Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 30 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

140304130146-michael-owen-bt-sport-horizontal-galleryGW30 is live! Ahhh, a lunch time game to get us going. Vinny welcomes in Gareth McAuley and the Baggies where he hopes to get some tips on how to defend properly from the Irishman. That is followed up by 5 games with a three o’clock start time. Swansea visit Villa and their all of a sudden high scoring side. Sherwood has managed to inspire and lead his men to goals in 3 of their last 4. Sounds like Manager of the Season material to me. The Newcastle French contingent watch their messiah Wenger come in to probably bless them with another defeat. Burnley will be feeling up for a go at Saints after beating City and restoring hope that they can yet crawl out of the bottom 3. In other action Spurs will be looking to rebound against Leicester after being the first team to be outsmarted by tactical genius LVG this season. Speaking of genius managers, Pardew takes his Palace side for a visit to the Britannia for a mostly fantasy irrelevant game. The Hammers look to get back on track against a reeling Sunderland squad, unfortunately for them the firing of Poyet could well mean that the Black Cats might come in prepared.

Sunday sees off the game-week with the last 3 fixtures. The lead game is a cracker of a game, as Liverpool welcome pugilist Wayne Rooney and his Manchester corner-men. After that bout ends we get the chance to witness CFC looking to skin a cat at KC Stadium. If they somehow can’t, I am sure Jose will blame the referee for handing them a dull knife or something. We close our GW with Charlie Austin continuing to try and impress current and future Premier League teams in 2015/2016 that his services can be used. Should be easy going for him as Everton are now due a streak of several losses if their record since November is any indication.

Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the woofbet.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so keep up us up to date on how you are fairing.

So Kane v Burnley should outscore DGW Austin v WBA / Villa.

Also I’m concerned about Kun & sanchez
They’re taking up a big wedge of cash but ain’t performing I’m seriously thinking of dumping them both
    Maybe
    Kun to Costa / Giroud
Sanchez to sterling / Fab / caz

Also whose the best goalie to replace foster (4.8m to spend) ?
I’ve got Myhill already but looking at WBA fixtures from Gwk 34 onwards I’m gunna need back up.

70 points with Terry, Hazard and Austin to go.

Rubbing my hands when I heard the Southampton result. Turned to astonishment at my new signing Forster only managing 1 point :noshake:

    Overall though I’m happy.

Nice one TGP  Your fortunes have turned these last few weeks. Keep up the good work.

      • NIN says:

Oh, and i feel your pain re Forster. Bad blow. Luckily i bought Ospina last week so that gets me out of a hole for a bit.

Cheers mate. My other GK is Pantillimon.

I don’t know whether to go Myhill for Forster if the injury is a season-ender for Forster. Would allow a few quid to be spent elsewhere.

Let’s just say Soton were a whole lot luckier than Sunderland. Sunderland really deserved a cleansheet and they looked very good. Plus, the WHU goal should’ve been cancelled, was a foul.

I think Burnley could’ve and maybe should’ve scored 2/3 goals and they should’ve had at least 1 penalty that game. It was crazy, the refs yesterday were the poorest ever. It’s like every game had a deciding ref mistake.

Foster is out for the rest of the season, so I think I’ll go with Myhill (whom was awesome) instead of K Davis. WBA were always doomed, standing with 10 men after 90 seconds. Again, ref f-ing send off the wrong guy. STUPID REFS!

        • NIN says:

TGP – Personally, i’d go for Davis if Forster is out long term. WBA only have a handful of good fixtures left, whereas Southampton have a good run for pretty much the remainder of the season.

NiN, dicktwat! I am here also!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My worry is that Gazzaniga maybe comes in. He has played minutes in each of the last two seasons.

At least Myhill is guaranteed number two. I’ll have a good think.

          Cheers matey.

        • NIN says:

Relax, mate. Have a banana or something 😉

No point in mulling yesterdays games now. It’s all about the big one at 1.30 and then the Classico tonight.

        • NIN says:

No worries, GP. It’s all guess work of course, but i reckon Davis takes the spot for however long Fortser is out. I really hope it’s not as bad an injury as suggested. He has been top drawer this season. Always sad to see players get bad injuries.
