Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 30 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15
GW30 is live! Ahhh, a lunch time game to get us going. Vinny welcomes in Gareth McAuley and the Baggies where he hopes to get some tips on how to defend properly from the Irishman. That is followed up by 5 games with a three o’clock start time. Swansea visit Villa and their all of a sudden high scoring side. Sherwood has managed to inspire and lead his men to goals in 3 of their last 4. Sounds like Manager of the Season material to me. The Newcastle French contingent watch their messiah Wenger come in to probably bless them with another defeat. Burnley will be feeling up for a go at Saints after beating City and restoring hope that they can yet crawl out of the bottom 3. In other action Spurs will be looking to rebound against Leicester after being the first team to be outsmarted by tactical genius LVG this season. Speaking of genius managers, Pardew takes his Palace side for a visit to the Britannia for a mostly fantasy irrelevant game. The Hammers look to get back on track against a reeling Sunderland squad, unfortunately for them the firing of Poyet could well mean that the Black Cats might come in prepared.
Sunday sees off the game-week with the last 3 fixtures. The lead game is a cracker of a game, as Liverpool welcome pugilist Wayne Rooney and his Manchester corner-men. After that bout ends we get the chance to witness CFC looking to skin a cat at KC Stadium. If they somehow can’t, I am sure Jose will blame the referee for handing them a dull knife or something. We close our GW with Charlie Austin continuing to try and impress current and future Premier League teams in 2015/2016 that his services can be used. Should be easy going for him as Everton are now due a streak of several losses if their record since November is any indication.
Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the woofbet.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so keep up us up to date on how you are fairing.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for GW30 from all at FF247!
There are a bunch of price changes tonight which is damn annoying. Sanchez down, Giroud, Bertrand, Ivanovic rising
68 points with Haz, Terry, and Ivan to play and 11 from Clyne coming in as first sub to replace Ozil! Forster injury hurts as I took a hit to get him in. He’s a season keeper if he gets healthy though!
You benched Clyne? Jammy so-and-so 😉
Haha Burnley have looked like scoring goals the past few weeks and I thought they just might get on the score sheet. I thought Lstr look more like rolling over and playing dead, so I thought possible CS and attacking points for Rose. Looks like it didn’t end up mattering.
Also, I had Forster for Soton coverage, so I thought I would at least get 1 CS :/
Apparently Dawson should have been sent off today instead of McAuley. Any chance that Dawson could see a retrospective ban?
No. McAuley will have his ban rescinded though, assuming they appeal
Think it might be time for Kos to go. Pretty disappointed with his returns.
RMT
Pantsu – Jaku
Wisdom – Naughton – Terry – Ivanhooooooooo – PvA
Silva – Hazard – Sanchez – Eriksen – JwP
Austin – Kun – Kane
What to do? Replace Sanchez tonight with ……??????????? Or think in the long run and replace JwP with Gibson and Wisdom with Toby?
Aaah yes, I have 2 FT’s.
This GW I’m on 61 points with Ivanho, Turry, Hazzardo and Austin Power left to play.
Gibson? As in Darron Gibson?
Yeah, the dude from Everton. Will just be used 1 GW, GW33. He’s 4.2m and I need that money if I want to be able to afford Toby.
Thinking ahead of GW33, need 11 starters. Already have Austin for the next DGW, don’t need anyone else.
JwP and WIsdom not playing.
is 4.2 your lot?
If i want Toby. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm. Actually, to be honest. Have a good team next GW even without transfers. And I have 2 FT’s in the pocket. So yeah, should wait. Plus Gibson played much better than his alternatives. But he’s not 100 percent spot on.
4.3 gets you Cork. That said I wouldnt be doing transfers yet
Way too early to make a transfer. Sit on that team until closer to the end of the break.
Are you keeping Sanchez? He’s annoying the shit out of me but I know he’s pure class. My international break will do him some good. I heard Falcao has been crying on the phone with his agent.
I have no idea, mate. I’ll decide closer to deadline. I reckon he’s burned out, but as you say, the break might do him good.
He works his ass off for the team. Giroud taking all the spoils though. SO UNFAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Should I WC?
If not, when would be the best time?
Hi Anon, not sure this is the best DGW to utilise the WC in. GW34 may be better for you as you can switch your Chelsea cover around a bit. Possibly a good argument to use it in GW33 because of the teams with blanks that week with an eye on 34. You only have 3 players at the moment with blanks but that may be more come next week depending on your plans I guess. The alternative is to wait and see if Liverpool get through and where that leaves their potential DGW sitting. Best case scenario for someone with a WC would be them getting the same DGW as Arsenal. I’d have to check if that’s an option for them but I think it is from memory.
Yes, just checked and it is. Would mean Palace at home and Hull away for them on top of the Arsenal ones.
@innitowinnit sage advice is what i’d go with. your team looks good – just make sure you have 11 players in GW33, then WC for GW34 with enuff cover for GW37 as well since Arsenal play twice that week too. good Luck
