Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 3 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Photo 23-11-2013 11 44 40The deadline bell has rung, your team has been decided, your skipper chosen and there’s nothing else you can do about it, except sit back and hope you’ve selected well. All the matches take place at the weekend, no Monday night football this week and we kick off as Burnley entertain local rivals and current comedy outfit, Manchester United. Will the Red Devil’s new Angel inspire the team to a turnaround or will memories of Milton Keynes come back to haunt them? Five 3pm kick offs follow, while the early evening game takes place at Goodison as Everton host Chelsea. Three Sunday games follow, culminating with Leicester vs Arsenal.

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck for GW3 from all at FF247!

Hernandez to Madrid, Negredo to Valencia and Falcao to City.

    Tomorrow is gonna be fun!

Chambers CS and with a bit of luck maybe 2 BPS. Considering everything not all bad, only 3 points less than Pieters.

Expected to see all red arrows this week and a team in desperate need of repair…finished with 66 pts (20 extra on the bench) and a lot of gratitude for Kosc not soldiering on after the goal.

Arsenal game was perfect for me in terms of my FPL team and leagues.

      Raziel says:

I’ll be on 60 points. Think I’ll lose some spots from where I stood earlier today. From 48 points to 60 points, think most people gained more points than that today.

      • Mr Bean says:

        Raz,

        Average points gained = 16
        Average gained in top 10k = 14

        Youre not far off!

        • Raziel says:

Mehehe, if only Pieters would’ve come on I’d be on 15. 😉

        • Raziel says:

On that note, if Pieters did come on Chambers wouldn’t have played and that average probably would’ve been lower, I think a lot of people still have Chambers at the moment.

        • Mr Bean says:

Had him as 3rd sub so Chambers did me a massive favour!

        • Raziel says:

Same, he was my third sub but a defender needed to come on that would’ve been Pieters. 😉

On your wildcard issue from 1 post above us, I was in the same boat after the United game. Mata got no points, ROoney got nothing and I felt I had to change something. However, if you look at it: Yaya got nothing, Silva got nothing, Ramsey got nothing, Ozil got nothing, Santi got nothing and so on. Just noticed the 2 midfieldplayers with the most points are both from Swansea: Dyer and Siggy, lol.

Anyway, my point. I fear Mata will drop, Rooney will drop but I also think they’ll come good. They have easy fixtures ahead, still! It would be crazy to swap them for other player, I need to fix my defense. In your case, you are a 4 players ahead of me (mainly because of your defense).

        • Raziel says:

Terrible English and it should be 2 players ahead… Taylor and Clyne. I have Hutton and Dummet. Dummet didn’t play the last game and Hutton will have impossible fixtures from now on.

        • Mr Bean says:

          Raz,

The more I think about it, the happier I am with my team.

Almost all my players are playing and the core players are scoring points consistently. Pool cover till December is all i’m feeling is essential, and a new keeper, but i can easily keep the rest and be confident about scoring points.

        • Raziel says:

I’d be more confident if I bought Janmaat instead of Dummet. Felt like I had 4-5 playing defenders. Now I have 3 though I even fear for Terry, Mou was really mad at his defense after they conceded 3 goals. So Chambers and Dummet lost their spot (probably, unless Kos/Merte/Debuchy injure themselves) and Hutton has impossible fixtures. Really need to fix my defense before bringing in the likes of Sterling for Mata.

        • Raziel says:

And like I said, your team is great. A wildcard would be f-ing crazy. There will come a point in this season you will need it more.

      Andy says:

That’s two weeks in a row now that I’ve been bang on the Mr. Average number, not a good sign to start the season with although admittedly things could be worse.

    TJ says:

Arsenal poor really. I know they have Podolski, Walcott and Campbell who could all play up front, and Sanchez of course, but they really need to sign a striker. Remy would have been perfect but he’s off to sit on the bench at Chelsea.

Centre back, defensive midfielder or a CF by tomorrow and it’ll be fine.

FPL wise, a poor day. Sturridge, Eriksen, ramsey and Debuchy doing nothing for me. Both my teams are decidedly average.

67 points for me after BPs and auto-sub of Dummet > Chambers laugh

      Demsie says:

Nice one, decent score that is.

Terrible week For me Though mate.. Took costa out for Jovetic and capped him, and then kept chambers and Duff on my bench..

A 42 point stinker for me
