Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 3 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Photo 23-11-2013 11 44 40The deadline bell has rung, your team has been decided, your skipper chosen and there’s nothing else you can do about it, except sit back and hope you’ve selected well. All the matches take place at the weekend, no Monday night football this week and we kick off as Burnley entertain local rivals and current comedy outfit, Manchester United. Will the Red Devil’s new Angel inspire the team to a turnaround or will memories of Milton Keynes come back to haunt them? Five 3pm kick offs follow, while the early evening game takes place at Goodison as Everton host Chelsea. Three Sunday games follow, culminating with Leicester vs Arsenal.

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck for GW3 from all at FF247!

  1. Expecting 55 points with bonuses, 3 still to play, very happy.
20 points on the bench is always disappointing though.

  2. Captained Dzeko :/

Was laughing aswell after the United game and leaving Rooney as Vice, serves me right.

  3. I want do go Rooney and Dzeko to Aguero and Costa. Should I do them now, wait until after international games or keep rooney for another week?

  4. Jones getting 3BPS niceeeeee smile.

  5. Hi guys, haven’t been on in a while because I’ve moved to a college in the states and have been busy with student orientation all week, but I have a bit of free time now! Haven’t watched any PL matches this weekend, but I see there’s some surprising results. I’m not surprised City struggled against Stoke, but I never expected us to lose. And Chelsea beating Everton 6-3? What a statement!

  6. Existing

    Forster/Gilks
Terry, Debuchy, Van Aanholt, Baird, Chambers
    Ramsey, Mata, Siggy, Albrighton, Eriksen
    Costa, Rooney, Dzeko

    • or

      • Hey Dreamers: think I’d prefer Sterling and the spare cash in a 3-5-2 set up.

        • hey jamesimmo

Sterling over who and who would you drop up front?

          to wc or not?

        • Sterling over Sturridge.

Looking at your squad I don’t think I’d wildcard just yet. It’s all about your gut instinct – “do I need this wildcard” – hard to answer I know but think carefully before pressing that button.

        • question – wc or a minus 8 or 12?

      • I’d get Chester, Taylor and Duff rather than Dawson, Williams and Hutton.

        And either:

Henderson & Arfield instead of Albrighton & Larsson.

        OR

Sterling & Adebayor instead of Larsson & Sturridge

        • Hi EBC

          Appreciate the input

Is the defence you suggest really stronger?

          Mid has merit

          Forwards has merit.

key q – would you wc or not?

        • I’d say Duff is definitely better than Hutton for the next few months.

The rest isn’t necessarily better, it could go either way but what you do know is my suggestion is cheaper.

I’ll have a quick look at the fixtures of your current team…

        • Yes. I’d wildcard.

Defence is expensive with bad fixtures.
Mata and Eriksen aren’t looking good value.
Dzeko might not play and you may have better options than Rooney soon.

AND…there will no doubt be injuries/uncertainty from internationals.

          AND…transfer window changes.
