Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 30 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15
GW30 is live! Ahhh, a lunch time game to get us going. Vinny welcomes in Gareth McAuley and the Baggies where he hopes to get some tips on how to defend properly from the Irishman. That is followed up by 5 games with a three o’clock start time. Swansea visit Villa and their all of a sudden high scoring side. Sherwood has managed to inspire and lead his men to goals in 3 of their last 4. Sounds like Manager of the Season material to me. The Newcastle French contingent watch their messiah Wenger come in to probably bless them with another defeat. Burnley will be feeling up for a go at Saints after beating City and restoring hope that they can yet crawl out of the bottom 3. In other action Spurs will be looking to rebound against Leicester after being the first team to be outsmarted by tactical genius LVG this season. Speaking of genius managers, Pardew takes his Palace side for a visit to the Britannia for a mostly fantasy irrelevant game. The Hammers look to get back on track against a reeling Sunderland squad, unfortunately for them the firing of Poyet could well mean that the Black Cats might come in prepared.
Sunday sees off the game-week with the last 3 fixtures. The lead game is a cracker of a game, as Liverpool welcome pugilist Wayne Rooney and his Manchester corner-men. After that bout ends we get the chance to witness CFC looking to skin a cat at KC Stadium. If they somehow can’t, I am sure Jose will blame the referee for handing them a dull knife or something. We close our GW with Charlie Austin continuing to try and impress current and future Premier League teams in 2015/2016 that his services can be used. Should be easy going for him as Everton are now due a streak of several losses if their record since November is any indication.
Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the woofbet.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so keep up us up to date on how you are fairing.

1) Sanchez to ? Mat Philips?
2) Kos to Bertrand?
3) Pants to Davis? or to Hart if do 1
Only 0.1 in money.
2/ Kos to Bertrand
Sanchez to Phillips just sounds so wrong..!
i know it sounds very wrong. but….
2, for me.
So Kane v Burnley should outscore DGW Austin v WBA / Villa.
Also I’m concerned about Kun & sanchez
They’re taking up a big wedge of cash but ain’t performing I’m seriously thinking of dumping them both
Maybe
Kun to Costa / Giroud
Sanchez to sterling / Fab / caz
Also whose the best goalie to replace foster (4.8m to spend) ?
I’ve got Myhill already but looking at WBA fixtures from Gwk 34 onwards I’m gunna need back up.
hey Bigz – prob Davis is Forrster is out for a bit?
Dreamers
Not sold on kelvin Davis…he looked far from match fit, plus I’ve got Clyne as soton def cover.?
I’m thinking Begovic …his fixtures are good from Gw 34 onwards Myhill’s are good until then.
Morning all! Didn’t capo Kane yesterday, instead I have given the band to Costa. We’ll see how that one works out later! Also have Terry and currently sit on 59pts. Hoping to make up some ground today – we’ll see.
Some cracking scoring yesterday by lots of you – great to see. What are we all hoping for this afternoon?
hey Cookie – Ive 63 in comparison and did captain Kane
An Austin hatrick would be nice. Very nice.
And very possible Dreamers, fingers crossed!
Morning cookie
Costa for captain looks good should bag plenty of points…although watching Costa sometimes,
you get the feeling if things arnt going his way he’s a red card ready to happen.
But I do think he’s quality & I’m seriously looking at dumping Kun for him.
Got nothing ridding on this except pride.
Liverpool 2-0 Man Utd
That’ll do nicely
Big, did you mean 2-0 to United? Must have been a typo I guess 😉
Cookie
Sorry mate no typo error
Liverpool 2 v 0 Man utd
Sturridge
Coutinho
There we go, now get down to the bookies !
Yes I agree Big see the Pool winning 3-1 goals in this game I see the Hull / Cle game being a lot tighter
Big, you may have just struck on something there. I am the worst gambler in the world, so yeah down to the bookies I go and stick a fiver on every possible positive score for the Scousers :hippo:
Morning Cookie. I’m hoping for a big win for United, and Ivanovic/Austin hat-tricks. Asking a bit much, eh?
Maybe NIN, how about any win for Utd, a Chelsea cs and Austin brace?!
Any win will do, but no dice on the other two. I’m playing catch-up this GW so a Chelski CS ain’t gonna cut it!
Hmmmm kind of need that from Terry, not Ivan!
Nope! Not allowed
Jeez NIN, you’re a tough man to negotiate with. Ok, Chelsea cs, goal each for Terry and Ivan, both made by Costa, who then scores a 2nd half hatty…..my final offer.
I’ll have to talk to my people. Expect a call.
Morning Cookie
57 points on the board! 4 points from my captain Kun! :cuss: Stroke of genius that one! Just got Haz and Austin left
There has been some great scoring on here, fair do’s!
So be interesting to see how Costa goes on today. I did consider getting him for Austin, as the dgw next week doesn’t appeal much!
Dreading the game today. Been a year or 2 since I remember so much riding on it!
Morning Basher,
It’s going to be huge mate, hoping for a surprise away win, but not that confident of it happening. Your boys seem to be able to get themselves up for the big ones (bar Chelsea last season of course, slipped up there) – the way you beat City a few weeks ago was a good sign and worrying for us.
Kind of hoping Brenda caves in and plays Slippy. I wouldn’t if I were him, but who knows?!
Well I’m hoping Brenda can keep the ship sailing as he has since our last meeting! Could well do with Hull popping a couple in today as I’m fresh out of Chelski defence! Austin getting a couple would be nice to! 5th red arrow on the bounce!
Surely my Sunday has to be better than my Saturday! He says with breath held!
Let’s hope not eh 😉
Forgetting the Fantasy world, what a great day of sport yesterday. The cricket was amazing and the rugby something else – just a shame they couldn’t quite get there. Kop
was shitting himself when the French ran the ball from their own line after the 80mins were up!!
Probably the best Super Saturday for a long time mate! Fair do’s to the Irish, they were the best team of the tournament! It was quite funny when the French made that run! I actually thought England were going to do it at one stage!
It would have been a brilliant finish, but you’re correct, the best team won the Championship, so fair enough.
Morning Cookie !! Something from Hazard and a chelski clean sheet would be nice.Oh and Austin,Costa and Ivanovic to have a quiet one.Sorry mate (and Nin) :p
Ouch Brooky, not nice!
:finger:
Morning all hope you are all having good GW back in top 10k 71 points 2 to play Haz & Austin
Nice shooting Silver.
Hey guys.
Which is better?
Haidara –> Hutton
Krul –> Guzan
2 ft and 0.7 mil in the bank
Matt, nothing right now in my opinion. Sherwood saying he has only two fit defenders, so I would certainly wait until next week to see if they have any more fit.
Why not do both?
I don’t really want to have double defence especially Villa defence.
Neither, to be honest. I expect next to nothing from DGW defenders.
Kind of agree there NIN – maybe take a punt on Sinclair if anything?
Cheers Cook/NIN. I actually wasn’t going to bring in any Villa players but GP made these two suggestions and I thought why not? I was thinking of bringing in Fabianski for Pantillimon as I haven’t the funds to bring him in for Krul.
Would you sell Puncheon for Sinclair?
Matt, as a DGW punt I would, yes.
Right cheers Cook.
Yep, something like that anyway.
Cookie/NIN
70 points with Terry, Hazard and Austin to go.
Rubbing my hands when I heard the Southampton result. Turned to astonishment at my new signing Forster only managing 1 point :noshake:
Overall though I’m happy.
Nice one TGP  Your fortunes have turned these last few weeks. Keep up the good work.
Oh, and i feel your pain re Forster. Bad blow. Luckily i bought Ospina last week so that gets me out of a hole for a bit.
NIN
Cheers mate. My other GK is Pantillimon.
I don’t know whether to go Myhill for Forster if the injury is a season-ender for Forster. Would allow a few quid to be spent elsewhere.
Let’s just say Soton were a whole lot luckier than Sunderland. Sunderland really deserved a cleansheet and they looked very good. Plus, the WHU goal should’ve been cancelled, was a foul.
I think Burnley could’ve and maybe should’ve scored 2/3 goals and they should’ve had at least 1 penalty that game. It was crazy, the refs yesterday were the poorest ever. It’s like every game had a deciding ref mistake.
Foster is out for the rest of the season, so I think I’ll go with Myhill (whom was awesome) instead of K Davis. WBA were always doomed, standing with 10 men after 90 seconds. Again, ref f-ing send off the wrong guy. STUPID REFS!
TGP – Personally, i’d go for Davis if Forster is out long term. WBA only have a handful of good fixtures left, whereas Southampton have a good run for pretty much the remainder of the season.
NiN, dicktwat! I am here also!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NIN
My worry is that Gazzaniga maybe comes in. He has played minutes in each of the last two seasons.
At least Myhill is guaranteed number two. I’ll have a good think.
Cheers matey.
Relax, mate. Have a banana or something 😉
No point in mulling yesterdays games now. It’s all about the big one at 1.30 and then the Classico tonight.
No worries, GP. It’s all guess work of course, but i reckon Davis takes the spot for however long Fortser is out. I really hope it’s not as bad an injury as suggested. He has been top drawer this season. Always sad to see players get bad injuries.
