve been terrible). Was keeping my eye on Stoke since they have great fixtures ahead but they were poor defensively, well I guess not today. 😉
Ouch, just noticed Bojan didn’t even play today.
But dude, for real? You took out 3 defensively orientated players? That must have cost you a hit. It’s very hard to earn points back from defenders, they have to keep a CS. Never take a hit for a defender unless you have none left playing, I guess.

Oh me of little faith. Supporting a PL team is often a hindrance in this game. I went with Rooney as captain. I had a feeling about Siggy. Having him as VC hurts terribly at the moment.
