Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 32 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match ChatGW32 is live! The last of the normal game-weeks before the silly season descends upon us with double and blank game-week’s ahead in abundance. And there we were thinking that it looked so simple, it couldn’t look any less so now if it tried. Everton are probably the flag bearers for the chaos that is about to ensue with a dodgy away fixture this week, then two doubles in a row followed by a blank and then two favourable home fixtures either side of yet another double! There are only actually 7 teams unaffected by the whole nonsense over the next few weeks and those include extremes of sweet and sour such as Leicester and Villa, with 5 in between those, so careful how you go and plan well! Onto this week…

  1. For those who haven’t done so yet, who are you planning to triple captain? I’ve thought of a few..
    Lukaku – GW33
    Sanchez – GW34
    Payet – GW34 or 37
    Debruyne – GW34

  2. I should have skipped Fabregas and gone straight for Coutinho with my WC yesterday. Woulda been huge for my score to get his (likely) 8 or 9 with bonuses!

    Any ideas what to do here?

    • Downgrade welbeck to mitrovic?

    • This looks a lot better

    • Mitro, I’m just not convinced that Welbeck will keep Walcott and Giroud out for their DGW. I think Welbeck will start one and Giroud will start the other. Could go really well though if Welbeck starts both. I also think that the last 2 weeks reveal that Bellerin is worth the extra .5 over Monreal.
      I’d also consider swapping Adrian out for a keeper who plays in 35. Migs or Darlow both have a double and play in 35. I went with Darlow and Hennessy (7m total for keepers). That would afford you Bellerin in for Monreal. You could also do Rojo in for Darmian to save .4

      • Pancho – what do you reckon to my last post above?

        • Mitro, I still think Rojo will play at least as much as Darmian. With the extra .4 you could do Delaney -> Sakho. But that may just be a matter of personal preference.

  4. For the sake of science, it appears that the early WC has payed off thus far! Was at 119k coming into this weekend.

Didn’t do it myself, not compared my current score to what it would have been with the WC yet but still looks like I jumped 80k so I’ll take that! A 5 digit final ranking now looks a possibility which it didn’t only 5 weeks ago when I was languishing below 500k! Really really don’t want a 6 digit one blotting my history!

    How can I make this better?

    • Neo, I guess it’s preference, but I think Coutinho over Firmino. Other than that it looks great!

      • Ah yes thanks Pancho! Probably Coutinho over Firmino yes, I don’t know how a simple hamstring injury is keeping him out for so long!

        • Neo, yeah and with Coutinho and Sturidge both healthy I think Firmino won’t be as central to what’s happening in their offense.

    Hennessy, Darlow
    Rojo, Simpson, Moreno, Gabriel, Bellerin
    Mahrez, Coutinho, KDB, Sanchez, Payet
    Aguer0, Lukaku, Martial 0.4 ITB
    Hopefully Martial to Vardy in GW35
    How does but look?

    • Tomo, looks awesome! Almost identical to my team that has scored really well this week. My only worries are Gabriel, Moreno, and cheap keepers. I’m worried about Gabriel being rotated (but I got him anyway). I also think Moreno will get rotated, so I got Sakho for .1 additional cash as he’s likely nailed on to not be rotated. I got those same two cheap keepers too, although I wish I could have afforded a premium keeper to go with a cheap one. I think if you deal with Moreno to Sakho you are all set.
