Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 3 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Photo 23-11-2013 11 44 40The deadline bell has rung, your team has been decided, your skipper chosen and there’s nothing else you can do about it, except sit back and hope you’ve selected well. All the matches take place at the weekend, no Monday night football this week and we kick off as Burnley entertain local rivals and current comedy outfit, Manchester United. Will the Red Devil’s new Angel inspire the team to a turnaround or will memories of Milton Keynes come back to haunt them? Five 3pm kick offs follow, while the early evening game takes place at Goodison as Everton host Chelsea. Three Sunday games follow, culminating with Leicester vs Arsenal.

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck for GW3 from all at FF247!

Hey guys, team is scoring average again. Ranked like 700k which is disappointing. Should I take a large hit or play wildcard. Players like. Mutch, Caulker, Rooney and Mata need to go. Thoughts ? Thanks

Hearing Falcao to City might be closer than him going to Madrid.. Who would you choose between him and Aguero?!

    Evening chaps.

    Any thoughts on my team?

I’d initially intended on Wildcarding this week but not sure it’s worth it. I’m losing the love for Terry. It seems to be more Cahill that is getting forward for corners and making the last ditch tackles etc. Not to say that I’m considering Cahill. Not sure either is worth it. Thinking maybe taking him down to a 4.5/5.0m and then seeing what I could do with the cash. Any advice appreciated. Thanks

Hi chins. Just so you know, I’ve moved to the states so maybe you’ll get some company at night (my wifi connection is awful, so maybe not!)

You’re team is good, I don’t think you need to wildcard. Ivanovic is obviously the Chelsea defender to go with. Also, I’d rather have Pieters and Taylor over Begovic and Fabianski as they’re cheaper and have assist and bonus point potential.

      • Tekno, Great news mate! I look forward to introducing you to the proper Americans (and Canadians), the Asia early birds and the UK bedwetters.

Cheers for the advice. Although that looks like a few changes to me. Hmm,…….. That WC is tempting.

      Hi
I would not wild card, you have a good team and with the internationals next week I would wait and see until say GW5
Ivanovic is the Chelsea defender but expensive, cheaper options with generally good upcoming fixtures are Pieters, Janmaart with Taylor the lowest at 4.5

Hey partner, just before I head off will give you some great singles tips! First off, don’t go trawling around bars, it’s too seedy…

Secondly, that team does not look like it’s in need of WC attention! But some pointers:
      – I too am getting annoyed with Terry. Ivanovic is certainly looking like being worth the extra cash. He won’t score every game of course, but I said that after the first one and then he followed it up with a goal and assist in the two subsequent games. Annoying, as Terry got 3 in pre-season, but worth the switch I think.
      – Hutton has ghastly fixtures now, as I’m sure you’re aware of. Last priority though as you have everyone else playing so it’s doubtful you’ll need him over the next few GWs bar injuries.
      – Jelly doesn’t do anything for me, but can see why people go for him.
      – I’m still unsure whether or not to keep Rooney. He did look energetic enough today at least, but nothing fell for him at all and had no real chances. Hoping HGV can use the time between now and next GW to really get some cohesiveness in the squad, which will hopefully be bolstered further by then and also have some injured players back. Their fixtures are still good for a few GWs so probably worth hanging onto him.

The rest looks great to me. See you’ve gone for our keeper rotation in your singles too, paying off nicely so far smile

Hi mate. The first replacement I would look at for Terry is Lovren of Liverpool. A huge threat at set plays and Liverpool have a lot of winnable fixtures shortly. You’d save a million there.

Think your squad is in very good shape. WC a waste at this stage I think.

    Hey lads,
How’s the week going for you?
I scored decent with captaining Rooney I guess. I’ve wildcarded to rod my team of united. How’s it looking?
    Before and after.

What do people think about Pelle so far? Is he worth buying?

      Dave

I haven’t seen much of Southampton except for brief highlights but I think that it is safe to assume he is at least first choice striker and Southampton do have some appealing matches ahead. Apparently he scored a legitimate goal yesterday which was ruled out (although I haven’t yet seen it to comment properly).

Could prove great value for £7.5M. Who are you trying to replace?
