Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 3 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Photo 23-11-2013 11 44 40The deadline bell has rung, your team has been decided, your skipper chosen and there’s nothing else you can do about it, except sit back and hope you’ve selected well. All the matches take place at the weekend, no Monday night football this week and we kick off as Burnley entertain local rivals and current comedy outfit, Manchester United. Will the Red Devil’s new Angel inspire the team to a turnaround or will memories of Milton Keynes come back to haunt them? Five 3pm kick offs follow, while the early evening game takes place at Goodison as Everton host Chelsea. Three Sunday games follow, culminating with Leicester vs Arsenal.

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck for GW3 from all at FF247!

    Evening guys

39 with Debuchy, Ramsey, Eriksen and Sterling to play.

Planning a -4 tonight to give me this.

Thoughts on this going forward. Mostly 3-4-3.

      GP,
I assume you’re keeping Rooney for his next 2/3 fixtures and then offloading?

Gallant, are the early transfers and double Newcastle coverage done with an eye on increasing team value over the next 2 weeks?

    • 163.3

      Should have said sorry . . .

It’s Rivière and Eriksen out for Costa and King.

I plan to hold Rooney, Kun and Costa long term, except where injury might occur.

Red – I won’t play Krul and Janmaat together every week, I’ll rotate Forster in depending on fixtures but Janmaat is my success story this week. Fancied he would go well after seeing him last week at Villa.

      • RedVT says:

Ah, I see Gallant. Excellent call on Janmaat. I thought maybe you were bringing in Aguero and Janmaat early to ride the wave for the next two weeks and boost the coffers!

That looks like a strong front 3, but you may be a tad light in midfield. It would be nice to upgrade King or Davis when you’re able to. Aguero’s price makes things difficult though, so you have to sacrifice somewhere.

        • Red

Yeah Kun and Janmaat were already in before today’s matches.

I really don’t want to swap Sigurdsson, Sterling or Ramsey so I’ve got the three mids I really want and can comfortably carry Davis and King. Don’t even need to play either – some weeks I can play 4-3-3.

      • GP, I like it mate. Thats my dream frontline so well done for getting so early. My only real thought is (and I rarely say this about defenders) Ivan is being essential. He could have had two in both the last two games! Do you still have your WC available? How was your week?

        • NZ

          Evening mate.

Yeah the very same thing crossed my mind tonight on Ivanovic but I just can’t do it without going bust so I’ll settle for he poor mans version in Janmaat smile

WC is still there yeah and I got 39 today. Janmaat, Taylor and Sigurdsson the successes but let down by Rooney and Kun. Removed Costa for Kun when it could easily have been Rooney but these things happen. Costa back in tonight to stay I think. And I don’t like making early moves either – taking a bit of a risk.

        • GP, I normally am happy to make early moves but in your case id hold fire unless the extra 0.1’s are going to cost you your plan? I managed a 50point week with Peters coming in if Chambers doesn’t play. Happy with that! Whats your thinking on the City forwards?

        • NZ

I think any price change will destroy those plans and that is the reason I’m contemplating the hit and the early move. I’m well aware of the risks involved.

Delighted to see Kun getting 90 today. Must mean he is almost match fit and I’m sure he’ll be the main man for the next two biggies for City. Too much risk in involving anyf of the other three (including Negredo) for my liking.

Hope the autosub comes in to play for you sir. We all deserve a bit of sub luck from time to time.

        • GP, cheers mate! Actually talking to you has just firmed up my transfer plans for the next couple of GW’s so thank you smile Hope none gets injured for you over the international break!

Are people making transfers already? Would it not be best waiting till International games played to see what happens there?

Bench, you about? Is there a cut off for “benchish”?

Evening all, how are we? So whats peoples score this week?

    Raziel says:

Ok, 48 points with 11 points from Pieters on the bench. Dummet didn’t play so if Chambers gets no playtime tomorrow (fingers crossed, 50/50) I could get Pieters in. Also, Ramsey and Hutton still to play.
