Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 30 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

140304130146-michael-owen-bt-sport-horizontal-galleryGW30 is live! Ahhh, a lunch time game to get us going. Vinny welcomes in Gareth McAuley and the Baggies where he hopes to get some tips on how to defend properly from the Irishman. That is followed up by 5 games with a three o’clock start time. Swansea visit Villa and their all of a sudden high scoring side. Sherwood has managed to inspire and lead his men to goals in 3 of their last 4. Sounds like Manager of the Season material to me. The Newcastle French contingent watch their messiah Wenger come in to probably bless them with another defeat. Burnley will be feeling up for a go at Saints after beating City and restoring hope that they can yet crawl out of the bottom 3. In other action Spurs will be looking to rebound against Leicester after being the first team to be outsmarted by tactical genius LVG this season. Speaking of genius managers, Pardew takes his Palace side for a visit to the Britannia for a mostly fantasy irrelevant game. The Hammers look to get back on track against a reeling Sunderland squad, unfortunately for them the firing of Poyet could well mean that the Black Cats might come in prepared.

Sunday sees off the game-week with the last 3 fixtures. The lead game is a cracker of a game, as Liverpool welcome pugilist Wayne Rooney and his Manchester corner-men. After that bout ends we get the chance to witness CFC looking to skin a cat at KC Stadium. If they somehow can’t, I am sure Jose will blame the referee for handing them a dull knife or something. We close our GW with Charlie Austin continuing to try and impress current and future Premier League teams in 2015/2016 that his services can be used. Should be easy going for him as Everton are now due a streak of several losses if their record since November is any indication.

Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the woofbet.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so keep up us up to date on how you are fairing.

Two last minute goals ruin 2 clean sheets.

TJ, you’re including Villa there? That was a lost CS for my new signing Guzan, and in the real world Wattie also lost to a goal in the 6th minute of injury time sad Still, Eriksen got a late assist for me and I’m on 81pts after bonuses which is very satisfying. Thanks to Kane of course, but Bertrand and Clyne as well.

      • Raziel says:

Soton were very lucky to keep that CS. Forster was subbed off because of injury by the way. Anyway, Burnley really should’ve had a penalty, was crazy. The refs today were the most terrible I’ve seen in ages. Like every match had a major ref mistakes, deciding one. If you watch MOTD you’ll notice.

A high scoring week is just what the doctor ordered. Good to see so many of you doing well! On 72 after bonus myself I think. Ah, there goes Pantsu’s clean sheet. Bah, spoke too soon.

Is it crazy to sell Aguero for Sturridge? I have Kane and Giroud, but need to make up some ground in my ML. If I sell Aguero, then I can add Bertrand to my defense in place of Bellerin. Worth it?

I have Bertrand and think he’s definitely worth it. Thinking of selling Aguero myself, 12.8m firing blanks…but I know he’ll go crazy as soon as I transfer him out!
Sturridge could be a good differential. Costa ahead of the DGW too worth considering, but you’ve already got 3 Chelsea players I suppose.

      • Shrizzine says:

I know exactly how you feel about Aguero suddenly lighting it up again. I think Costa or Sturridge are decent shouts. Oh well, two weeks to mull it over! To get Bertrand in my side just might be worth it though.

Lady luck is either on your side or she isn’t. Soton very lucky to keep a cs since Burnley really should have been given a penalty. As it appears the whu goal should have been cancelled because of a foul. Bleeeergh. Only positive thing about that is that I benched pca and played Naughton.

Looks like I’ll be on 84 pts after bonus. Is it too much to ask for Hazard and Terry scoring at least 16 pts tomorrow?
