Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 3 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Photo 23-11-2013 11 44 40The deadline bell has rung, your team has been decided, your skipper chosen and there’s nothing else you can do about it, except sit back and hope you’ve selected well. All the matches take place at the weekend, no Monday night football this week and we kick off as Burnley entertain local rivals and current comedy outfit, Manchester United. Will the Red Devil’s new Angel inspire the team to a turnaround or will memories of Milton Keynes come back to haunt them? Five 3pm kick offs follow, while the early evening game takes place at Goodison as Everton host Chelsea. Three Sunday games follow, culminating with Leicester vs Arsenal.

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck for GW3 from all at FF247!

Well Mata going off with a tweaked hammy helps my decision making!

Just looking for an excuse to swap him for Fabgregas! 😉

FPL does some strange things to you. I have Rooney in my team but decided to captain Siggy instead of him, so this whole match I’ve been worried that he’d go crazy and score a load of points. So rather than root for him to get me points, I’ve been half-hoping that my captain pick is justified.

Does anyone else ever do that? I also find myself rooting for players in my fantasy team even if they’re playing against the club I support IRL. Like my fantasy team is almost more important than how my club does that week.

You’re not alone in FPL doing strange things to you Red. I think at this early stage of the season though we should just want maximum points from our team, whether it’s from the captain or not, as we still make up points on the majority of people who don’t have the player in question, and only lose points against a smaller percentage that did captain him.

As for wishing for results you wouldn’t normally want, I think we’ve all been there! Just now I was thinking well if we don’t score it’s not all bad as I’ll hopefully then have Duff ready to come in for Costa in case he is rested, which is shocking haha.
